"Vega's got a point, isn't the transfer just formality anyway"Pollux sighed. Topaz stared in shock, her eyes wide. Arcturus stared, his eyes wide when he noticed Ruby grinning. "The point of all this is the protection Topaz! There's nowhere else Topaz can stay at the Boundary outside of Contell"Arcturus protested. "Topaz might have to sleep in the streets, you don't want that to happen, Vega, right?"Arcturus continued stepping closer. "I-"Vega mutters. Sirius held his hand up, silently getting ready to summon his gun and shoot Vega down, staring at the male. "I'LL TRY HARDER!" Everyone turned, staring in shock at the sight of Topaz. Topaz stared at them, tears falling down her cheeks. "Please"Topaz mumbles.

"You...made her cry..."Sirius says his tone turning dark for a moment. "Topaz, we're not gonna kick you out! I promise!"Arcturus says quickly. Vega stared at Topaz, then looked away. "She's technically transfer student, imagine what they'll say if they found out we just handed Topaz a certificate"Sirius says ignoring Ruby's eyws on him. "Their giant egos wouldn't even be able to stand the sight of Topaz, the thought of it already gives me a headache"Sirius went on, glancing at Topaz, his gaze calculating. He smiled when she looked at him and winked, making her perk up. "Hm..am I the only one who cam see Topaz in a supporting role with that personality?"Arcturus asks.

"How about we let her participate with the rest of us.......Ruby as well...."Arcturus suggests looking reluctant to include the redhead. "That sounds like a fancy way of saying we should use Topaz and Ruby like an amplifier stone"Vega frowned. "I assure you, Sorcerer Arcturus, that no one at Contell needs an assistant"Vega went on Arcturus looking nervous. "Please.."Topaz says. "Topaz...tink about it you'll be stuck here a while, you don't wanna make any enemies"Pollux interrupts.

"What we need is an undeniably strong reason that Topaz's role is needed in this world"Spica says. "What about Ruby?"Pollux asks. "...Ruby?"Spica asks coldly looking down at Ruby. Ruby stared in fear, noticing the silent warning he was giving her, along with the knowing look that followed. "A strong reason...that's gonna be hard, especially for an outsider"Pollux mutters. "You always have that smug look on your face when you've got a bright idea, Spica, tell us"Sirius smiled looking at him, Topaz's confused gaze visible out the corner of his eye. "The Guide Committee is an organization that holds massive responsibilities within the academy"Spica sighed. "Spica, you're not saying-"Arcturus says perking up.

"What..."Topaz asks looking desperate. "As First Sorcerer of Virgo, I hereby offer Topaz an honorary Guide Committee membership"Spica nodded. Ruby stared in shock, feeling everything shatter around her. "I'LL ACCEPT!"Topaz yells smiling in relief. "I thought this was a special organization!"Ruby yells interfering. Spica looked at her and stepped closer, Ruby freezing in fear as he loomed over her. "Special organization? I'd call that a little much...Ruby"Spica mutters staring her down, his arms crossed over his chest. Ruby stared at him, noticing the overprotective glint in his eyes and the way he was standing to shield Topaz from view. Her hands trembled, wondering why her mind control wasn't working.

"But that's not entirely inaccurate"Spica went on turning away, Ruby relaxing in relief having felt like she was gonna die. "Wait, wait! Isn't this too important for a Fifi Pfeper to decide on alone?"Pollux demanded. "...the Guide Committee is a Contell-based school organization made up of Guide sorcerers"Vega mutters. "And you, Sorcerer Spica, have used this tradition against us to force us into membership"Vega scowled. "I must ask doesn't this decision contradict every other decision you've made for the rest of us?"Vega demanded Spica narrowing his eyes. "Tradition?"Ruby says quickly, looking hopeful for a loophole. "Guide Committee members need to meet these requirements"Pollux starts off. Topaz looked down, remembering what Arcturus told her not too long ago.

"We're mostly in it because Spica forced us to join"Pollux sighed. "As you both remember, your transfers here are rare exceptions"Spica interrupted, "Your membership will be crucial part od adjusting to life as summoners here in Bound Arlyn." Ruby opened her mouth to speak but Spica glared at her. "Ruby...you'll work for Topaz, as her personal secretary"Spica says with a warning tone. "Of course, Pollux is also right to point out that the decision can't be made by Fifi Pfeper alone"Spica sighed. "Therefore, I call upon all Committee members for a formal meeting on this matter"Spica adds him and Sirius locking eyes, giving subtle nods to each other. "But some of them are out in pilgrimage.."Arcturus reminds.

