The last thing she remembered was a huge gust of wind coming out of nowhere. In the girl's restroom. Erica woke up looking at a huge room. There were control panels, no windows, a ton of light coming from what seemed like nowhere, and Lightning Strike with Morgan 'Metal Bird' hovering over her.

 "Do you think she's OK?"Lightning Strike/Allison questioned with panic. "You gave her too much of a blast Iron Wing!" Iron Wing? Lightning Strike/Allison was out of control. Her hands were making remote-control helicopters out of pipes and wires. Her hair was sparkling with... Lightning? Erica wondered.

 "Don't worry." Iron Wing/Morgan said reassuringly "We will have her awake in no time. We'll explain everything and teach her how to control her water powers. I already made sure that the mortal world thinks that she is in California with her family on vacation. Although, when she learns to control her powers she needs a superhero name." Lightning Strike/Allison looked so annoyed she dropped her pipe-wire helicopter. 

"WE TALKED ABOUT THIS IN THE SKY MORGAN! IT WILL BE AQUA SURFER BECAUSE SHE HAS WATER POWERS! DUH!!" Lightning Strike/Allison yelled.

 " Wait," Erica said. "So my best friends are superheroes, I have water powers, and you guys captured me in a girl's restroom?" Iron Wing/Morgan looked like she could do anything with a smug look on her face.

 "As I said, I can explain. We all have powers and secret identities. As do you. Allison has a computer brain, lightning powers, and is able to open portals. I am the daughter of a science experiment gone wrong. My parents, who went missing when I was born, were being used to morph. As in turning them into metal birds. It didn't turn out right. But when I was born, I was half human, half iron bird. As for Alison's parents, we don't know who they are."

 It turns out, the rest of the explaining took all day. Erica's parents didn't die at birth, they were eaten by crystal sharks. The crystal in Erica's necklace is her only connection to them.
