Chapter 5: Sacrifices

"Welcome back, yeo dongsaeng," Sofia greeted her sister, who came in with sewer scent. Olivia's eyebrows furrowed once she heard the unfamiliar word. "And what is that supposed to mean?" She asked, stopping herself from walking in the room until she gets and answer. Sofia sighed, turning the television off as she stood up and looked at her sister.

"It's Korean for 'little sister'," she replied nonchalantly, walking away to her room as she threw the remote unto the couch. Olivia rolled her eyes as she headed for her room as well.

Sofia reached her room, and she immediately threw herself unto her bed. This morning, she went to jog around New York a couple times, and she admits that she was very tired after that. She rolled, making her face stare at the blank ceiling above her. She extended her left hand, reaching for her phone with the red Minnie Mouse case.

She placed her thumb on the home button, unlocking the screen. She went to scroll through Instagram, but it only made herself even more bored.

Her life isn't that fabulous as she thought it was. She honestly hated it, mostly because of the unfairness called 'love'. She hated how she loved someone so much, but someone is stealing that person—or rather, mutant—away from her.

And that person was her sister, Olivia King.

She loved the orange clad turtle, Mikey. She didn't know how she out of all her baes love one mutant turtle. She liked Ayato from Diabolik Lovers, she liked Prussia from Hetalia, she liked Fubuki from Inazuma 11 Go, she basically liked every hot boy in every anime she watched.

But this time, she fell in love with a mutant turtle she and her sister loved very much.

It does sound wrong, she knew. And even if it did, she didn't let go, she basically couldn't. She sighs, deeply hating her life now.

Unlike the others, Sofia knew how to confess. She was very open about it too. And one day, she will confess to Mikey, even if he wouldn't return the same answer. She needed to let it out, but she couldn't for one particular reason, and like a while ago:

Her sister.

Her sister probabl—no, definitely loved him. She loved him so much to death, and Sofia, who was trying to be the best big sister, didn't want to break her opportunity. Her sister was the first one to love him, and Sofia believed the phrase, "First come, first serve.". So she waited, she waited for the perfect opportunity, even if she probably won't get it.

She sighed as she continued to think hopeless thoughts. She cursed under her breath as she went to watch anime in KissAnime.com.
