Prologue

(3rd Person PoV)

"Send my son back," a tall, bald man stated as two guards wearing blue uniforms grabbed the arms of a young boy with silver hair and red glasses.

"Father no! Come back to us!" The boy cried.

The man said nothing and turned his back on him as the guards dragged him away.

"You're lucky the Professor is letting you off without a scratch," one of them hissed at the boy.

The second one placed a strap on the boy's arm and tapped something on it.

"Sending you back to Standard," he said and before the boy could protest, there was a golden flash and the boy was gone.

"Come along, Serena," the man said, turning to look for a little girl with indigo hair but she was nowhere to be found.

"Serena? Damn it, she ran away again," the man cursed.

"It's not that. I thought I saw her bracelet glow when we were sending your son back but I thought it was s trick of light because of the golden glow," one of the guards said.

"WHAT?!" The Professor roared but just then, a man wearing a lab coat walked in.

"Sir, I am afraid I have bad news," he said.

"What is it?" The Professor asked.

"I was overseeing his training when suddenly, in a blue glow, Yuri disappeared," the man with the lab coat said.

The Professor felt anger at this and tossed two tables in the air. A fragment of his dead daughter and a fragment of that monster that were under his nose, gone! Just like that!

The three men just stood by awkwardly and hoped that the Professor wouldn't hit them with a object.

"FIND THEM! SEARCH EVERY PIECE OF THIS ISLAND AND DO NOT REST UNTIL YOU HAVE FOUND THEM!" He roared at them and all three of them nodded.

They ran off and the Professor turned to look at the now ruined room.

I need to get them both back! Especially Serena or else my plan will fail! He thought, angrily.

(Meanwhile)

A man wearing a red top hat was walking around a park in the evening. His face was laced with worry.

"Yuya! Yuya, are you there? We're getting worried for you!" He called out.

No response.

"Yuzu! Are you also there? Yuya, Yuzu, where are you?" The man asked.

Still no response.

Where could they have gone? The man thought.

!

A blue glow flashed which would have blinded the man if he didn't shield his eyes with his arm and waited until it passed by.

"What was that?" He asked and carefully went over to where the glow came from.

What he found shocked him.

A little boy, around the same age as Yuya, the man presumed, wearing a purple button up shirt, white pants, brown loafers and had purple and pink hair. He was lying there in the grass and seemed knocked out.

The man raced to the boy's side, crouched down and felt his pulse.

It was faint but still there.

I got to get this kid to the hospital! The man thought before the boy began to stir.

When the boy opened his eyes, the man almost gasped in surprise.

He...he looks just like Yuya! He thought and the boy turned to him.

"Who are you? Are you another instructor?" He asked.

"Instructor? No, my name is Yusho Sakaki and you?" The man asked.

The boy sat up and studied Yusho's face. After a short bit, he tilted his head and said, "Yuri."

"Well then, Yuri. Why are you here in the park this late at night? Where are your parents?" Yusho asked.

"Don't have any," Yuri replied, quickly.

"O-oh I'm sorry," Yusho apologized but Yuri then frowned.

"What did you mean when you say park? Last I remember, I was in a training room," Yuri stated.

"Training room?" Yusho asked and Yuri nodded.

"Yeah, the Professor was having me trained to beat other duelists. It was hard but I always come out on top," Yuri explained.

"The Professor?" Yusho asked.

"Hmmm...I-I don't remember. How weird," Yuri murmured.

Yusho stared at him as Yuri then patted down his pockets before pulling a deck of cards.

"See. This is the best deck in the Academy because I'm using it," Yuri explained and held it up.

"Is that so?" Yusho asked, cautiously as Yuri held up a card. His eyes widen.

That's a Fusion monster. Now this may be a stretch but-, his thoughts were interrupted by a phone ringing.

Yuri made a noise at this as Yusho stood up and grabbed his phone.

"Sorry, I have to take this. Yes?" Yusho picked up and heard his wife's voice.

"Yusho, have you found Yuya yet?" She sounded like she was crying.

"No...no I haven't, Yoko, but," Yusho looked down at Yuri who was staring at him.

"But?" Yoko asked.

"Meet me at the hospital. I'll explain it there," Yusho told her.

"Ok," she hanged up.

"Why are you going to the hospital?" Yuri asked.

