Just the outer edge of the bill or bills were charred but the rest was intact which kind of gives you an impression of intensity and the brevity of the flash that would have occurred. I can remember finding oocketbooks with family pictures in it, clothing, someones shoe."

One of the agents that was working on the sight came across remains on the first day and it was large remains and broke down crying. It was very hard for some of them to work there and find stuff like that.

He stopped at the school and stopped and talked to the principal of that school to tell her how much he and the other agents appreciated the grassroots supports, and he wanted to make sure all the students and teachers got the message. "Why dont you tell them yourself?" The principal suggested, before he knew it she handed him a microphone for the schools PA system.

"Boys and Girls, ladies and gentlemen. Im one of the FBI agents working the crash site," he said in his brief and improputu broadcast, the first synch speech of his long and distinguished career. "And all the flags and all the things that you've done that we've seen here on a daily basis... we just really appreciate it."

And with that the veteran G-man headed down the hallway, determind to get back on the road before he started choking up, until he noticed a commotion all around him.
