Ariana's P.O.V

It was a few hours before they took me back to the ship. My hands still shook, my throat was dry.

"Ariana. Can you tell us how those people were able to do what they did?" Asked Anakin.

"I can't." I said as a tear ran down my face.

"What do you mean you can't." Said Obi-Wan.

"I do wish to speak of them. They are the ones who destroyed my family, they took everything from me." I said. Then another of the soldiers came up to Obi-Wan.

"Excuses me General the repairs are done, we are ready to take off." He said.

"Alright." Said Obi-Wan leaving leaving the room with him.

"Listen it is hard for me to take about them. I watched them kill one of my best friends and the captain of my guard. They killed everyone on my plants, they destroy my home. I do not want to talk about those people." I said.

"Alright." Said Anakin as he left the room that they gave me. I leaned back against the wall and closed my eyes. It was an hour before someone knocked at my door.

"Come in." I said. Ahsoka walked in and said "I came to see if you were hungry."

"Yeah, I guess." I said. She lead me out of my room and lead me around the ship.

"For someone who has been frozen in ice for a few years it seem you aren't scared of new things." She said.

"I am used to strange things, my home used to be full of mystery and wonders." I said as a memory of my past came to me.

"Can I ask you a question?" She asked me.

"Go ahead." I said.

"How where you able to survive that ice and how were you fine afterwards?" She asked.

"It is how my people are." I said.

"How?" She asked.

"Are you trying to get something out of me?" I questioned.

"No. I am just wondering what..." She started to tell me. I just turned around and walked back to my room. I bummed into one of the troopers.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"It's ok." He said as I moved passed him. I walked back into my room and sat on my bed.

"Mother? Father? My guardian, Serenity. What am I to do? Are planet has been at war because of what we can do and who we are. What am I to do? Should I tell about me and them? I trust them but my gut is refusing to listen to this feeling of trust. Something is wrong, I know that this world is at war but there is something more wrong. Please send me a sign." I said then I looked out the window and gazed out. It was amazing there was endless black but white stars painted the bleak scenery. Then I saw a bright light flicker.

"Thank you." I said clutching my neckless. Then I sat back in my bed and sighed. There was a knock on my door.

"Come in." I said.

"I'm sorry if I upset you." Ahsoka said to me.

"It is fine. I should have told you what you wanted to know. I.....do trust you but I was taught to trust my instincts and they told me something is wrong. However I realize that I should tell you what you want to know." I said.

"Come on." She said stretching out her hand, I took it and she lead me to where Obi-Wan and Anakin were.

"Master's. Ariana wants to tell you something." She said.

"Yes?" Asked Obi-Wan.

"I first want to apologize for not answering you before. But know I can they were able to do what they did was because of generics. You see the people of my world have a different genetic system then everyone else; we always have. That is why I can not feel cold, I am immune to almost all sickness and poisons." I explained.

"So that is how they are able to do those things." Said Anakin.

"Yes. However it is different for each one." I said.

"Can you do these things?" Asked Ahsoka.

"Me. Oh goodness no. Well not yet at least." I said.

"Thank you for telling us. But do you know how do fight things like that?" Asked Obi-Wan.

"Yes. The same way as you will fight anyone or anything else. We might be difficult but we are almost all of us are mortal." I said.

"Almost?" Asked Anakin.

"Yes. The main one? Called Slash, is dangerous. He is immortal, no normal weapon can harm him and I am not even sure of he can age." I Replied.

"What?" Asked Anakin shocked.

"Ok let me explain a little better. My people are immune to sickness, poison. We can survive in a place without oxygen, so I can go in space and be fine. As for the powers or ability's and there are a lot and it is different for anyone. But there are very few who were of my world who are immortal." I said.

"So everything you are capable is because of have a different genetic system." Said Obi-Wan.

"Yes." I replied.

"And some of you were immortal." Said Anakin.

"Yes and Slash is. He is also very dangerous." I said.

Third Person Narrative

"Trust us. We can help you with this war." Said Slash to Count Doku.

"Grevios spoke of your ability's. Are they true?" He asked.

"Of course they are, each of us have are own skill. Hawk can make weapons out of energy. Dark Shadows can teleport and use something called 'Controlling Shadows.' Wolf can turn into a wolf and she can control animals. Ela can control elements, meaning fire, earth, water and air; and anything else in those category's. Elrynsa can shap shift, take memorys and control minds." He said.

"What about you?" Asked Count Doku.

"Me? I can do all they can and much, much more." He said.

"Really?" Asked Count Doku.

"Yes. A nickname I earned was datorem mortis. That translates into Giver of death." Slash said his mouth curving into a smile.
