Luna Edwards P. O. V.

I was sitting there at my twin sisters and I's 16th birthday party. I was in the corner of the room that was filled with family and my sisters friends. Sometimes I wonder how we are twins. She I so popular and then there's me who doesn't have any friends outside of my family. I am that girl you see sitting in the back of the classroom. The one who wears dark colors. You call me a creepy rebel. I have lip piercing. Black hair. (Picture at the beginning). Yep that's me Luna Hurst. Lizzie's creepy rebel sister.

*DING* my phone goes off interrupting my thoughts. I got a text.

Nalla: hey are you ok?

I look across the room to see Nalla looking at me! Nalla is my cousin and one of my best friends. She is always there for me but Lizzie is making her hang out with her friends.

Me: yeah just not ready for tonight!!😔

Nalla: I can ask my dad if you could come and stay the night at my house so you don't have to dill with her friends.

Me: yeah that would be nice. You ask and see what he says and if he says yes I will talk to my mom!

Nalla: ok hold on!!

Me: ok

I watch her walk over to her dad and talk to him for a while. Then she came over to me.
"He said if it is ok with your mom you can" she said. We both when over to my mom.
" Hey girls what's up?" My mon asks.
"I was wondering if I could stay at Nallas tonight!" I said
"Yeah that is fine you can go and pack after you open your presents and eat some cake." She says.

We are know opening presents. More like Liz is opening presents. I opened all of mine. I got a lot of car things but I don't have a car. But Liz has on from dad but I don't go to our dads house my mom has full custody of me. As I am opening one of my moms and step dads present it's an envelope. I take the paper out of it and it was a adoption paper. It has my name but not the last name. My name was Luna Edwards.

I look up at my mom and now dad. The way my new dad looked at me was a look that have wanted to see since I was old enough to talk and understand. People may think of me as someone who doesn't know what hurt is but their wrong. I feel hurt every day when my father doesn't even talk to me. He never wished me a happy birthday in 6 years. I haven't gotten one present from him in 6 years. People say that I don't know how it is to loose someone. Well I do I lost my dad and one of my closest friends when I was 10. They may still be alive but they might as well be dead.

Liz had just got done with her last present. She got a lot of worthless stuff.

As I was about to go to feed my dog. My dad yells and says we have one more present. My sister screamed. And I just stood there. I let my sister have hers first since she was the oldest out of the two of us.

Her present was a newly decorated room. It had all her trophies and awards up where everyone can see.
