Aurora POV

"Hi!" I jumped and looked at the girl standing there, she had black hair with bright blue eyes and her skin was slightly tan, she looked beautiful and didn't seem like she had anything on her face like some girls in this school.

"Uh, hi." I say surprised making her chuckle.

"I'm Elizabeth but most people just call me Liza or Liz." She said extending her hand.

"Aurora." I say taking her hand in mine shaking it politely.

"That's a beautiful name, I love what you did with Brandon by the way." She says making me raise a brow.

"I'm sorry, who?" I ask making her giggle.

"Brandon the guy you just turned down?" She says.

"Oh, he was asking me out and hadn't even given me his name and he calls me a bitch." I say shaking my head.

"And by the way why do you use lockers?" I ask looking at her as he looks at me weird.

"It's to put our heavy books and stuff we don't need in the bag at all times.. have you never used a locker before?" She asked.

"Not really no." I say closing it again.

"I don't find a real use to it." I say.

"You will with gym cloth and some assignments." She says as I nodded.

"Can I see your schedule?" She asked and I nodded handing it to her having already memorized it.

"This way." She said leading the way as I look around memorizing where we're going.

"I really like your hair by the way." She says making me smile.

"Thanks." I say as she hands me my schedule back.

"Nice bracelet." She says as I put my other hand over it.

"And it's really cool your parents let you have a tattoo." She continued to throw things at me as I didn't know how to answer not being accustomed to people complementing things that were normal for me.

"You seem very confused." She said and I nod.

"I'm not used to someone talking so much of my appearance so I'm sorry if I really don't know how to react." I say awkwardly.

"Oh, I'm sorry. It's just you're so pretty, how can no one complement you?" She asked making me chuckle.

"Maybe because they know better than to do so." I say.

"Why?" She asked as we made it to a classroom.

"Well I have a badass twin always by my side and guys know better than to mess with me." I say looking around.

"You have a twin?" She asked and I nod as nothing.

"He had to stay back but I'm sure I can handle myself just perfectly." I say as a bell rang.

"Shit, I'll be here when class finishes to take you to your next class." She said before almost running away.

~Lunch~ 

"So how has your day been so far?" Liz asked as I look at what she calls pizza and watching her eat it.

"Different and annoying all at once. I swear I've never appreciated my brother enough for keeping guys away." I say imitating the way she was eating, this is actually really good.

"I know what you mean." She says with a laugh just as the cafeteria went quiet with whispers and some squeals.

"Speaking of the devil." She says as I turn to look at the doors to see a hot guy with midnight black hair and bright blue eyes like Liz. He was really hot compared to all the guys in this school and he had one of the guys that have tried to ask me out today by his side. His eyes land on me and he smirks walking my way.

"So you're the new girl who keeps turning every guy down? What, is no one here good enough for you?" He asks as he takes a seat next to me while the other one sits on my other side.

"Is this suppose to intimidate me?" I ask seeing as I had him and the one Liz called Brandon at my sides.

"Maybe." He says making me roll my eyes.

"Too bad it's not working." I say as I finished the pizza.

"It's really hot here and the two of you sitting next to me with that out of this world heat are not helping." I say getting up rolling my eyes.

"Liz do you have a hair band? I'm afraid I left mine home, I didn't think to bring one." I say as she nods giving me a hair band.

"Thanks." I smile at her taking a seat next to her.

"Are you lesbian?" I blinked as Liz looked at him in disbelieve.

"Rayan!" She said to her brother.

"Excuse me?" I ask raising a brow at him.

"What? You refuse to go out with any guy and prefer to stay by my sister." He says.

"Well considering she was the only one nice enough to offer her name before commenting on anything else I do believe I prefer her company over a guy who's rude and full of himself insulting me for refusing a date without even knowing their name. Or a guy who doesn't know what no and fuck off means. So yes I do like Liz as a friend seeing as she was the only nice one here." I say quite rudely to him as Liz laughed gasping surprised all together.

"Who do you think you are talking to me-"

"You just prove my point now didn't you? You don't even know my name, and you haven't given me yours, you asked if I was lesbian based on the fact that boys of this school are pigs that know no respect nor morals and snap when someone puts them in their place by telling the truth." I say tilting my head raising a brow at him.

"I don't come from a place nor family that let ourselves be pushed around so don't expect me to keep things to myself when you're being rude." I say glaring at him. AJ would've probably kicked his ass by now.

"Damn Ray, you found your match." Liz says smiling as our eyes stay glaring at each other.

"What is a small girl like her gonna do?" He says almost glaring at Liz.

"Plenty I can assure you that, I wouldn't recommend getting me angry or else things get ugly." I say getting up as the bell rang glaring at him.

"Are you still showing me to my next class, Liz?" I ask her nicely as she nods.

"Of course." She says getting up with me.