"Do we have to go?"Topaz asks. "Not at all ToTo! You don't have your membership yet! So you just sit tight, far from Ruby, and wait for your results!"Sirius replied placing a hand on Topaz's back, his expression softening. "We can get 'em to use their magic tools for that, no bit dea-AHHHHH WHAT IS THAT"Polluz says. Topaz looked behind her, finding Icicle bolting towards her. Arcturus moved her behind him to shield her, looking shocked. Icicle leaped up, hopping up the males chest and over his shoulder, landing right in her arms. "Master"Icicle beamed. "MASTER?!" Topaz stared at Icicle, then hugged her familiar, careful of the mini ice spikes. Ruby stared at her, looking stunned at the sight.

"Topaz.....has a familiar....."Vega mumbles. "I-I....this was your plan all along wasn't it Spica!"Pollux demands alarmed. "I didn't know about the familiar, but the rest of this yes, it was, I couldn't risk losing an opportunity to gather everyone's voices"Spica replied startled to see the familiar. Sirius stared, then narrowed his eyed at Icicle. "I'll admit this caught me off guard, I feel right into the trap..very clever, Spica"Vega sighed. "Then this will be all, Summoner, the consequences will be yours to regret..."Vega sighed. Topaz stared at Vega, then looked down. "I'll never regret this choice, Vega"Topaz replied. Vega's eyes widened, seeing the Topaz from her second life in her place with a soft smile on her face.

He looked away, feeling his heart shatter slighty as his buried feelings for her started to break through. "Such admirable spirit, I hope the others will be as inspired as you are"Spica smiled. Topaz stared at her elder brother, then looked away, remembering the scowl she saw on his face earlier, now deciding to keep her distance from him since he still seemed to hate her even if this was a new life. She looked down, wondering if anything she did would make his dislike for her be replaced with care. "Your ideals are getting loftier by the minute, Sorcerer Spica, do jot take advantage of Topaz any further"Vega says immediately giving the other male a small glare, Spica perking up in surprise.

Spica looked at Topaz, noticing how she was keeping her distance from him. His eyes widening, remembering Sirius's words from earlier. "She will never forgive you for what you've done." He looked away, guilt rising inside him. "This won't be as easy as you think..i won't say anymore"Vega went on snapping Spica out of his thoughts, "I'll be watching, I'm interested to find out whether you manage to deliver on your promises, Summoner." Vega turned and walked away, Topaz watching as he left, wondering what that sad glint she saw in his eyes were. "Hmm...guess it's a wrap then! Thanks for the entertainment, Topaz"Sirius chuckled walking over to her. He leaned down, his mouth next to her ear, "See you tonight."

She blushed, looking alarmed as Sirius backed away. "This meeting won't take long, Topaz, we'll let you know as soon as it concludes"Spica promised stepping closer. He raised his hand and patted her head, startling her. She rubbed her head, blinking twice in surprise, surprised he patted her on her head again. She stared, watching her elder brother leave. "Well that was a lot to take in. I'm outta here. I don't wanna be late for class!"Pollux grumbled. He walked away. Arcturus sighed in relief, "At least that's one thing taken care of." She looked at him when he turned to him. "Topaz, are you alright, you must've been nervous"Arcturus asks looking at her concerned. "I'm fine, thanks Arcky"Topaz replied.

"I didn't help much ToTo, but thanks for thanking me, you're a considerate person"Arcturus chuckled smiling down at her. "Anyway, it's time to get back! I'll walk you to Neb Aula! I've got time before classes start!"Arcturus grinned taking her hand. Topaz smiled slightly, following Arcturus. Sirius stared them both down from around a corner, his eyes glowing dangerously as he stared at their held hands. Ruby frowned and walked a different way, looking irrtated. Topaz sighed, a gentle breeze blowing through her hair. Icicle beamed, looking around excitedly as she was set down on the ground. "That was the most chaotic day of my life, I can't even imagine how bad it was for you"Arcturus sighed a small smile on his face.

He looked at her, noticing her sullen expression. He grabbed her hand, intertwining their fingers as he smiled down at her. "ToTo, I know you're confused and anxious about all this..but I still hope you get good memories out of your stay here"Arcturus smiled his expression softening. "Well...what I really wanna say is..."Arcturus continued. He stopped and looked away, looking around. "...did you hear that too?"Arcturus asks. A low growl startled her, her eyes widening in fear. She looked around, Icicle bristling not far from her, as the next breeze turned into a chilling gust of wind. She screamed, spotting a giant black wolf, Icicle leaping into her arms alarmed. She stared in horror, remembering Ruby's wolf life features. "R-Ruby..."Topaz says quietly.
