Aurora POV

"Guys are disgusting, disrespectful, and have no morals." I say as soon as I walk inside with grandpa behind me.

"What makes you say that?" Grandma asks from the sofa where she was.

"I lost count of how many guys asked me out today and let's not mention not one gave me their name." I say rolling my eyes taking a seat next to her.

"It's times like this I miss AJ." I say sighing.

"You'll do fine tomorrow. Why don't you let some of that steam out in training?" She asked and I smiled nodding more than ready for a good fight.

"Yes please!" I say getting up making the two of them chuckle.

"Hi Liz." I say smiling at her when I see her during lunch taking a seat in front of her. Today went so much better than yesterday at least, boys have stayed away from me at least, yet I've felt eyes on me all day.

"Uh, hi." She said looking awkward.

"Ok did I do something wrong?" I ask as I look into her eyes, I could tell she was keeping something from me.

"No, why would you ask that?" She asked making me raise a brow.

"First I should tell you that I'm a great judge of character and I can read between the lines. People haven't stopped looking at me and muttering or gossiping with each other and now I come here and you're all awkward and I can also tell you're hiding something from me." I say crossing my arms as I look at her.

"It's.. it's not something you did, and I can't tell you." She says making me sigh.

"Fine, I have no interest in finding out what you're hiding from me we all have our secrets but at least let's not change our friendship. Honestly the only thing keeping yesterday from being the worst day ever was you." I say making her give me a small smile.

"You know you talk different than us." She says as I tilt my head.

"I do?" I ask her as she nods.

"Yeah, you speak really proper compared to us but you don't really have an accent." She said.

"Well I do speak a variety of languages even though English is the most used to me. But I guess you're right I do speak more properly than most people here." I say shrugging my shoulders it's not like I can help it, mom has thought me everything I know seeing as dad had to train AJ. Yes we sometimes changed trainers but training with mom and dad was very different seeing as I'm a girl and AJ a guy so honestly training has to be made for us as that.

"You speak more than one language? You're really smart." She says making me smile.

"Thanks." I say just as someone sat next to me and I look at the person just for my eyes to meet midnight black ones, some of his black straight locks fell to his eye as the rest was slick back naturally by probably his fingers messily, his features were sharp and sexy, broad shoulders, strong chest that you could see even through his black t-shirt. His arms were ripped just enough for him to look hot and sexy without taking it too far. There was no doubt he was attractive, now for the test.

"Hi, I'm Xavier Black. What may your name be?" His voice was an in between raspy and silky making my knees weak even though I was sitting. His eyes were so black and intense I didn't know how to act.

"I'm Aurora Curry." I say extending my hand for him to shake and he took it placing a kiss on it as I feel my cheeks blush. I see Brandon and Rayan sit down next to Liz as she watched me.

"I heard there had been a girl turning down guys like it was nothing, but now that I look at you I can tell why." He says making me smile at him as he lets go of my hand.

"Well at least you know how to treat a lady." I say making him chuckle.

"Of course, a lady as beautiful as you deserves nothing less than respect and admiration. I'm sorry if boys of this school disrespected you in any way." He says looking in my eyes and I tilt my head to the side while looking at him. His eyes are showing so many things right now, admiration, lust, and.. love? He's almost looking at me as if I was the only woman in the world for him.

"It's not your fault." I say giving him a smile.

"You have very unique eyes, absolutely beautiful and enchanting much like your beauty." He says making me chuckle.

"Thank you, yours are very special as well." I say making him smile.

"So where are you from?" He asks and I open and close my mouth not knowing what to say.

"Where's the fun in taking the mystery away?" I say instead giving him a smirk.

"Oh come on you're keeping something as simple as where you're from to yourself?" He asks and I nod.

"That's right." I say.

"Ok then can I get your phone number?" He asks and I tilt my head.

"Phone number?" I repeat not knowing what he's talking about.

"You know that thing you use to communicate with one another? Text, call?" I shake my head.

"I'm afraid I don't have such device." I say making his eyes widen.

"Ok now you're just messing with us." He says as Liz interrupted.

"I'm actually starting to think you're from another world Aurora, I mean you didn't know what a lockers purpose was, you look at things in this school so curiously, you didn't even know what pizza is." She says with a laugh.

"Really?" Xavier asks looking at Liz as she shyly nodded.

'Sis.' My head snapped forward feeling my eyes fog over as AJ's voice sounded in my head like it always happens when we managed to communicate when we're away from each other.

'Yes?'

'Dad asked for you to come here as soon as possible, but I guess you're in school right now right?'

'Yes.'

'I'll go get you to that school then and lead you to the place we are to go for a meeting with some other creatures after dad takes me to the place first.'

'Alright, I only have three more classes and I'm out.'

'I'll be waiting outside, I'll make sure to tell grandfather where you'll be seeing as I'll have to ask him for directions.'

'Thanks, I'll se you then AJ, love you.'

"Calling for Aurora." I blinked waking up from that trans and look at Liz that was waving her hand in front of me.

"Sorry I just spaced out." I say giving a small smile.

"You're weird." She says and I chuckle.

"I can live with that." I answer.

"Can I invite you out today? Maybe dinner?" Xavier asked while looking at me.

"I'm really sorry but I have plans already." I say giving him a guilty smile before getting up as the bell rang and I almost ran to my class.
