10: What Is It?

Once upon a time, Jungkook didn't know if someone of his kind were ever capable of feeling love for one another.

His biological parents clearly are out of the equation, and his adoptive parents are questionable - they had a good unity while raising Jungkook, even when they did miss their previous life before he came into the picture, but who knows if they felt genuine love, or found him as the hope for their past sins.

Jungkook never really did question it, after all, they weren't like him. They were just hitmen, they just knew how to kill anyone of Jungkook's kind. Truthfully Jungkook never did feel any type of attachment to people before, mainly because he knew he was different.

Well, until he met Lisa.

It'd be too bold to say he fell in love with her, but the two held a teamwork that was so successful while working in the agency together. She knew how to crack Jungkook out of his shell, and Jungkook enjoyed always challenging her when they'd go one-on-one together.

She was the first person that made him feel normal.

Lisa made him feel something close to a human being.

That was then, the old memories Jungkook can remember, but now..... Nothing is the same.

As previously mentioned, everything about her is different; her politeness, attentive to his behavior, even being apologetic when he's upset - which is something Lisa used to never do because she hates apologizing. Little habits are not the same as well, she's just so... Robotic.

The more Jungkook is around her, the more unease it makes him feel. Even when he tried to recall old jokes or memories, Lisa just didn't seem.... There.

She wasn't there.

It's not his Lisa.

Even as he put her down on the mat - for the fifth time now - during this combat practice, Lisa didn't even try to fight him back.

It was pissing him off by this point.

Sitting down on the mat beside her, Jungkook rubs his head with a hand and watches as Lisa sits up calmly, flashing him a flushed smile.

Her smile that once used to be filled with so much giddiness and mischief is now empty.

Lisa...

Jungkook drops his hand to rest it on his knee, his stare firmly to her, "You're not really Lisa, are you?"

This made Lisa furrows her eyebrows, head tilted to the side, "What? Of course I am -"

"Then why are you not her?" Jungkook huffs exasperatedly, "You don't act like my Lisa, or talk to me like her - you don't even try to fight back -"

"Well because I don't want to hurt you -"

"This is what I mean!" Jungkook grunts angrily, getting to his feet, "There's something inside me.... Something is telling me that this isn't right. I look at you and I.... Why can't I wrap around my head that you're here in front of me right now? And I can't understand why."

Lisa is silent as Jungkook spoke, and he looks back to her - seeing her still on the ground, "Something isn't right here, and it's driving me insane. Even when our son died, you didn't even.... Grieve... Our son Lisa."

Now to her feet, Lisa is holding onto such a deep frown with those crystalline eyes, and she hesitated before placeing a hand on his shoulder, "I... I didn't mean to hurt you with my behavior I just -" Lisa's face twitches, confusion now flashing her eyes as her gaze falls to the ground, "I don't remember a lot of things."

Jungkook now looks at her, seeing for the first time some type of emotion on her face. It's hard to distinguish what it really was, but it was something that for once made her look a little more human - right as she looks at him again, "I want to be a good wife to you, but seeing you like this makes me upset. So, I want to know, how was I like from your eyes?"

The memories of Lisa poured into Jungkook's head like an open fountain, and he couldn't find it in himself to feel this rage he felt before, "You hated when I would complement you, either because you didn't like it or you thought it was cringy, I don't know," His voice traces away, focusing intently on those memories, "You ate without caring how you'd look. Oh, don't even get me started when we'd train! You were so competitive, and you always manage to find your way to put me down - and that says a lot since I'm not easy to knock off."

Jungkook was too busy now twitching a smile to even notice the tears that whelmed his eyes, his heart now feeling heavy, "It wasn't planned for you to get pregnant, after all, it was just a one-night stand to lure me into Oasis, but I stayed here for you. I wanted to be with you, since you were the only one who was ever able to make me feel something close to normal. I loved the idea of us building a family, since you became my best friend."

Placing a hand on his weary heart, Jungkook's lips wobbled because of the darker path his memories took, "And.... Y-You loved our son. You did so much. A-and we would complain over names, and you would say how special he was..... As he was.... Slowly.... Killing you?"

A new memory fogged over Jungkook's head, a memory that seemed so hazed and almost like some imaginary thought, but it was there - even if it didn't seem real: Of Lisa slowly losing her strength day by day because of the child who could produce radiation. Watching as she fought hard to stay standing as months grew closer, all the way until...

