Wow, 2018. I was not prepared for this. And I can't believe I missed the televised ball drop--first time in my life. Though, in my defense I was in the middle of a chess game when it happened.

So, this year marks the beginning of my third year here. So what is it I have to show for it? Well, autumn_sunfire convinced me to get involved in this sappy (her words, but I agree) new year stuff.

First, I want to let those who I've told I'd read their stories, I'm actually going to do it now. I went through a sort of reading slum where I only read physical copies and I feel really bad about it. Just started yours, Verity. Loving it so far!

Okay, so let's begin.

autumn_sunfire -- So, Tolkien/Autumn/Verity, we meet again. You're an amazing writer and I was so shocked when you started reading my stuff. You've been there pretty much since the beginning of my spreading out. You really started this little community I've become a part of.

LuckyPlum -- Your encouragement always meant the world to me. To have another adult (other than my parents) to think that my work was worthwhile was the best I could have hoped for.

-Spacey-Wacey -- Always a riot, you are. Conversations with you brighten my day. Your mischief and trouble-making abilities never cease to amaze.

Blanket_Cape -- You know exactly how I feel about you, you demon. One of my closer friends. I always look forward to conversations.

Ellowyne -- I was glad when you first asked for my opinion on your book (though I've yet to follow through, but I'm getting there). I know we don't talk much, but it always means a lot when strangers show up. 😊 You're also in the list of those I want to finish reading their stories.

Ithildaeforever -- Much the same goes for you. Your story, The First, is amazing and I plan on finishing it. There isn't much to say other than I look forward to it all.

LKellam -- Wow, you're the cause of me joining some secret society. But, seriously, being a part of your group of friends seems like a joy and I look forward to joining your conversations! Also, your books are amazing, I look forward to finishing The King's Persecution.

I think that's it, I may have missed some, and if I have I apologize. Just let me know and I'll make amends.
