Erica had a great Christmas break! Aunt Nancy and Erica had a holiday-themed girl's day. They got Christmas nails, went to the mall, and saw 'A Dog's Purpose' in the theatres. Although, nothing lasts forever.

 When Erica got back to the underground lair, Morgan/Iron Wing and Lightning Strike/Allison looked concerned.

 "What's wrong?" Erica asked. 

Lightning Strike/Allison said, "Time for your first mission Aqua Surfer. We are coming with you. Three undefeated villains have come to kill us. This is our time to fight. Everything you've trained for.... Starts now." Iron Wing/Morgan folded her wings. Ellie has never seen her like that before.

 "Our first villains," said Iron Wing/Morgan, "Are 'The Morpheus'. No one has ever defeated them before. Until now. You have water powers, so you can melt them. But they can turn into anything. Even your greatest fear." Woah. I don't like the sound of that. My greatest fear is blood. No way can I handle that. Erica thought.

"But..." she stammered. "They've never been defeated before! How can we defeat them now?" Allison/Lightning Strike and Iron Wing/Morgan didn't answer. 

But a voice said, "You just have to face your fear." A girl about twelve stood before Allison/Lightning Strike, Iron Wing/Morgan, and Erica/Aqua Surfer. She looked like a living shadow. Her dress was made of mist. Her hair and eyes were black. Her skin was pale white, and she was floating in midair. 

"I greet you. I am here to stand by on your odyssey. I have gone against 'The Morpheus' as well as the other villains you will face. I can tell you their weaknesses." So a living shadow came to help us. Sweet!

Erica asked, "What's your name?" In the air with a creepy black fog, she spelled, SHADOW. That was a really cool name compared to Erica, Allison, and Morgan. Lightning Strike/Allison pushed in front of Erica/Aqua Surfer.

 "Can you really help us defeat 'The Morphers?" asked Lightning Strike/Allison. Shadow nodded. Erica guessed she didn't talk much.