Until...

Furrowing his eyebrows, Jungkook looks back to Lisa, confused, "How.... Did you survive?"

Lisa was staring at him with tears vividly in her eyes, and Jungkook has no idea whether he set her off by saying something he shouldn't have or she's just more emotional to something else, but then Lisa wipes the tears away with her shakily hand.

"I'm sorry I'm not the wife you remembered," Lisa whispers to him, turning around and walking off the mat, "I should go."

"Lisa -"

She only put her boots on and walked away, a hand on her lips as she tried not to cry - knowing deep down inside she'll never be able to be the wife he remembers in his memories. She'll never measure up to be that woman he misses and adores with all his heart, no matter if she tries to duplicate it to perfection.

After all, she's not real.

And Jungkook is a good man.

Turning around the corner to leave the training room, Lisa suddenly startles upon seeing Taehyung standing there. He seems equally as shocked as she was to see her, but Lisa was quick in removing her tears and plasters a smile.

"Um, is everything okay?"

Taehyung looks at her swollen eyes and wobbly smile, unsure on what really to say, but he only manages to blurt out, "Are you okay?"

Lisa's eyes glossed over and her smile weakens, but she held her head up, "Um - Jungkook is in there if you need him."

Without anything more needing to be said, Lisa walks past him quickly. Taehyung slowly follows her silhouette from afar, his alters questioning it over to what just happened but deciding to leave it be before turning his head around.

This time being meet with dark eyes staring right back to him.

Taehyung evidently freezes, his breath hitching his throat as he stares directly to Jungkook's face. The other man didn't say anything back either, and at that moment, Taehyung momentarily forgot everything that he wanted to say.

Truthfully, he came here because Boss told him to send a message to Hoseok that one of the new recruits from the group of trainees coming in soon will be moved from Oasis to Orchids, and well that's why Taehyung's here in the first place.

Until he walked in on what was happening with Lisa and Jungkook.

Hoseok's office is right across the training area, so to avoid awkwardness, Taehyung decided to wait until the two were done to go in.

He simply was not ready to eaves drop on that entire conversation, but that's what ended up happening.

In some way, Taehyung felt like he in could relate to Jungkook's feeling. Just last night as he was with Wheein, he was in the midst of still grieving his son - as he has been doing since the incident - and Wheein was there to hold him through it. The thing that really made him realize that something is not right was because of how Wheein didn't even cry, or show a twitch of reaction to the thought that her son wasn't here anymore.

The son she gave birth to.

Who she supposedly loved dearly.

Taehyung went off on an angry rant about it, hyperventilating and panicky all at once while pacing the room, and Wheein just sat there, breathing it in silently.

That terrified him.

Those blank eyes now have haunted Taehyung to never open up about his pain again.

So, while Jungkook was going off on his own memories, Taehyung felt it. This all feels as though he's living in some dream he can't seem to wake up from, yet for a moment he felt like he glimpsed an eye open.

And that was because of Jungkook.

The answers all lie with Jungkook - The only one who truly understands his pain right now and feel it. But this isn't right. Nothing about this is right.

Even how he feels for Jungkook, especially right now as he stares at him directly in the eyes, those emotions bleeding back to him.

If this isn't right, if the memories are true, then why does Taehyung feel so much?

Why can't he hate Jungkook?

Taehyung only blinks it away, clearing his throat and adjusting his posture, "I'm here to see Director Hoseok about a new recruit coming in with the group of trainees. Special request from Boss."

Jungkook didn't respond back to his quest instantly, but he did nod his head to follow him instead of using words. So, Taehyung did silently - Following him through the training room, which happens to be a large gymnasium with various forms of combating equipment and rooms specifically for intense training for those who can't control their abilities. It's clear this place has a lot of diverse aptitudes, and their equipment is ready to combat against it or used to boost their abilities even more.

Yet something about this place nudged Taehyung the wrong way, having Valencia advise him to just focus on following Jungkook instead.

Reaching the other side to come across another large hallway, Jungkook leads Taehyung to a door right across the gymnasium - knocking on it first.

No response.

Jungkook turns the doorknob and steps inside, "Director Jung, it's Sergeant Jungkook with - Oh."

The room is empty.

Strange, Director Jung never leaves his office at this time of day.

Especially without a forcefield as a protectant barrier.

