Seoul

I had just finished my homework so I decided to check my SNS. An email notification popped up and I didn't think anything of it until I saw the address- it was from Big Hit. I had to stop myself from squealing as I read that I had passed the audition and would be a trainee for a girl group that would debut.

"Bang PD nim is still busy so please take a seat," one of the employees led me to a room.

"Thank you," I bowed and sat down once she had left. The door was transparent and I could make out movements in the room across the corridor, that door being glass also. Curiosity got the better of me and I tiptoed to get a better view- people were dancing. I'm sure I could sneak a glimpse and return to the waiting room before the CEO showed up.

Willing my sneakers not to scuff the wood and make a noise, I stood before the door and saw seven teenage boys practicing an especially tough choreography. The bass of the hip hop track gave me a clue as to the concept of their debut. Their breaths fogged up the glass, rendering the mirror obsolete for its purpose of reflecting their images.

"So you've met the boy band that will change the world, Bangtan Sonyeondan," a strict voice tore me away from the mesmerising sight. I nearly jumped out of my Converse but bowed instead.

"My apologies for spying on them," I added.

"No need to say sorry, Eunbi," the senior man shook his head. "If anything, I should apologise to you for making you wait. My name, as you probably gathered, is Bang Sihyuk."

"Thank you for the email," I smiled, recognising him as the CEO.

"Follow me to sign your contract," the portly man indicated that we return to the office across BTS's practice room, the documents in his hand.

I was officially introduced to Seokjin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Namjoon, Jimin and Taehyung. They were my oppa's. Jeongguk was the same age I was so we got along best.

"You seem kind of familiar," he remarked when I introduced myself.

"I attend SOPA," I reminded him.

"Hmmm, if you were in my class, I'd definitely have better attendance," the idol pursed his lips as he mused. Before I could respond, Bang PD then called me to meet one of my fellow trainees so I bowed and walked away.

I was pleasantly surprised to find my childhood friend, Hwang Eunbi.

"How long have you been training here?" I hugged her immediately.

"Almost four years!" she then told me about the trainee life. "I know how tough things will get so I promise to be your shoulder to cry on."

"Thank you," I squeezed her hand, before we started talking about our families and school.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" my fellow trainee smiled.

"Nope," I shook my head vehemently. "But if anyone from the Twilight series asked me out, I wouldn't say no."

"Team Jacob or Edward?" I envied Eunbi's pronunciation of their names- she was highly proficient in English, which would no doubt come in handy if we promoted internationally.

"Both?" I laughed, and she shook her head at my indecision. One of the vocal coaches appeared and asked to meet with me so I followed her to a training room.
