Sapnap and I are eating our lunch at the agency's cafeteria. Sapnap is praising me for our latest mission together. He says, "Dude! It's amazing how you were able to act like you were knocked out. It was so convincing that I almost believed it, even though I knew that I didn't put anything on that cloth!"

I chuckle and say, "It was actually very easy for me. But thanks, dude."

Back in the mission, when Sapnap put that cloth over my mouth. I just pretended that I was left unconscious because of it. This was so that it was made believable that Zoe is not Skeppy. Since we always just knock out the bystanders and drug them to make them forget everything. And thanks to my acting, I was able to successfully get TDO off my tail. Once I reported how I saw someone in that vent, and for sure saw me getting 'knocked out' by Sapnap, TDA started to investigate a bit. Soon, it was quickly found that The Demonic Organization has indeed lost suspicions on Zoe Dyson.

It's good to know that my efforts have not been in vain. I hope TDO doesn't cause any problems for me anymore. I then hear the voice of Livia say, "Look at him acting so high and mighty. It's not like he did anything super impressive, I bet everyone in the agency could pretend that they passed out."

Livia was once again spouting out insults about me. But this time, she doesn't speak directly to us but is instead talking with her friends. Though she is speaking loud enough for me to conclude that she intends us to hear her. Sapnap also notices, and he looks like he's about to say something based on the glare he is giving to Livia's table. But before he says anything, I say in a hushed tone so that only Sapnap hears, "Don't. She just wants attention."

Sapnap looks at me before glancing back at Livia. He then lets out a sigh, telling me that he's going to stay quiet. After a few minutes, Livia still talks bad about me from her table, but Sapnap and I pretend not to notice. Though Sapnap looks super annoyed. It looks like he could burst from anger at any moment. But soon, an agent approaches our table and tells me, "The boss wants you at his office."

I nod at the agent and say, "Thanks for telling me."

They nod back at me and walk away. As soon as I start standing up, Sapnap jumps out of his seat and says, "Can I accompany you there? I can't stand hearing her any longer."

I chuckle at his actions, knowing well that he's talking about Livia. I say, "Of course, I understand."

We head off towards the boss's office, making small talk along the way. Once we arrive, I enter alone into the office while Sapnap leaves to do his own thing. I knock on the door and am told to enter. Once I step inside, I am immediately greeted by my boss, Eret. He says with a smile, "Hello, Skeppy. Welcome, why don't you take a seat?"

He is sitting behind his desk and gestures to the chair in front of his desk. I simply nod at him and take a seat. Eret then says, "So, I'm pretty sure you concluded this already, but I'm assigning you a new mission."

I nod and say, "Yes. So what are the details? What will be my cover and role? Will I intercept something or just be backup?"

For a moment, Eret stayed in silence. It seemed like they were thinking about their next words carefully, but it was hard to read his face since he is wearing sunglasses. Don't know why he always wears that. Probably so that nobody fully knows every detail of his face. Soon, Eret says, "You see, Skeppy... this time, you won't really be dressed up as anyone since the mission takes place at a masquerade ball. So you really will only need to wear a suit and mask, which should technically be enough so that nobody figures out your true identity."

Now, this slightly shocked me. It's kind of rare when I don't have to change my full appearance for a mission and can have my natural appearance. But like Eret said, I'm going to be wearing a mask, so my identity will still be hidden. Plus, even if someone finds out I'm Skeppy, there will always be the doubt of whether or not I'm using a disguise since I'm always changing my appearance to look like a whole different person. But I know that Eret has more to say, so I simply say, "I see."

I stay quiet, waiting patiently for Eret to speak again. He lets out a sigh before mustering a smile and saying, "Before I continue with the details of the mission, I just want to let you know that I'm proud of how far you've come. I'm sure your family would be proud of your achievements. You have been able to succeed in most of the missions assigned to you. You have proven yourself worthy of being called an agent, and given your most recent mission, you have also proven that you're capable of getting yourself out of tough situations using that big brain of yours."

I'm a bit stunned from this praise and also a bit confused at why he's telling me this. I'm pretty sure he's exaggerating, but I'll just take the praise. Eret continues, "Also, I have been told by a little bird that you are getting better at fighting. I have seen it myself through our security cameras, and it's quite impressive what you're capable of now."

By 'little bird', I'm guessing he's talking about Sapnap. My fighting isn't really that impressive. I have many things to work on... Eret then says, "So, I want to tell you that this mission is going to be a bit different from your usual missions. Basically, this time, you're going to be the star of the show."

I raise my eyebrow at that. Star of the show? My mission is going to be different?? Eret finally says, "Though you are going through the masquerade ball in your mission, this time you won't be staying at the party, but in secret, you will sneak your way straight to the action. You will have to go through the building and steal something before The Demonic Organization can."

I let the words sink in, and then I feel panic start to form in me. I then say, "Wait- so you're telling me that this mission is going to be completely up to me whether it goes successfully or not?"

"Yes, but don't worry. It's not much of a problem if you don't succeed. This mission is mainly to test you to completely see where you're at.

Yeah, but if I fail, I'll be a laughing stock... Eret then says, "Here, take this folder. Any more information will be held here. Have a good day.

He hands me the folder with the information to my mission with an encouraging smile. I give him the most confident smile I could muster and take the folder. I leave the office with worry filled in my head. Oh God... this mission is bound to go horribly...