"He's not here" Taehyung mutters, looking around with his eyes from Jungkook's shoulder, "In that case I'll entrust you to deliver the message -"

Taehyung is suddenly yanked inside the room, door slammed shut behind him.

Jungkook is so close to his face that had Taehyung immediately tense up to such proximity way out of his comfort zone, right before Karma decided to make a snarky entry by shoving him back, "The fuck is your problem?"

This didn't twitch a reaction from the ravenette, instead Jungkook looks around the office, his eyes attentively looking for something, "Do me a favor and keep guard."

Karma scowls back to him, arms crossed, "As if I'll do shit for you-"

"I'm asking Taehyung, not you."

Karma's eyes enraged, but it was quickly numbed down when Taehyung returns back, only fixating a glare to him, "What are you doing?"

"Much better," Jungkook mutters, looking through the cabinets against the wall, "I'm looking for my file. It has to be in here somewhere."

Taehyung blinks at him, having the metal door be locked solid to prevent anyone from entering behind him jus for precautious, "And why is that important? Why am I even here?"

Jungkook sighs annoyedly, snapping his eyes to him, "Because maybe it'll involve you too," And he looks back through another drawer, "Something is not right with these memories. I know there's something they did - I just can't put my finger on it. If I can only find something, that'll be enough."

Suddenly Jungkook came upon a drawer that wouldn't nudge, no matter how strong he tried to pull on it - which says a lot to how sealed it was. Taehyung still stays there with arms crossed, but eventually gave in with an eye roll and trails towards him, gently moving him aside.

"Let me handle it," Taehyung mutters, placing his hand over the metal handle with his glowing green eyes, having Valencia immediately dig through the Earth material in the metal to find what's holding it back and unlocking it easily, opening the drawer.

Immediately Jungkook eyes raised, grinning, "That's impressive."

Valencia stares at the side of his face, especially to his small smile, and out of some inner impulse leans and pecks his cheek. The sudden act froze Jungkook immediately, and Taehyung quickly moves away, clearing his throat as he looks through all the files in the shelf with his own cheeks burning.

"Sorry, Valencia can be a bit bold," Taehyung huffs, looking through the file, "Jeon Jungkook right? Umm.... Oh, here it is."

Taehyung slides the folder out and looks at Jungkook, seeing him looking at him intensely with such a stare that had Taehyung feeling something in his abdomen twist. It was something so strong that forced him to take a step back, his heart quickly racing in his chest as Jungkook reaches a hand over and clasps his hand on the folder, carefully taking it.

Their eyes still held the intensity of their gaze, filling in this tension that quickly became so difficult for them to even breathe, but Jungkook ended up being the one to quickly look away and open the folder on the desk. Taehyung had to close his eyes a few minutes to gather his composure, mellowing himself down because his body is feeling way too much for himself to comprehend.

Seems like a never ending feeling he won't be able to escape from.

Jungkook looks down to the folder as Taehyung gets himself together, his eyebrows furrowed as he looks to his marital status, the first thing that caught his eye.

Widowed, wife deceased in childbirth from child with radioactive aptitude.

So that wasn't a false memory.

Jungkook could feel Taehyung looking over his shoulder, especially to Jungkook's current life status.

Deceased in car crash with husband, Kim Taehyung, and children: Hwanwoong and Yeosang.

Died?

"I... Don't understand," Jungkook whispers to himself, looking off to the last update of this file, "Last update was sixteen years ago."

Taehyung tugs his bottom lip with his teeth, especially to his name being mentioned in Jungkook's last report before the supposed death:

Informant has ridiculed against both Oasis and Orchids, no longer accepting order. Has threatened on escaping with Orchid member Kim Taehyung, and their sons.

Then Jungkook points to a section in the file: Park Jimin and Min Yoongi accomplices on informant's escape, wanted and fugitive under the law.

Accomplices?

Jungkook looks at Taehyung, "They were with our kids that night."

Still pondering over this, Taehyung narrows his eyes, "But.... They took my son. I saw them take my son."

"Or maybe you were made believe to think that" Jungkook whispers, looking back to his file, not convinced, "Sixteen years ago, we were announced deceased. This file is untouched since then Taehyung, and my memories are not coherent throughout these sixteen years in between. They probably have this for record."

Taehyung still looks doubtful, yet knowing deep down inside this is a piece to getting out of maze he has in his head. This file was sealed, so that must mean it isn't meant to be touched or found. No matter how much his memories are rejecting this information, he knows - he just knows this is something.

