(Y/n)'s POV

Jyugo approached me. Embarrassed, I threw a pillow at him and told him to stay away. God, he's so hot. I'll admit to myself that I have a crush on him, and after last night I'm so embarrassed to talk to him. Even so, I still want to find out more about him...especially when his hands turn into swords, that's so cool! Well at least it looked like his hands turned into swords, he probably was just hiding them in his clothes.

I've noticed though it seems like Jyugo's avoiding me. Why is that once I start to open up to him he starts? And the other three have been acting strange. It looks like they're trying to instigate something between Jyugo and I. Could it be that I'm too obvious and they've figured out that I like him?! No, they're not that smart.

"Hey, (Y/n)."

"Ahh!" I was startled. "What do you want Uno?"

"Heh, you looked like you were deep in thought. I just came over here to ask you if you want to play cards with us." He said.

"Sure, I'll play." I said as I got up.

"Jyugo-kun, are you gonna play too?" Uno asked.

Jyugo looked up and saw that I was playing too. "No, I think I'll pass."

What did I do?! Did I do anything wrong?

"Oh well, let's get started then!" Uno said.

Jyugo's POV

I looked over at (y/n) playing cards. I want to join everyone, but I can't. She thinks I'm a monster, and I am one. And what was that feeling I felt last night when I was with (y/n). I don't know what it is, maybe it's something I only feel with girls since I haven't seen one in awhile aside from the warden and nurse Kazari. Even so I've never felt this feeling with them, so what is it?

Suddenly an alarm went off, and the warden's voice boomed over the intercom.

"Attention all inmates, evacuate your cells in an orderly manner with your assigned prison guard. This is not a drill! The kitchen has set on fire and it is spreading rapidly throughout building 13. I repeat this is not a drill!"

"Shiro, nooo!" Rock cried.

"Calm down, I'm sure Shiro was able to evacuate," I said to Rock.

"I have to see for myself!" Rock said as he ran out the cell.

"Number 69, wait! Get back here!" Hajime yelled. He sighed before turning to us," Numbers 11,15, 25, and 51 let's go."

"What about Rock?" Nico asked.

"We don't have time to go chasing after him," Hajime responded.

"I can't let my friend die, I'm going to the kitchen!" Uno replied as he sprinted to the kitchen.

"We're going too," Nico and I declared at the same time as we started running.

"Hey! Don't leave me here with Hajimemashita!" (Y/n) yelled as she followed us.

"Haha! Nice pun!" Uno and Nico commented.

"HEY, WHAT'S WITH THAT NAME?! YOU FOUR GET BACK HERE!" Hajime yelled at the top of his lungs.

We reached the kitchen to see a collapsed Shiro and Rock by his side.

"Guys help me carry him!" Rock cried.

The five of us started lifting the heavyset cook, but his body wouldn't budge.

"Move out the way," Hajime said as he lifted Shiro effortlessly.

"Damn baldy, you're strong!" (Y/n) exclaimed.

"Shut up, and let's hurry out." He replied.

As the fire got more intense, the building started to collapse. It's bad enough that there's ash and residue in the air, but the falling pieces of the ceiling structure is making it even harder to run, not to mention I have low stamina.

I looked to my side and saw (y/n) next to me. Her pace was slowing down because she was way ahead of me before. She started coughing a lot, and eventually collapsed on the floor.

"(Y/n)!" I cried as I went to her aid.

I don't care if she thinks I'm a monster, I'm not going to let her die! However, a wall of fire encamped around the two of us separating us from the others.

"Jyugo, (y/n)!" Uno cried.

"Keep running dumbass!" Hajime yelled at him.

"We can't leave anyone behind!" Uno argued.

"It's okay Uno, I got this." I shouted from behind the firewall.

I don't know where this confidence came from, but without realizing, my hands transformed into swords, and my eyes were blazing like the flames. I slashed through the flames, breaking us free from the inferno that held us captive. I picked (y/n) up, and carried her the rest of the way. We finally made it outside.

"We have to do CPR!" Nico yelled.

"I'm not doing it on Shiro, but I'll definitely do it on (y/n)~" Uno said.

"Let's settle this with rock, paper, scissors!" Rock suggested.

"Ready? Rock, paper, scissors shoot!" The four of us said.

The first time was for Shiro, and Rock lost so he had to do Shiro.

"Haha, have fun Rock!" Nico teased.

"Why do I have to do it?" Rock whined.

"You were the one who was the most insistent on saving him, so it only makes sense." Uno explained.

"Alright, now for (y/n)!" Nico said excitedly.

"Rock, paper, scissors shoot!"

I lost.

"No fair Jyugo-kun! I'm the attractive one!" Uno complained.

I peered down at (y/n)'s lifeless doll like body unconscious in my arms. I placed her gently on the ground to get ready to give her CPR. My face got hotter and hotter the closer I got to her lips.

"Do it, do it, do it!" Nico annoyingly chanted.

"Shut up!" I told him.

I turned back to (y/n), and placed my lips on top of hers and successfully performed CPR. Her eyes shot open, and I immediately got off of her.

"S-sorry," I apologized.

"T-thank you for saving me Jyugo," she said while looking at me before turning her head.

That feeling came back again, but this time even more intense. But before I was able to dwell in my thoughts, the frantic blue haired guard ran over to the five of us to announce that we would be staying in building 5 until the repairs are finished in building 13.
