"Courtney I can't believe she's turning 10 tomorrow. She's growing too fast."

"I know it seems like just the other day her little voice was screaming for you from the pit while you were on stage." Courtney says and I laugh.

"I knowww thanks for helping me set up by the way. Me and Dalton definitely wouldn't of been able to do this on our own."

"Ari no need to thank us, Aaliyah's our little baby." Victoria said handing me to box of extra decorations. "Not anymore...hey I think I'm gonna decorate her room while she's asleep with these."

"Won't that wake her up?"

"Pfft no, once she's asleep she is out for the night."

Dalton, Court, Vic, and I put away everything making sure the house was clean for tomorrow. I looked around the room, my hands resting on my hips. "Looks like we did good. Goodnight guys."

After they left me and Dalton collapsed onto the couch. All week we had been running around jumping through hoops making sure everything was absolutely the best it could be for Aaliyah's special day. She said she didn't want anything too much and I respect that.

Although.....

That doesn't mean I'm not going to spoil her. I can't wait until she see's the cake I bought. It's a ice cream cake since she loves those and that's what she asked for. I also got her a special present, one that can't be bought for anyone, anywhere. It had to come from me.

"Baby are we ready for a 10 year old?" I asked Dalton leaning back on his chest. "We survived her first day of school, I'm sure we can handle this. What about three years from now when she turns thirteen? We'll have a teenager." He tried to kiss me but I dodged it.

"Babe please don't make me think about it." I pouted playing with the rings on my finger.

"Ari..." Dalton embraced me in his arms. "She's still your little girl. She's in no rush to grow up." I sighed pulling away. "I hope so." I showed him my Instagram feed.

"Look what they're doing." I smiled at all of the photos of little Aaliyah coming up on my timeline.

"It's funny to think that not only does she have us but she also has millions of your fans who care about her."

"Yeah when they want to. Every day it's something new..." I took a deep breath stretching my arms above my head.

"Come on let's go to bed. We have a big day ahead of us."
