Dandelion Wonder
Flying in thin air.
Without a single care.
No worries could they have.
Barely visible to see,
As they float upon the breeze.
Ever living, Dandelion seeds.
Wind hits them and they've gone.
Wishing on them, they drift up to the sun.
Come, lay with me, sweet lovely.
Where the air is always warm and the weight is always none.
Light and meaningful, Dandelion seeds.
Watch them on their way.
As on the ground they cannot stay.
See them conquer your heart.
They form the greatest works of art.
Unknown yet needed, Dandelion Seeds.
Greet the world around you, full of greed.
Unaware of the anxiety that they bleed.
Unwilling to concede.
And yet, filled with the beauty of Dandelion Seeds.
You may be similar to milkweed,
But I believe you are even more believing.
Even more glowing, and so friendly greeting.
You are gorgeous in your youth and plentiful in your age.
An astounding flower in which I'm proud to engage.
Giving us an eloquent gift of Dandelion Seeds.
