Yuya ran to where the duel was being held. He could see the huge monsters above the building and he sprinted to that direction. There were other duels around him, but he had no time to pay attention to any of them. He needed to reach his friend.

Luckily a duelist didn't stop him.

He stood behind his friend, gasping for air. "Yuzu!" He shouted when he caught his breath. Yuzu glanced behind her, surprised to see Yuya there. But before she could do anything her life points dropped to zero, and that blow knocked her down. Yuya knelt down by her side and started crying. He tried to grab for his goggles, but they weren't there. He covered his eyes, trying to get rid of his tears. When he got himself in control he opened his eyes to see that Yuzu was gone.

The duelist she was facing disappeared, too.

Yuya stood up, calling for Yuzu, but he knew that she was gone, just like everyone else. He didn't know what to do. He stood there, frozen. But, suddenly, someone came into view and they brought out their duel disk, indicating that they wanted to duel with Yuya.

Yuya's hand was shaking as he grabbed his duel disk and placed it on his arm, but before he could draw his cards, someone jumped down from the building. Their duel disk already active. "I got this!" He shouted.

He landed perfectly and pulled out his cards.

"Go!" He shouted toward Yuya, but he didn't move. He was shocked at the person in front of him. He had never seen him before, yet he felt like he knew him. He turned, his gray eyes staring at Yuya's.

"Who are you?" Yuya asked.

"Take this and go," he said, handing Yuya the goggles that Yuya didn't even know he left behind.

The second Yuya grabbed the goggles he was surrounded in darkness.

He ran forward, but he got pushed back to his original spot, landing on his butt. Yuya stayed there, having no idea what to do. He grabbed for his goggles again, out of habit. There they were, on his head, and now, covering his eyes.

He looked down and soon, the dark ground changed to images of all his friends. They were all in their own dark world, knocked out. Before he could react, he was already back to reality.

The guy with purple hair, who handed him his goggles, was gone. And so was the other duelist. He looked around, but he couldn't see anyone. Only the dark sky that had been there since all these duels had begun.

Yuya was alone.

One of his fears.

He couldn't keep himself together, staying on the ground. He pressed his palms to the ground and cried.

Yuya screamed, waking himself up in class. Everyone turned to look at him. He looked at every single one of them and saw that they were all alright. They were alive and okay!

"You guys. You're okay!" He shouted.

"Yeah...?" Yuzu replied, looking at Yuya in confusion.

"Yuzu!" Yuya said happily.

She nodded, still confused. Yuya hugged Yuzu, glad that everything was just some messed up dream. Yuzu smacked him in the head with her fan and he fell to the ground. "Ow," he said, but he was secretly happy about that.

"Yuya, please return to your seat." Shuzo said impatiently.

Yuya laughed, awkwardly, and went back to his seat.
