Crater's Edge is starting to ramp up its research. They have made major strides already but being careful is slowing things down. They are considering using the non powered population for some testing to see how the energy affects them differently.

The church has been calling powered citizens the children of the skies. Non powered citizens are considered a disgrace. They feel as though the meteorite is a god from the heavens used to wipe out all sin. They tend to keep to themselves but as this push for testing started, they've been emboldened about their beliefs.