That he wasn't going crazy.

Suddenly they heard the door handle to the office being rattled.

Both of their heads snapped to the door, the anxiety abruptly being spiked up when they hear Hoseok grunting on the other side as he tries to open the door.

Shit.

"I'll handle it," Taehyung says quietly, looking at Jungkook, "You have to put the file back."

Jungkook's wide eyes looks at him, "What? No, this has everything -"

"And if he finds it missing, he'll suspect it was either of us," Taehyung says through his teeth quietly, "If this file is true, then that means they're watching us to make sure we don't act out, believe it or not. Best thing to do now is to keep your eyes peered and be silent, we'll figure it out."

Hoseok is now growing impatient with the door, but that didn't seem to nerve Jungkook anymore because he suddenly grins, "We?"

"Don't push it."

Taehyung then moves to the door, having Eden come forth with hands pressed to the wood and dark eyes focused on Hoseok on the other side. It didn't take much effort to have Hoseok listen to Eden's quiet command as a consciousness through the imagery of a dream telling him to get security to open the door instead - just give the two enough time to leave.

Hoseok in his last attempt to open the door huffs, walking away as he follows the silent command subconsciously.

Always leave it to Eden to get things done.

Slowly he looks back, seeing Jungkook smoothly put the file back in the drawer before closing it and making sure to lock it the way it was, "I don't know what it is about you," Jungkook looks at him, having Eden play a cynical grin on his lips, "But you're making my life a little more amusing."

And Jungkook mimics his smile back since he already knew too.

"You know what, I think I'm growing a soft spot for kids these days."

Jimin just barely heard the words since his attention is far too focused on the computer screen - right where he's creating Hwanwoong and Yeosang's fake identification. Thanks to Wonwoo after finding out Jimin and Yoongi were alive with his telepathic abilities, he got them prepared with computers and cameras with signal, actively speaking with Jimin as they sorted out a plan on how to work around this.

Jungkook and Taehyung seem to be spiraling from their mental blockage, and that means Wonwoo's mind manipulation escape route is coming into the picture - but the issue is the key. The two are running through a maze right now, so close to the finish line, but in order for them to step through the other side, they need a trigger.

Wonwoo was walking on eggshells with mentioning the trigger to Jimin through his device in fear Boss would find out, so revealing it through technology is a no go. Not like he can met up with them either because of the possibility of him being followed is likely. So, they're going to do this the hard way.

And that's by having the two boys enter the place where they're most wanted.

With new identities, like a disease destroying the body from the inside.

It's the closest way for them to get to their father's, figure out on how to save them and get them out of there at the same time. They have to play it smart because there's a bunch of people like them in there, and they wouldn't think twice in harming a kid.

So, this is the best route.

Stealthy and discreet.

Now with this came the obvious question, wouldn't they know who they are since they were seen with Jungkook and wanted too?

That's when Wonwoo would come into playing a dangerous game, and that is fabricating this false identity into everyone's mind, manipulating them into seeing another face, another person completely.

Except for Taehyung and Jungkook - sorta.

To not cause a crash so suddenly, Jungkook would only see Hwanwoong as himself and Taehyung would see Yeosang as himself, but when it's reversed, they won't know who they are.

By this point in life, Wonwoo has the ability to manipulate countless of people at once, and for his precious Jimin and Yoongi, he'd do it as long as it meant they were safe. That means he will listen to them, and make sure the kids are safe.

Could say the guy got a little clingy after the accident -

"Hello? Wow, is this how I look like when I'm concentrating?"

Jimin suddenly blinks away from creating Yeosang's identification, "Hm?"

Yoongi looks at him and grins, turning his chair around to face him directly in the eye, "You need to rest, we have a plan -"

"Yeah, but that doesn't ease my worry," Jimin huffs back, leaning back on the chair, "Those kids are going into Oasis territory, not before Yeosang get sent into Orchids. Who knows what could happen in there to them Yoongi! Especially Yeosang? Who were testing on him back then?"

"Well yes, but who are they to know he's a ticking radioactive bomb? As far as they'd know, he's someone who can barely use his heating abilities and can make things explode," Yoongi tells him back, moving a hand to place them over Jimin's shakily knuckles, "Thanks to me for teaching him the little hack about his powers."

