Mrs. Stone
"Wake up Eleanor," Shadow said startlingly. No one called her Eleanor. In fact, Ellie hadn't even told Shadow her real name.
"How do you know my name?" Ellie asked curiously. Her face must've been real good, because Shadow gave a hearty laugh.
"Today, you will be facing the greatest villain. Although, I will not be able to help you." Shadow inclined. "Really? Why?!" Ellie said. Louder than she meant to. Shadow had a concerned look on her face.
"None that you need to be informed of," Shadow answered, and then left the room with a suspicious, yet worried, looking face. Ellie looked around. There wasn't much furniture, just her cot and desk. On that small desk, sat the bone hammer, glinting a reddish, bluish-white in the morning sunlight. Ellie got her powers warmed up, grabbed the bone hammer, and walked out to the living room.
Analise and Madison were standing there too, ready for battle. Ellie could see behind them Shadow, floating on her cloud of mist. "It is time," she said grimly. Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
Iron Wing asked very confused, "Umm... do villains ring doorbells?" Ellie answered the door.
A lady completely made of rock was standing in front of her. Her legs were made of polished granite, her torso was made of a giant river stone, her arms were made of polished andesite, her head was made of diorite, and her eyes and mouth were made of lava rocks. "May I come in?" she asked, in a raspy voice.
Shadow mouthed from behind Iron Wing and Lightning Strike, 'Mrs. Stone.' Mrs. Stone disappeared from in front of Aqua Surfer and reappeared behind her. Aqua Surfer quickly turned around. Aqua Surfer tried shooting water at her but she just appeared somewhere else. She couldn't keep up. She looked at Iron Wing. Iron Wing looked at Lightning Strike. A silent plan formed through all of their minds. While Mrs. Stone was focused on confusing Aqua Surfer, Iron Wing and Lightning Strike tiptoed to the other side of the room. Aqua Surfer shot water at Mrs. Stone. She missed, but Mrs. Stone appeared right where she needed to be. From behind, Lightning Strike zapped her with lightning. Iron Wing summoned a huge gust of wind, blowing unconscious Mrs. Stone to Aqua Surfer. She grabbed the hammer out of her pocket, and jabbed it into Mrs. Stone's river stone chest. The hammer sunk in, dissolving Mrs. Stone. They all cheered so loud, Madison bet China could hear them.
They celebrated into the night. Iron Wing took Ellie home on her wings, and Aunt Nancy was so happy to see Ellie. "Oh, you're home!!" Aunt Nancy cried happily. "I thought we would never be able to finish reading Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth!" Ellie laughed so hard she cried. She had a great week after that. 7th grade math was amazing, and so was California.
