About half an hour later, Lionshine returns with a panting Pebblepounce behind her.

"What took you so long?" scolded Shadepelt. "I have been sitting here for AGES and these weird blue, blobby cats keep giving my weird looks and they keep asking me questions and I can't understand a word they say."

Pebblepounce strains to overhear a nearby conversation.

"Actually," started Pebblepounce, "They don't speak a weird language. They speak Hindi, a commonly spoken language in Northern and North Western India. So technically they have some resemblance to cats back on earth."

"Just shut up and get to translating," mewed Shadepelt as she pushed him over to the cat-like creatures.

"Alright, Fine. Hailo main yahaan apane doston ke saath hoon aur ham yahaan ek dost kee talaash kho gaya aur yadi aap hamaree madad kar sakata hai use khojane ke ham soch rahe   the," said Pebblepounce

"Tumhaara matalab hai ki ajeeb billee hai ki bas se chala gaya ? haan, vah vishaal jangal ke maadhyam se chala gaya, sivaay vahaan ek samasya hai, jab kisee bhee baaharee vyakti gaanv mein aata hai, unimaginaiablai horros ke ek andhere rahasyamay praanee jaaree kee hai aur baahar dobaara maar daalega," replied the other.

 "Aha! They have seen Alderwood, except there is one problem..."

"What is it?" asked Lionshine desperately.

"Well, when Alderwood fell down the pit, he kind of sort of broke a spell... when an outsider comes into the village, a dark mystical force of unimaginable horrors will kill the outsider. So, right now, Alderwood could potentially be dead."

"Well then, that's a minor setback,"  mewed Shadepelt in boredom.  

"A minor setback!?" shouted Lionshine "My brother could be dying as we speak! How do we stop this thing?

"Theek hai, to mere dost ko pata hai ki ham is praanee ko rokane chaahate hain."

"Aap hugs ke saath is baat ko haar. duniya ke sabhee mein sabase daiadlyaist baat."

"Theek hai phir. theek hai, aapakee madad ke lie dhanyavaad ke lie yah kaaphee saraahana kee hai. Lekin vahaan ek tarah se ham sambhavatah yahaan raat bita sakata hai?"

"Haan, kuchh jhoole ki tum vahaan par ki raaste neeche mein so sakate hain, vahaan sirph aap sabhee ko phit karane ke lie paryaapt hain."

"Theek hai dhanyavaad! So apparently these cats really love hate and hate love, so more than likely this creature is not as bad as it sounds, and so apparently you are supposed to defeat it with hugs. Oh, and they gave us permission to spend the night here," said Pebblepounce

"Where do you plan on sleeping?" asked Lionshine.

"Well there are some hammocks down that path over there that we are allowed to sleep in."

"Alright then!" shouted Shadepelt. "Let's get to walking."

After a very long walk through the woods, they finally manage to reach their sleeping spots.

"Why are the hammocks made out of leaves?" asked Shadepelt, slightly annoyed. "I just finished walking in leaves, and now I have to sleep in them?"

"Stop complaining, Shadepelt, it seems as if that is the only thing you ever do. But anyway, Get in a hammock and get some rest."

And as each cat climbed into their hammock, one by one they fell asleep.
