The leader of the Firelights scarcely avoided getting ejected off his board, diving down just as one of his peers was uncontrollably heading towards him.

Instead, the unlucky Firelight crashed into a support beam of the installation, followed by a trail of smoke. A glowing arrow with blades for feathers stuck out of the board's destroyed engine. Incidentally, dozens of the same model were tearing through the stuffy Underground air.

A single individual was the cause for this and she was the Firelights' current rival. Slowing down and circling the scene to assess the combat, Ekko watched the unknown archer.

Her technique was mesmerizing and her talents undeniably surpassed simple humanity. She moved in such synchronicity with her long bow that it appeared to be an extension of her body.

The young male flew back into the action at full speed, managing to knock her down with his weapon while she spun to shoot another arrow. The projectile ricocheted on the floor, slicing into it; her arrows, too, were clearly enhanced by enchantments or technology.

Ekko hopped off his ride and flanked the stranger alongside two of his followers.

Her stance was at ease, suggesting that she was accepting defeat, contrarily to her bow, still taut and ready to send an arrow wherever she pleased.

Coincidentally, as the boy lowered his head to search for an insignia of some kind among her layers of dark clothing, his eyes fell on her shoes. He blinked and squinted through the slits of his mask, taken aback. The teenager felt unsure of his statement, but could not refrain from speaking it.

"You're her. The woman with the snakeskin boots."

Her stifled chuckle startled him, however not as much as the fact that she swiftly disarmed her bow to let it hang by her side.

"Well, I have to say, that's a new one..."
