Aquarius 3 arrived back in Tamatsu the next day, reporting to their head of operations the moment they arrived.

"She hacks into civilian bodies?" The Pyroar said.

"Yes sir, that would be accurate to say," Suzuki said.

The Pyroar looked over at Fuse who had a tired look on his face, "Lieutenant"

Fuse snapped back to reality, "Yes sir?"

"You have been like that since you arrived, what's bothering you?" He asked.

"I shot a civilian X hacked into... I had to watch her suffer as she died" Fuse said.

Landon looked back at him worried about his emotional state, "Fuse, we make mistakes in the field all the time, and unfortunately in this day and age, civilians will die in some situations. At least 40% of operatives here have shot and killed a civilian, hacked or not, please do no take this to a point where we have to wipe the memory from your head"

"Please do not" Fuse said.

"Then move on," The Pyroar said bluntly, he sighed, "Anything else?"

"Both in London and in New York, X has tried to make us believe Lynx Corp is the reason she is doing all this, the terrorist attacks, hacking Arise 1 in Berlin, she trying to tell us something," Louise said.

"She's a criminal... You have no reason to believe anything she says" Tybalt said.

"Same" Landon replied, twiddling with her fur braid.

"Go home, if you have anything else to tell me, give me a call," The Pyroar said.

"Yes, Gen. Atticus," Aquarius 3 said in unison.

With that Atticus got his tablet and left for his office.

Aquarius 3 arrived back at their flat and unpacked their things, later that night while Suzuki and Tybalt watched a history documentary about The American-Venezuelan War in 2079 and while Louise did some calibration with their Exo-suits and weapons, Fuse cleaned his weapons and his Exo suit. Landon had already finished so she peaked in Fuse's room.

"Hey," Landon said.

"Hey," Fuse said with no emotion.

"You're still shaken up?" Landon said.

"It's not that I am, I just feel so guilty" The Eevee replied sitting on the bed.

"Can I sit with you?" Landon asked.

"Sure" Fuse replied.

Landon sat on the bed as Fuse looked down at his feet. There was silence in the air for a moment, she wrapped her arms around him, "Its over, we all know it was an accident, stop beating yourself up for it"

"It's kinda hard not to think about it Landon, it really is" Fuse replied, the Eevee sighed and looked out the window.

"I think I'm gonna go to see Dr Asuba" Fuse said, "I think he's the only one right now who might be able to help us with the glitches"

"Hm," Landon said, "Well it's too late now, how about tomorrow?"

"Yeah, I know its too late" Fuse said, "Good Night"

Then he noticed Landon looking out the window she was staring at a German house on a hill, then it glitched away, "Landon, are you okay?"

"I had a glitch... I guess I'll go with you" Landon said.

"That's fine," Fuse said.

Landon sighed and started for the door, "Hey Landon"

The Pikachu turned around, "Thanks for sitting with me, I appreciate your company, especially when I need someone to talk to... Good Night"

Landon blushed, "No problem" she stuttered.

She left the room and went to plug herself in and sleep for the night, she laid awake, the kind words from the Eevee still echoing in her head.

"He's so nice," She said.

Then she started to wonder what that glitch was about. Why did she see that house did it have to do with her past? Why was everyone having glitches? Little did she know, the past that shadowed over them was not all it seemed.
