The next morning, Fuse and Landon went to see Dr Asuba. When they told Dr Asuba their symptoms, they noticed he seemed rather concerned.

"Doc, what's the problem?" Landon asked.

"Nothing, I honestly Can't find the source of theses glitches, nor what's really causing them. Some more medication will have to do for now, but don't worry, I'll get down to what caused these glitches, I'll call you when I have something" The Liepard said to them.

"Okay" Fuse said.

"What did you see Landon?" Asuba asked.

"I saw a house, I think it was one of those modern Düsseldorf homes in Germany, I'm not completely sure" Landon replied.

Asubas finger waved around the digital notepad in front of him, he wrote "modern house in Düsseldorf"

"Fuse what was the last glitch you had?"

"When we got to the airport, I keep seeing this female Eevee that looks like me, but she's wearing red and black earrings" Fuse said.

Asuba wrote this on his notepad, "Alright, I'll do some digging, feel free to head home now"

"Thanks doc"

"No problem" Asuba replied, then the Liepard started to look at some mechanical designs as the Pikachu and Eevee left the robotics centre, Landon was rather irritated that Asuba didn't immediately find the problem and fix them, she didn't like distractions especially ones that would hinder her ability in the field at Daedalus.

"Argh! I hate this, what if my enhancements stop working in the middle of a gunfight?" Landon said concerned.

"It has to do with our memories, not our ability to fight, I'm sure we'll be fine Landon" Fuse said.

"I hope your right she replied" She replied.

Then Landon felt her phone vibrate, she pulled it it from her pocket and saw a message from Suzuki... It was not good, it read SOS .

"Uh Fuse" Landon said.

"What...", She showed the Eevee the message, the two looked at each other with fear in their eyes and started running back to the apartment, up the steps and into their apartment... It was just what they feared, the place was a mess, broken furniture, shattered glass and a few bodies to boot. On the floor was Suzuki's phone, the holographic touch screen display flickering, the projector on the phone had taken some serious damage, Fuse picked it up and squeezed his fist. Landon saw the holes in the wall as well, signs of a shoot out. There were four bodies on the floor, one draped on the kitchen counter, another on the floor, on slumped against the wall and on by the entrance to Tybalt's room. All the corpses had guns next to them and were surrounded by blood. There was a note on the fridge that Fuse noticed, the note had an address written on it in English...

3972 Teshiano Taryuga

Fuse and Landon sat on the couch.

"Somehow I knew this was bound to happen" Fuse said, the Eevee Squeezed his fist.

"H-How did they know where we lived" Landon said, slightly in shock

"I don't know but right now we need to focus on finding those three" Fuse said, the Eevee started calling Atticus.

The Pyroar was in the middle of an international security conference when his secretary a female Umbreon got the call from Fuse walked up to him and whispered in his ear, "Aquarius 3 has been breached, 3 members of the team are missing, possibly kidnapped, Landon and Fuse are the only ones at their apartment"

Atticus stared at her as if she was mad, "You can't be serious, the homes of all our operatives are kept confidential"

"Apparently Aquarius 3 has reason to believe X is behind this" She replied.

Atticus groaned and got up from his seat, "If you excuse me I have to address an important matter, I will be back shortly, please continue the meeting"

The other Pokemon at the table continued to chat away as Atticus and his secretary walked over to his office.

"Patch me threw" Atticus commanded.

The Umbreon closed her eyes for a few seconds and opened them after a few seconds, "Done"

"Tell me it isn't true" Atticus said.

"It's very true sir, I'm sorry to say" Landon said.

"This is probably one of the worst security breaches in my time at Daedalus, who was grabbed?" Atticus asked.

"Suzi, Tybalt and Louise" Fuse replied.

Atticus arrived in his office with his secretary, the secretary sat down at her desk and turned on her computer, Atticus sat at his and opened the database, immediately he got a security breach notification, he contacted Rain 4, Aquarius 3's closest allies and then started searching for the three kidnapped agents.

"X left a note here, It's an address I think" Landon said.

"What's the address?" The secretary asked.

"Um, 3972 Teshiano Taryuga" Fuse replied.

Atticus Started typing away on the computer, he found the location in the industrial ward of Tamatsu.

"It's the abandoned GX Gun factory, built during the war between America and Venezuela, there was a machinery malfunction at the factory, ever since then the factory has remained closed" Atticus said.

"They're there, their distress beacons are on and they are there" The secretary said.

"We'll be your lookouts, start going now, now get going" Atticus commanded.

