Kaldur walked out of a Zeta Tube, Percy on his heels. She took longer strides so she could walk beside him.

The two of them began talking in Ancient Greek and walked towards the living room.

"So those two are dating? Never would have guessed." Connor shook his head.

"It's kinda weird though. Unless they got into an argument before..." I trailed off.

"What are you thinking Robin?"

"Maybe Percy didn't want him to become Aqualad, or...I don't know. I overheard Batman and Aquaman talking and he said something about they come as a pair."

"Maybe they're not actually a couple?"  Megan suggested.

"Doubt it, when I went to get them before the mission they were staring into each others eyes all lovey-dovey." Wally sighed. "Speaking of which, do we know why Klarion just put us in a dream scenario instead of just killing us?"

"It's Klarion, he probably got bored and wanted to save us for later." I shrugged before yawning.

I pulled up a clock and groaned. Bruce said to be home by six and it's almost seven.

"What is it Robin?" Megan floated beside me.

"Batman is going to kill me. I'll see you guys-"

"Or! We could just say we're having a sleepover." Wally grinned. A similar smile appeared on my face, but it soon vanished as a video screen appeared.

"Robin, return to the Batcave immediately. I have something I need you to do."

Percy

I sighed and slipped out of my jacket. "How long should we continue this?"

"Until we get bored." Kaldur said, not moving from my bed.

I rolled my eyes and put a turtleneck on. I did do just in time because an Iris Message appeared in front of us.

"You two are not planning anything are you?" Orin asked.

"No my king. Do you require us?" I asked.

"There have been several attacks on the Wayne Family recently. The last attack took out the security system. Batman would normally assign this type of thing to the whole Team, but I feel having the entire Team may show there is a weakness. So I want the two of you to Zeta to Gotham and head to Wayne Manor, Robin will meet you there. You will only be there for the night as the system will be repaired first thing in the morning."

"We will be there shortly my king." Kaldur saluted before cutting through the message. He sighed. "You know he is serious when he uses an Iris Message, the Waynes must be in danger."

"Gotham is in New York correct?" I tilted my head.

"Yes. Are you wearing that or-"

"I think civilian clothes would be more practical if we do not wish to draw attention to ourselves." I interrupted, pulling off my turtleneck. "But it may be advantageous to wear our uniforms beneath."

I pulled out a jacket, not the one from earlier, and a pair of leggings along with my top. I quickly changed into them.

Kaldur had worn his top underneath his jacket, so he was already prepared.

"Are you leaving the waterpack?" I gestured to it where it was sitting on my dresser.

He stared at it for a moment. "We should be fine. After all, you are coming along."

"Okay, come on. We do not want to leave the Waynes in danger as we talk."

The two of us walked to the Zeta Tube.  Nobody was in the room when we left.

It was raining in Gotham, something that caused me to smile. We have a source of protection if we need it while we make our way to-

"Do you have the address?" I looked at Kaldur.

He nodded and pulled out his phone. He shoved it back in his pocket before leading the way.

We walked in silence, trying to blend in as best as we could. I eventually wrapped my hand around Kaldur's arm and moved closer.

"I am not going to force you to speak of it, but why have you been...clingy is the closest word I can think of. The only time I remember you acting this way is when we were very young."

"You forget of the time when we were fourteen." I mumbled.

"This way." He pulled me towards a gate.

Before we could press the buzzer, the gate opened, allowing us access to the estate.

I looked at Kaldur and shrugged before walking up the driveway.

When we reached the door, that too opened before we could ring the doorbell.

"You must be Aqualad and Aquagirl. Please come in."

"Alfred have you- oh hi. Who are you?" A boy with black hair asked. I narrowed my eyes as I stared at him.

The way he holds himself...I feel as though I have seen it before.

Kaldur elbowed me. "Do not be rude. I am Aqualad and this Aquagirl. We will be staying here until the security system is repaired."

"We just got-"

"Sorry, I would have been at the gate to greet you, but my ward here thought it would be funny to lock me in my bathroom during a meeting." A man I recognized as Bruce Wayne walked down the stairs. "Dick, these are the heroes I was telling you about."

