~Gwens pov~

                    Running. That's all I've been doing go the past hour. Perfect day to forget my bow don't you think? Me neither. Man I wish I had done track in school. I skidded around the corner, trying not to fall mind you.

Having a stab wound in my arm wasn't helping either, nor the ninja star in my thigh. How'd this happen you may ask? This is how...

                         Flashback

I was walking home from work, by an old wear house. I heard something crash inside and my stupid curiosity got the best of me. I went to the alley beside the building and stood on my tip toes to see in the window. Inside, there were black clothed people but they walked to stiff to be human. Robots.

They were carrying crates to a white van behind the building. Just my luck, I lost my footing and fell with a crash. I stood back up and noticed 2 of the robots heading towards the door. I looked to the entrance of the alley and sure enough, there they were.

End of flashback

Being weak from blood loss wasn't helping my progress. If I pulled the star out of my leg, i would bleed to death. So, there it stayed. Then I thought the roof tops, they'll never catch me up there. I turned into an alley and headed for the ladder dangling from one of the buildings.

I quickly shimmied up the ladder, the 2 hot on my trail. When I got to the top, another star was thrown and imbedded in my shoulder. I cried out in pain and fell to my knees holding my arm.

Suddenly out of nowhere, a katana comes whizzing by me, stabbing the robot in the chest, making it fall off the roof, taking the other one with him. I smile, knowing who it belonged to. "What happened?" Asked Leo. I simply shook my head, to tired to answer. The others started discussing where to go, and whether or not to take me to their 'secret lair'. "Splinter will have our heads of bringing another human to the lair!" Talked Raph. "What do we do?" Mikey asked, clearly panicking. "Take me home." I managed to get out. Donnie looked at me like I had 4 heads.

"What! You have knives in you!" He exclaimed. I smiled and looked at him. "Exactly, I have medical supplies there. Including a needle and thread. Plus it's not that far." I panted. I could feel myself going pale. Leo nodded and said: "Raph, carry her, where is it?" While Raph was picking me up, I said: "4th apartment building on Main. 7th floor. Room 718." He nodded and we started off.

Once we got there, Mikey opened the window and Raph walked in and set me on the couch so I was leaning on my good shoulder. "Where your supplies?" Asked Donnie. "In the bathroom, across from the sink, second cabinet." I said.

He came back a few minutes later, with the supplies. "Now. I have to take the star out, do you have something to bite down on?" He asked. I shook my head and said:" Mikey, go get my lether belt, it's behind my door." He nodded and ran off. Then I heard barking.

I shot up from the couch and headed to my room, where Angus was. Angus had Mikey tackled to the ground, growling in his face. Donnie was calling me while running up the stairs. I ignored him and said ever so softly. "Angus, he's a friend." The large wolf immediately stopped and turned around to face me.

"Are you ok Mikey?" I asked. He nodded, and by that point the other 3 were behind me, wide eyed. "Raph" I said reaching for the belt while trying to steady myself from falling. He stepped forward. "Yes?" I looked him in the eyes and said: "I need you, to go put Angus in his crate. It's in the spare room." He started at me for a second and nodded sharply. Then I turned to Angus and whispered. "Be a good boy." He then sat down and let Raph pet him.

I made it done the stairs and sat at a kitchen stool. "Mikey go help Raph." I said, wincing. He nodded and ran off. "He's to cute and innocent to see this." I murmured. I put the belt to my mouth and bit down, closing my eyes.

I carefully ripped my shirt off, so I was in my black sports bra, so he can get to it better. I nodded and Donnie pulled the star out. I took a sharp breath and bit done so hard there are probably teeth marks in my belt now. He then cleaned it and stitched it up.

He bandaged my arm and pulled the star out of my thigh, doing the same as my shoulder. "Leo, do you mind going into the kitchen and looking in the cabinet above the stove and grabbing me some pain killers?" I asked. He nodded and walked that way.

"Now, how did this happen?" Donnie asked, tying the knot on the bandage on my leg. I let out a little chuckle, looking down. "Let's just say, I was being stupid and should have kept walking, no matter the noise coming from an old, wore out, creepy building." He laughed and I said 'thank you'. Leo came back with the pills and a glass of water. "Thank you Leo, you can tell the other 2 to come down if you want. Oh! And to let Angus out." I said. He smiled and headed to the stairs.

I downed the pills and the water. "Well I guess we're even now." He sighs.

"What?"

"I said I guess we're even now. Cause you saved us, and then we saved you."

I laughed. "Who's keeping count?"

He raised his hand, smiling.

The other 3 came down the stairs, Angus leading. "I'm sorry Mikey, I forgot about my dog. Are you ok?" I asked concerned.

Leo handed me a shirt, and I thanked him, wondering where he got it.

He smiled and said: "it's ok dude. And I'm good!" I smiled.

"Speaking of which, how did you get up those stairs so fast?" Asked Raph.

I sighed. "Cause I was trying to get to Miley before Angus did. He's quite the intimidator." The large wolf the proceeded to lay at my feet, ears up and alert mode on. I rubbed his head.

"We have to go but we will be back tomorrow to check on your wounds. Ok?" Said Donnie. I smiled and nodded.

I smiled as they climbed out the window, except Donnie. "Thank you Donnie." I said, And kissed his cheek

I could see his face flush pink. "Y-your welcome G-Gwen." He stuttered, and jumped out the window.

I smiled and walked outside to lean on the railing, seeing their figures fade into the night.