The two got on their motorcycles and started for the motorway, Atticus directed them to the factory, once they arrived though...

"Okay we're here" Fuse said, activated his Exosuit.

Landon activated her suit as well. 

"Good now..." Suddenly the line cut out, "Hello... Landon, Fuse, Hello?!... Urggh! Quinnella, attempt to reestablish contact between us"

"Yes sir" Quinnella replied, she closed her eyes.

The Pyroar picked up the phone, "Get Rain 4 over to the Industrial Ward now! Code Purple, I repeat, Code Purple"

"Sir! Hello?" Fuse said.

"General, are you there?" Landon said, "X must have cut off cell service in the area, we're toast"

"Not if we start searching, come on!" Fuse shouted.

The two used their radar to track the beacons of the missing agents, suddenly four big Pokemon appeared around them, covered in black clothing, there were enhancements in their eyes and they were carrying assault rifles, almost immediately they started shooting at them, the bullets bounced off their suits as the two ran for cover.

They ran back to their motorcycle and opened a compartment in the front, inside were P90-753's (A more futuristically enhanced version of the P90), they closed the compartment and ran out from cover.

The two opened fire and took the hostile Pokemon out in two minutes, after that they continued to follow the signal until they reached the main factory building, there was moss and ivy covering the building, outside there were pieces of burnt debris, Landon and Fuse pointed their guns around as they entered the building, they were greeted by a musty almost burnt smell as they went inside. Immediately, they were ambushed again this time by six Pokemon, One of them had a plasma launcher, however Fuse quickly shot him up before he could do any damage, Landon shot two of the Pokemon on the balcony, Fuse executed two Pokemon shooting at them, shooting them both in the leg and then in the chest, the last one suddenly appeared behind them, whacking both of them into a railing, behind them was a steep drop into the crumbling reactor.

Fuse picked Landon up and swung her around, the Pikachu activated her tail and Fuse struck the large Pokemon in the neck, the used her as a sword one more time, slashing him in the stomach, the Pokemon collapsed onto the rubbles group in a pool of blood.

Landon deactivated her tail and Fuse set her on the ground.

"Nice job" Landon said.

"Thanks, now lets go" Fuse said.

The two ran and jumped up the steps until the reached the eighth floor, finally they arrived. Standing, this time as Flareon, was X, There were computer screens all around her, too her left were the three agents, All three plugged in to some sort of device. There was leaking water dripping 

"End of the line!" Fuse shouted pointing the 753 at X, Landon doing the same.

"I was wondering when you'd come, X replied, she turned around, her left eye orange her other blue. She was wearing a white dress With a techno design and There was a bouquet on one of the televisions.

"A bride now huh? Your on a roll" Landon said, aiming the gun at her head.

"She wouldn't take it personally" X replied, she looked at the three agents struggling to get free and glaring at her.

"Let us go you punk!" Suzuki growled.

"Your conscience is sure to be deleted after this" Fuse said.

"Hm" X replied in thought, "Do you wanna know why I am a Flareon Fuse?"

"Why?" Fuse growled.

"Your grandfather was a Flareon..." X replied, "I read he was an MI6 agent, pretty outstanding at his job too"

"What the fuck are you talking about, both my parents were orphans!" Fuse said.

"That's what Lynx Corp wants you to believe" X replied, suddenly the television screens all switched to a video of Fuse as a baby, he was in London in 2050, there he was playing around with another Eevee, "Lucas! Mirren! Come here, your grandfather's here"

"Here you go little on" A Flareon said giving him a present.

Fuse's eyes went wide, Landon couldn't believe what he was seeing herself.

"Thank you gwanpa!" The little Eevee said.

Fuse saw the resemblance between the Eevee in the video and himself, "N-No this can't be right"

"It is right though... Your name is not Fuse Tarren, it is actually Lucas Farriday Winters, you were born on 16 May 2048, your mother is Emily Winters, your father is Carl Whitby. At age 3 you were abducted by the Lynx Corporation and put into a cryosleep, you were awakened in 2118 for project X1 with false memories planted in your head and enhanced to become a member of Aquarius 3"

"Your wrong" Fuse growled.

"Fuse calm down, don't let her get to you..." Landon said.

"And you little Pikachu, your name is not Landon Lane, it is actually Emma König, born on 6 July 2118 you are from Berlin, Germany and raised in Düsseldorf. You ran away from your family because your father was abusive toward you and your siblings, you joined a group a runaways and you were kidnapped in 2121 for Project X1, your memory was also erased and you too were given false memories"

"I don't have a German accent what are you talking about!? Stop spreading your lies!" Landon said.