Realization dawned on his face. "Forgot about that. Nice to meet you." He held out his hand for us to shake.

"You have tattoos? That's so cool." He held onto my hand to look at them.

"The are skin icons that enable my sorcery." I smiled gently pulling my hand away. "I am guessing your name is short for Richard?"

"Yep, but-"

"Thank you for your time Bruce." A familar man walked down the stairs, followed by an even more familar redhead.

Before Rachel could see me I looked at Dick. "Is there a bathroom I could use?"

"Down the hall."

"Thank you." I rushed in the direction he had pointed, and I did not hear her call out to me so I should be in the clear.

I used the restroom, and stared at my face in the mirror after I washed my hands. I sighed. I cannot use the Mist to change my appearance to her.

It is hard enough to keep my Atlantean identity from her at camp. At a place where I could pass certain things off as pranks or curses.

My gaze moved to my hands, to my webbed fingers. I know they are odd, and one would think they would get in the way, especially with the fact I usually wear jackets with the thumb holes in order to hide my tattoos at camp and similarly with how Kaldur and I sleep. But the webbing is very elastic to allow for a full range of motion, meaning we can do most of the same things as Earthers.

Aside from that, the Mist helps me hide this from demigods, monsters, and mortals alike. Except for those who are unaffected by it.

A knock on the door snapped me out of my thoughts.

"She is gone." Kaldur's voice drifted through the wood. "A friend of yours?"

"She is the host of the Oracle of Delphi." I opened the door and walked out.

He chuckled softly. "I suppose you would be upset if I had told her who you are?"

"You did not!"

His laughter grew louder. "I did not tell her. Now come on, Mr Wayne has graciously allowed us to sleep in the rooms across from him and his ward."

"You are lucky."

"That is you. I am the smart one."

"Who scored higher on the battle strategy exam?" I laughed and walked up the stairs after Kaldur.

He paused and looked down at me. "Dick was sent to a friends house for the night and Robin is using the room next to his."

He then continued to walk through the maze of hallways, somehow finding his way to the rooms.

"How did you know where to go?" I asked.

"Alfred wrote instructions." He showed me a piece of paper with carefully written directions on it.

"You finally asked for directions?"

"I am not our teacher." A smile crossed his face and he pressed a kiss to my forehead. "I am willing to ask for help in matters where I am helpless. Goodnight. I will be next door."

I rolled my eyes and opened the door to the guest room.

I took off my jacket and laid down. It is weird knowing Kaldur and I are on good terms but we are not sleeping in the same room.

I drifted off to a restless sleep, clutching a pillow like a lifeline.

I slept for a few hours before a scream woke me up.

I shot out of my room and headed for the source... the third guest room. Opening the door, I was prepared for a fight. What I was not prepared for was a trembling Robin with tears streaming down his face, mumbling in a language I did not understand.

A frown settled on my face as I walked over to his bed. I sat down and placed a hand over his. "Are you okay?"

He sniffed and wiped away the tears falling from behind his mask. "I'm fine."

My eyes were trained on his face. I doubt he can truly see me, I can only see him as a result of being Atlantean.

"I have said that enough times to know it is a lie. I also know it will do no good to press you on the matter so do you wish to talk about it or be distracted from it?"

He stared at me in disbelief, before he uttered one small word. "Distract."

"Okay, do you wish to hear about Atlantis?"

He nodded.

"Atlantis is split into many different city-states, of which Poseidonis is the capital. Kaldur and I were both born in Shayeris. It is fairly cold as we are on the ocean floor, and darker as well so we Atlanteans tend to have better eyesight than surface dwellers." I said, gently pulling Robin towards me. I continued to talk about nothing important until he was nearing sleep again.

"I will let you-" I cut off as a hand caught my arm.

"Can you stay in here? Please?" He mumbled. "It's okay if you don't want to...I'm just not very traught right now."

"Of course." I laid down next to him, allowing him to press his body close to mine.

I laid awake until I was sure he was asleep, then I finally allowed myself to drift off.

Orin

"Orin, I don't think this is a good idea." Dinah looked at me.

"It's for her own good."