Jimin rolls his eyes but still looks at him worriedly, "Yeah, but.... What if Hoseok discovers them? Namjoon? They'll be - Ugh, I don't even want to think about it."

Twitching a soft smile, Yoongi rubs his knuckles, "Well won't you look at that, you're starting to sound like a worried parent."

The confliction is still storming in Jimin's eyes, making a sigh escape Yoongi's lips as he crouches down to look at him at eye level, interlacing one of their hands tightly, "Look," Jimin slowly flickers his eyes to him, "Even if Taehyung and Jungkook don't remember anything about their lives together, or their step kids, I know they'd still risk their lives to make sure they are safe. Nothing in this world is strong enough to remove the love a parent has for their kids, so trust me, these kids will be fine. Besides, they can handle themselves now."

Letting his words slowly sink in between them, Jimin let's out a shakily breath and moves his eyes to the side - seeing Yeosang and Hwanwoong practicing their physical combat outside from the cave they're in. They seem to be playing around by that point since the giggles were even heard from where Jimin and Yoongi are, and just the sight of their smiles alone was enough to have Jimin grow weak hearted and tear up.

He got attached.

He really did.

Never did he expect himself to feel this much for those two kids, but after spending as much time as they did in this cave - that they managed to stay hidden in for the past few weeks - he has learned so much from them than they have from him.

They taught him how to search for food, how to build up a camp, what water to drink - even had animals guard the perimeter. They taught him what they didn't know before on how to survive in the forest, and Jimin fell in love to their love for nature.

Even if the military did teach him many strategies on survival, they taught him how to live.

Now he has to let them go.

Is this how Jungkook felt? When he knew he had to let them go for their safety?

If it is, then Jimin fucking gets it now.

"Hey, hey it's okay," Jimin didn't even know he was tearing up until Yoongi wiped a tear from his cheek, frowning to him, "They'll be ready by the time they go in there. Besides, we'll always be in communication with them and Wonwoo, it'll be okay."

That assurance wasn't enough to stop Jimin from tearing up, but he had to suck it up when Yeosang and Hwanwoong walked into the cave while shoving each other playfully, looking at the pair. Hwanwoong didn't need to be told that something was wrong, moving Yoongi out of the way without touching him and teleported in front of Jimin.

"Hey, did Yoongi make you upset?" Hwanwoong immediately questions, glaring to Yoongi murderously, "What did you do?!"

Before Yoongi could even answer, Yeosang kicks the back of his knees and grips his hair, his other hand ready to stuff it on his face with radiation.

Jimin smiles weakly at the two overprotective boys, rubbing Hwanwoong's hair, "Easy there you two, Yoongi was actually helping me relax."

Yeosang narrows his eyes, but squeaks when Yoongi's burning hand lands on his hand that's gripping his hair, yanking it away, "OW! You said you wouldn't use that on me!"

"And you said you wouldn't use your combat against me!"

Making a face back to Yoongi's counterattack, Yeosang only trails to Jimin but then has his eyes wander to the screens on the computer, letting it fall to his and Hwanwoong's new identification.

And they seem.... Pretty realistic.

"So, is this what has you all weeping up a storm here? I knew you liked me."

This earned a smack on his lower back by Jimin's hand, hissing to it with a glare while Jimin huffs back to him and looks at the screen, moving the mouse over it, "Don't get your ego boasted. Normal for me to worry."

Hwanwoong pouts and wraps his arms around Jimin's neck from behind, resting his chin on his head, "You guys could come with us too, and have Wonwoo do that little magic thing to their heads to not remember you guys."

Yoongi snorts to this, leaning against the desk, staring at the monitor, "If only it were that easy kid, they'd sniff us out no matter how good we can conceal ourselves," His gaze then falls to Yeosang, nodding to him, "You guys know the deal right?"

"Get into Oasis, have Hwanwoong train with my dad," Yeosang sighs off, arms crossed, "And have me somehow get into Orchids, or get Taehyung's attention at least."

"Wonwoo will work on that."

"I just don't get it," Hwanwoong mutters quietly, his cheek now resting on Jimin's head, "Why can't I see Taehyung instead? And Yeosang sees Jungkook?"

"Because what if you guys can't trigger their memories back?" Jimin answers quietly, "Then they'll be seeing their dead children and it'll fuck them up, and you guys too if they open their mouth. Jungkook doesn't remember Hwanwoong, and Taehyung doesn't remember Yeosang, so get close to figure out a trigger. It'll be hard, but not impossible."