"I don't care what you say, you cannot tell me who I was, I already know who I am!" Fuse shouted.

"That medicine you take. It's used to suppress your memories, to keep you in their control, to make you their puppets... Do you wanna know something?" X asked, she walked over to Suzuki, "I used to be a Zoroark before I discovered who I truly was, I was ripped from my mother as a teenager in 2020, put in a cryosleep and awakened in 2080 as a member of Castle 11, a special ops team performing its duties in the European Republic, then I was shot in the face during a raid, do you wanna know what happened to me after that? I remembered. I remembered all the horrible, despicable things Lynx did to me and to other kids like me. But the moment I made my brain aware they hired someone to kill me, my last memory in my original body was me plugging myself into a mall outlet in Los Angeles, I had to watch as my body was shot up on a security camera. Do you know how it feels to watch yourself, the real self die!? I spent years and years dodging and snaking away from Lynx Corp, I have taken over hundreds of bodies, gotten hundred of poor souls killed to escape Lynx, to escape Daedalus, to escape the shame, to escape the regret!! If you think I feel no remorse for doing what I do to those poor ghosts, You can think again, it pains me every day to get someone who was innocent shot, to get a father killed by an RPG, an priest murdered by a mercenary, a teacher mangled by a compactor, they don't stop hunting me, I can't even be safe anymore, I just want to be alive, to learn, to love, and eventually to die! But that was taken away from me over a century ago!"

There was almost silence as X looked down at the floor, her voice was breaking, "All I want to do is fucking live... But I can't live, the longest time I've been in somemons ghost was 2 years, 2089 to 2091, a stay at home mom, killed by Lynx Corp just to get me. She was the bestest friend, we got a long no problem... She would have still gotten to take care of her kids if she hadn't been killed on her way home from work! My point is... You don't understand the pain I'm already in... Why continue to make my pain more unbearable, and its not just me... You want the details, then start digging in the dirt!"

Suddenly a van pulled up outside, X hear it and squeezed her fist. All of Aquarius 3 was quiet as they took in what X told them.

"Wait!" Tybalt shouted.

X turned to the Riolu, "If what you say about Lynx Corp is true, does this mean..."

"You might still have family, your real families, as I told you... Dig deeper yourself"

With that X started running, "Hey!"

She turned around again, "Please... Let the poor girl go... Please" Fuse said.

X sighed, she knew the Flareons ghost was scared, afraid of what was going on so she decided to "Very well... Until next time"

The Flareon's body suddenly fell to the ground, she was gasping and gasping for air, Fuse ran over to her, Landon unplugged the others who were also feeling pretty weak.

"Wh-Where am I?" The Flareon said, shaking quite a bit.

"Your in the industrial ward" Fuse said.

"M-My wedding, where is Yazu?" She asked nervously.

"You'll see him don't worry" Fuse said.

Rain 4, a team of Eevee Evolutions arrived guns up.

"Fuse! Where is X?" A male Jolteon asked.

"She uninstalled herself from her body, she's okay, just very weak" Fuse replied.

"My husband where is he?!" The Flareon asked desperately.

"He should be down by our truck, we were investigating your disappearance prior to our arrival here" A female Vaporeon replied.

The bride and Aquarius 3 were taken down the steps, the Flareons groom, a male Arcanine in a black tuxedo tapping his foot nervously was waiting.

"Yazu!" She shouted running toward the Arcanine.

"Essa!" He said, running toward her.

The two shared a hug as the Flareon cried and shook in his arms.

"It's okay, your fine now, shhh shhh" He said wiping his face a little, then the Arcanine kissed her forehead and rubbed her head

The bride and groom were driven back to the chapel to continue their marriage, meanwhile, Aquarius 3 arrived home to clean up the mess in their home. Fuse and Tybalt were hanging out on the balcony, Landon and the girls were in the house sleeping.

"X has to be right" Fuse said.

"What do you mean?" Tybalt replied.

"That child looked too much like me" Fuse said back, "I don't think Lynx has been telling us the truth, which means, they are the ones we should be investigating, not X"

"Hm... Hey Fuse" Tybalt said.

"Yeah?" Fuse replied.

Tybalt hugged him, "Thanks for saving us"

Fuse smiled, "We are family after all"

Tybalt let go of him, "So what are we gonna do about it?"

"Do exactly what X said... Dig in the dirt" Fuse replied looking up at the moon.