"You look drained and seems like you were knocked out multiple times. A doctor will look after your health," Yusho explained.

Yuri made a sour look at the word, 'doctor.'

"Am I just an experiment now?" He snapped.

"What, no! I'm just worried about your health because when I found you, your pulse was faint," Yusho explained.

"That'll make me stronger! I can't afford to get checked over by a doctor. That's for the weak and I'm not we-," Yuri got up quickly before feeling nauseous and wobbled in place.

His vision was blurred and he fell forward with Yusho catching him.

What type of training does he go through? Yusho thought and picked him.

"This...this is nothing. I've gone through worse and I still come out on top," Yuri murmured.

Yusho doesn't even want to know what he means by gone through worse.

He walked away and waved to get a taxi.

"The nearest hospital and quickly," he told the driver.

"You got it, Champion Sakaki," the driver said and drove off.

"Champion?" Yuri asked as Yusho placed him on the seat next to him.

"Long story," Yusho stated.

(Later)

Yoko, a pretty woman with yellow hair, walked through the doors of the hospital. She seemed to be confused as she walked to the front desk.

"Excuse me but has my husband been here?" She asked.

"What's your husband's name?" The woman at the front desk asked.

"Yusho Sakaki," Yoko replied.

The woman looked up before clicking her tongue.

"Yes, he passed by a while ago. He was holding onto a boy and said that the boy needed immediate medical attention. You should be able to see him," the woman said.

This got Yoko's hopes up.

She raced down the hallway after the woman told her what room number they were in.

Yusho sounded doubtful over the phone but at the moment, Yoko was hopeful. Was he finally home?

She arrived at the door and knocked on it. A doctor who was balding opened and asked, "Are you Yoko Sakaki?"

She nodded and the doctor said, "your husband is here. We're currently doing a check up on the boy."

That puzzled her. The boy, not son but boy.

She walked in and gasped. The boy who was sitting on the hospital bed looked identical to Yuya. Only with a different color scheme.

She looked at Yusho who was sitting on one of the chairs. He motioned to her to come and she did.

"Yusho, what's going on? Who is this and why does he look like Yuya?" Yoko asked.

"Well I found him at the park while searching for Yuya. He said that his name is Yuri and I don't know why he looks like Yuya," Yusho admitted.

Yoko said nothing but just looked at Yuri who was staring suspiciously at the doctor.

He was typing away at his computer, glancing at the clipboard before clicking his tongue.

"It seems like the boy suffers from some form of amnesia. He remembers some parts but not all like faces. He also has bruises on some parts of his body like his arms and old wounds as well. I suggest that he needs plenty of rest and fluids," the doctor said.

Yuri turned away at this and Yusho said, "amnesia?"

"Yes, you said that you found the boy in the park? Did anything else seem odd to you?" The doctor asked.

Odd? Yusho remembered the blue glow that happened before he found Yuri.

I wonder what that was all about? He thought.

Then Yoko's phone rang. She grabbed it and said, "Syuzo's calling."

Right, he was looking for Yuzu as she also disappeared alongside Yuya. Did Syuzo finally found her?

Yoko picked up and asked, "hello?"

The conversation went something like this:

"We're at the hospital right now."

"..."

"No we haven't found Yuya or Yuzu yet."

"..."

"What do you mean you kind of found Yuzu?"

"MY NAME ISN'T YUZU!"

Yoko had to held back her phone away from her ear as someone else shouted through the phone.

"A girl who looks like Yuzu, you mean?"

"..."

"Well we're in the same boat as we found someone who looks similar to Yuya."

"..."

"I told you, we're at the hospital right now. You should meet us there."

"..."

"Right, bye," Yoko hanged up. She then turned to Yusho.

"He said, he found a girl who looks similar to Yuzu. Syuzo is coming here to meet us," Yoko explained.

"So a boy that looks like Yuya and a girl that looks like Yuzu. This is getting odder and odder," Yusho admitted.

Yuri just looked at him weird.

A/N: sorry if the ending feels off, I couldn't tell what I wanted for this first chapter to end. Yeah, this was an idea I had for a while and I was wondering, what if the Yu boys and Bracelet Girls were in a dimension that was different from theirs.

This may or may not go slow depending on what I want to do with it. Hope you enjoyed it though!
