Harlequin's Pov (aka king)

I woke up before the sun came up because no one is up at that time unless Captain stayed up all night, Gowther is weird so, I don't know if he sleeps or not.

I get up and go out into the forest by where we are parked. I turn my Chastiefol in to fifth form and take one of the daggers in my hand and cut my wrist it hurts and I know that this is one of the reasons why I am not good enough to be with Diane because she is just perfect and I'm broken my sister is dead and I'm not the one looking for a way to bring her back Ban is.

I'm always smiling but it's just so no one notices my sadness cause then they'll worry about me. I better head back before someone notices that I'm gone.

When I walk in everyone's up and smiling they don't even notice me walk in until Merlin asks me where I've been I have all the attention now.

"I-I just w-went fo-for a w-walk..." I managed to stutter out.

"Oh so you must be hungry." Diane smiled.

"Y-yeah!" Why am I like this around her?

"Well come over here then!" Diane yelled over to me happiness coursing through her voice.

"O-ok." I am such a lame excuse for a fairy.

I walked over to Diane and sat beside her. I could feel everyone's eyes on me and I tried to read their minds which surprisingly worked.

When I was reading Diane's mind I got. I'm worried about Harlequin I see that he's not okay ,like he tells us he's fine but I see it the doubt in him, I want to help him.

Well didn't think it was that obvious, guess I was wrong and I have to try harder to hide it.

The others minds were just what you would expect none of them were thinking about me but I don't know about Captain or Ban cause they have strange minds that for some reason I couldn't read.

~Time Skip~

When I finished breakfast I got up and left The Boar Hat. I don't intend to go back for a long time if ever again.

I flew pretty far away before I sat down on a tree branch listening to all the sounds around me when I heard footsteps I looked down to see Diane climbing up to me. When she got up to me she sat down beside me and then for some reason grabbed my left hand while my right hand was on the main part of the tree.

"D-diane w-why a-are y-you h-holding m-my h-hand?" I was blushing so hard that if Diane didn't notice it she must be blind.

"I wanted to, silly. I just came to check on you because I was worried about you.l Diane is blushing too I wonder if I should try to read her mind.

I think I shouldn't read her mind cause I don't know what she might be thinking about. What if she's thinking about Meliodas or Howser they both seem like people that she would want to be with right?

"Harlequin are you okay and give me a real answer not just some lie. I know you are a good lier but I don't like being lied to, so please tell me the truth. And then maybe I'll tell you something that I haven't told anyone before." Diane spoke in a super serious way that made me shiver.

Wait she called me Harlequin but she's not supposed to know that have her memories come back?

"I'm just scared that the fairies wouldn't except me after I abandoned them for 700 years I know I have visited the forest but the first time they threw rocks at me and the other time I went they were to scared of the demons to notice me fully." It's not completely a lie but I can't tell Diane that I'm hurting.

"Oh I don't have to worry as much now, well I wanted to tell you I remember everything even when you promised me to love me forever do you still love me?" Oh I didn't expect this.

"Yes I still love you with all my heart!!" I was almost yelling in what is it passion that sounds right.

Oh no Diane's crying, but she's smiling too she must be crying out of happiness I guess.

"Hey do you want to go with me?" I asked her 

"Of course I would love to because, I LOVE YOU!!!!" Diane was super excited and that was clear, but, she loves me?

"Well let's go!" Diane said.

"Yeah, jump on." And with that Diane was sitting on Chastiefol in it's pillow form and going to The Fairy King's Forest.

~Time Skip~

The journey took a few days and Diane was so excited and cute that it was hard to keep my act together when I wanted to cry and have her support me but I lied to her so now it's even harder to tell her.

"Harlequin is that it up ahead?" Diane asked me.

"Yes it is Diane." I tell her. 

"Yay I'm so excited!" Diane squealed.

When we were at the entrance I took a deep breath and walked inside. When I stepped in a girl flew over, I didn't recognize her at first but then I realized this was Helbram's little sister. Her hair is brown and her outfit was definitely made by humans or by herself while copying humans it was a black shirt and black pants and they were both styled similar to my own clothing. Her hair was down and it went down to elbows. She is one of the few fairies that don't have wings.

"Harlequin do you know what happened to my brother is okay I remember when you left 700 years ago he was with you did something happen to him cause if he died or got seriously injured I will kill whoever did it." She growled.

"Um, he died but someone kept bringing him back to life and then in the end he begged me to kill him. The first time was when he slaughtered humans for about 400 years after 100 years of listening to people tearing wings off fairies backs and pained screams the way he told me sounded awful but, I kept my promise to put him in line and I stopped his suffering, the second time was 200 years later which was quite resent just a few weeks before the war we just experienced but anyway, he was trying to kill me but I killed him first and the third and final time was the same day just a few hours later and he begged me to kill him." I explained which took quite a lot of breath.

"If you weren't the current Fairy King I would have killed you just so you know. Who is this girl with you anyway?" Helbram's sister asked.

"I'm Diane." Diane told her.

"I'm Celesta." Helbram's sister told Diane.

What do ya think of my new story I don't know how often I'm gonna update so I currently don't know when the next chapter is going up but bye for now
