Do you guys remember that ink art painting I did a while back? The broken bridge? Okay, so it was based on someone else's art of Mirkwood that I used as the basis for the school project.

Well, being me, I wanted to add something to it in order to make it a bit more mine. I was going to add an image of Legolas pointing an arrow at the viewer to help tell a bit more of a story with the art (Can't you tell I'm a writer?). Well, as I got into the artwork I decided that doing that with an inkpen would be far to difficult to pull off properly, so I went with having tengwar graffiti on the sides.

But, it still bothered me that I couldn't use the image, so during a really boring hour and a half after school while awaiting to be picked up, I started drawing the image anyway.

Skip forward a couple months and I found that unfinished picture and, being me, I had to finish it.

So, this is my first pencil-sketched LotR fanart. I figured those huge Tolkienites I know on here (You know who you are) wouldn't be too upset seeing the finished image.

So, yes, Legolas is the subject, and not Aragorn. I'm sorry, I know. But, there was a legitimate reason. . .