Hwanwoong continues to frown weakly, closing his eyes, "I can destroy that building from the inside out," He says quietly, "Why can't I?"

"Because there will be people there who would be quicker in detecting something like that," Yoongi scoffs back, rolling his eyes, "Best way to attack is always through silence."

Nothing more was said against that. It was getting late now, and everyone decided to call it a night without any more word on the plan. Out of habit Hwanwoong and Yeosang prepared the night routine that they'd do when they would be back home; setting up traps, ordering the animals to be posted, and with Yeosang spilling his blood a few feet away from the cave, right on the rocks nearby the river.

They take a long look as they observe their finished tasks from the entrance of the cave, yet they didn't feel as proud as they usually would. They found this place - this specific cave - in the midst of their walk the day of the incident, still by the two cliffs with the running water at the center. It's a perfect place to hide, and no one would suspect them to be here.

At least, for now.

How Jimin got his tech is through the thanks of Wonwoo as mentioned - he delivered it at a specific location where the incident occurred, and Yoongi used Hwanwoong's teleportation to take it and bring it back here.

They've been here since then.

Hwanwoong lets out a heavy sigh, hands on his hips, "Feels like old times, doesn't it?"

Yeosang presses his lips tightly together, nodding to himself, "Yeah," And his eyes strays to Hwanwoong, seeing the deep fog in his eyes, "What's on your mind?"

There's a long moment of silence that spread between them before Hwanwoong gulps, exhaling a shakily breath, "Kookie looked at me directly in the eye, and had no idea who I was Sangie," He quietly whimpers to himself, clearing his throat, "Memories completely wiped out of me. Only rotating around you and my dad and.... I thought Wonwoo would at least have him not forget me, you know?"

The deep realization is unsettling for both of them, and Yeosang gets it. He couldn't be strong like Hwanwoong and hide his feelings, only ended up breaking down when he saw Tigresa again and he just.... It hurt because none of them remember him.

At all.

Yoongi thought that maybe that's the trick. Wonwoo deleted them from their memories for a reason, and he thinks something about them interacting with them will trigger something.

So, it has to work, someway or form.

Even then, they will see him personally when they go into that building, so he will have to tell them in that time somehow.

Doesn't mean it doesn't hurt any less having this be their new reality - from always being saved by their fathers to now being the ones to save them.

Who would've known.

"Maybe it's better that way," Yeosang says quietly, looking at him, "The regret he's going to feel once he remembers will be a bitch."

Even if Hwanwoong wanted to smile, he couldn't, only hugs himself tightly as he looks far into the stars, "Even when he does, what will happen then? We can't go back home, and what if our parents don't remember? Or fall for each other again when they do?"

Yeosang turns to look at him, a hand on his shoulder, "Hey, more than anyone we both know our parents are crazy for each other. If any of that were real, I don't doubt they'll find their way back to each other."

No matter how reassuring that may be, it still filled in the space with the doubt.

What if they truly lost their family? For good?

What if there's no way to change what's happening now?

There's still a doubtful cloud in Hwanwoong's gaze, his lips quivering as he let's his younger memories fill his
mind, "A-All these lights are colored in by you," He sings quietly to himself, his breath hitching as he sways himself in comfort, "All these times are p-precious due to you."

The hand on Hwanwoong's shoulder traces to his other shoulder, being tugged to Yeosang's chest in a deep hug, "Four seasons have passed with you," He murmurs back, letting the delicate memory playing in his head as well, feeling his throat clench, "Four scents were left 'cause of you."

A memory traced them back from this moment to being little kids, sharing the same bed in their cottage home, watching while Jungkook and Taehyung harmonized the gentle lullaby to help them sleep.

"All the reasons why I can laugh out," Jungkook would sing, caressing Yeosang's hair away from his sleepy face, "All the reasons why I sing this song."

"Thankful to be by your side now," Taehyung quietly would follow after, pressing a delicate kiss to Hwanwoong's head, "I'll shine brighter than now."

A memory where they were once so happy; young, together, but happy.

Never did Yeosang or Hwanwoong expect to miss how things were before, but now as they venture into this new life, they would do anything to turn back time and embrace those moments a little more.

Even just for a second.

Now all they can do is just hope they'll cause a miracle to have their family back, no matter what they have to do to make it happen.
