I had given Caesar my Kik account a couple days ago when he had mentioned it on the way to school.

"Hey, Ariel."

"Hi, Caesar," I had sad cheerfully back.

"Do you know what Kik is?"

"Actually, yes. Why?"

"Well um... first, do you have an account?"

"Yep. I do."

"Well... I do too and maybe we could swap accounts so we can chat on there?"

"Alright," I said, barely holding back the brightest smile ever.

And that's how I ended up going to a movie with him when he texted me if I wanted to go.

"Ariel"
Sent at 3:47 P.M.
"Ariel"
Sent at 3:55 P.M.
"Arielllll"
Sent at 4:22 P.M.

"Caesar"
Sent at 4:56 P.M.

"Want to go to the movies with me, carrie, jack, bruce, jade"
Sent at 5:01 P.M.

"What's the movie"
Sent at 5:03 P.M.

"Paper Towns"
Sent at 5:04 P.M.

"Ofc i can't pass that up"
Sent at 5:04 P.M.

"Meet me at my house tonight at 8"
Sent at 5:04 P.M.

"Okie"
Sent at 5:05 P.M.

By the time it was about 7:30, I had put on my Hard Rock shirt, black skinny jeans, white Keds, and a baseball cap. I had made my way to his house, leading to where I am now. Knocking on his front door.

I heard a bunch of voices yelling inside. I could hear Carrie's voice, especially. Her loud, raspy voice.

Finally, someone had answered the door. Opening it slowly, while chattering with someone else. It was Jack who had answered, while chatting up a guy that Caesar hadn't listed on Kik.

Jack turned to me. "Ariel! Come inside," he said, making me jump a little at the exclamation.

I stepped inside the house, looking around and half searching for Caesar. I turned around to Jack, to ask where he was.

"Jack-" But I was cut off by him. He seemed very intense and angry at the guy he was speaking to. I resolved to Carrie instead.

"Hey, Carrie," I had to speak up a little.

"Ariel? You're coming to the movies? Caesar didn't tell me. It's great to see you."

I laughed. "Yeah... speaking of Caesar, do you know where he is?"

"He's in the bathroom. When he's done, we'll leave."

"Okay, thanks."

A minute after I was done speaking, everyone was getting ready to leave and I had spotted Caesar. We crowded outside and got into two groups. We all wouldn't fit in one car so we had to have two drivers. Carrie volunteered to be the second driver and I was put in Carrie's group, along with the no-name stranger and Jack. The rest went into Caesar's car.

Once we drove off towards the theater, Carrie made instant conversation.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce you to my new boyfriend," Carrie said excitedly. "This is Adam." She gestured towards the no-name stranger, while keeping her eyes on the road.

"Hello, I'm Ariel," I said, looking at him.

He looked towards the back seats, where me and Jack sat. "Hey, Ariel."

Jack just stayed quiet and sat low in his seat. Almost like he was jealous.

After that, Carrie and Adam were the only two speaking in the car the rest of the way to the theater.
