The morning after our date me and Garrett where simply cuddled up on the couch, my back against his chest and his arms around my waist. We were simply laying there, not speaking, just enjoying the silence and each others presence, when suddenly Bella and Edward burst into the room and say," Alice and Jasper have Left!" We sat up straighter, still in the same position but straighter. " What do you mean gone?" Garrett questions,"I mean they left a note saying that they crossed the Atlantic last night!" We stood in shock and by this time everyone had gathered in the living room. "They left to protect us all, this is always the case, when Aro wants someone from a coven he always finds evidence that they committed some sort of crime. He will spare only the few he says can be saved, they always have powerful abilities." Eleazar speaks up. Amun, the Egyptian coven leader stands and says,"Benjamin, Tia lets go we are leaving." Benjamin refuses and replies,"No, I will stay and do the right thing." Edward then speaks up,"Who says he will stop at Alice, he could come for Benjamin next or Kate or Zafrina or Fall. Anyone with an ability he could use," Garrett tightens his hold on my waist and pulls me further back into his chest before Edward Continues,"Its not Justice he's after but power. Carlisle may not ask you to fight but I will, for my family and yours." Suddenly all the coven rise and say one after the other that they will fight. When it gets to Garrett he says," This won't be the first time I have fought a king's rule," and I say after,"I was in it from the start you know that." I smile at them and then the Romanians ,who had arrived not too long ago, pitch in," That didn't take much." Bella told us that in Alice's note it said the Voltori will arrive when the snow sticks to the ground. The next few days we spent time with loved ones, training and trying to keep our spirits up. Then the say arrived the day we moved closer to where they would arrive, the day before the big moment. One of the Mutts was building a bonfire in the middle of a clearing and me and Benjamin both lit it. Grinning widely the Mutts ,or Jacob, sat down and starting talking about bonfire stories and all but the  he realized we all where just standing there and added on," Or just standing there like frigging statues." Garrett flitted over to one of the logs and sat down saying,"Name any American Battle, I was there." Then Jacob answered with," Little Big Horn," Garrett grinned and said,"I was this close to biting Custer," indicating with his fingers," but the Indians hot him first." I giggled and sped over to sit in his lap and addressed Jake,"Try Oleg's assault on Constantinople. He didn't win that one on his own." Then the other coven joined in and started telling war stories, starting with the Irish. I tuned out of the conversation and just focused on running my fingers through his hair, making him glance up at me and smile softly. I looked at him and kissed him on the nose teasingly. He groaned, making me giggle, and tuned back in to the Romanians story. I drifted in to thought about tomorrow and  hoped I will would be able to keep My loved ones safe......
