Phoebe's POV:

Parrish's brows furrow into concentration, keeping his stares to the Ghost Rider who took a step closer to the wired fence.

"That's progress." Theo muttered.

"Maybe ask him how we get everyone back?" I suggest.

"Tell us how we get everyone back." Parrish repeated but in response, the Ghost Rider simply tilts his head upward and lets out a short haunting noise.

"What was that?" Liam worriedly asked.

"Did he say something?" Scott added.

"He said 'Hellhound.'" Parrish answered with unease.

"Is that a good thing?" Theo questioned.

Scott nodded his head towards the Ghost Rider. "Ask him again."

Parrish takes a step closer to the mountain ash barrier. "What do you want from us?"

"We are the Wild Hunt." The chilling-raspy voice spoke, causing my eyes to widen. "We hunt forever. Those who hunt with us hunt forever."

"What does that mean?" Liam insisted.

"Tell us what you want." Parrish firmly stated.

"We are the Wild Hunt." The Ghost Rider spoke once more. "We hunt forever. Those who hunt with us hunt forever."

"That clarifies things." Theo scoffs in annoyance.

"I don't think he's going to spill." I hesitantly say, but Scott's expression never wavered.

"What do we have to do to get everyone back? Do you want something from us?"

The Ghost Rider turns his head towards Scott, almost as if he was sizing him up.

"Why's he looking at Scott?" Liam inquired with suspicion.

Theo glances between the Ghost Rider and Scott. "He figured out Scott's the Alpha."

I cross my arms with a glare. "There must be something he wants. They wouldn't do it if it benefitted them."

"There is only the Hunt." The Ghost Rider's whispers echoed. "No one resists. No one escapes."

"If they can't be bargained with, we're gonna have to fight 'em." Scott worriedly explains to us before his expression shifts into a glare to the Ghost Rider. "I'm coming for my friends. I'm coming for everyone. I won't stop. I'll never stop until we get everyone back."

The Ghost Rider slowly turns back towards Parrish, making another distorted sound which causes Parrish's head to tilt to the side in a trance-like state.

"Parrish?" Liam worriedly called. "What's happening?"

"Scott..." I uneasily trail, taking note of Parrish's blank expression and I discreetly reach for my electrified batons.

Suddenly, a surge of flames burst out from within Parrish's chest disintegrating the clothes he was wearing. His eyes blaze a bright fiery orange-red color and take a step forward, resting his foot on the mountain ash barrier.

"W-What is he doing?" Theo stammered.

Scott's eyes widen, seeing that the ash bursts into a line of blue flames, burning away the properties into dust. "He's gonna set him free."

I click the buttons on the batons to activate the electricity and I lunge to push it against Parrish's back but he whirls around, snatching the baton out of my hands.

Before I could strike again, he backhands the baton against my cheek, seeing me flying backward to crash against the stone wall and fall flat on the ground with a groan.

I weakly lift my head in time to see Parrish throw Theo to the side and try to push through Liam and Scott with a roar.

"Parrish! Parrish, stop!" Scott yells, using every bit of his strength to hold him back.

"We need to do something!" Liam shouts, his eyes meeting mine in concern but I shake my head, showing that I was fine.

"Yeah...on three!" Scott grunted, seeing the heat radiate from Parrish's body. "One. Two. Three!"

With all of their super-strength, Scott and Liam shove Parrish out of the shed before he can completely burn through the mountain ash barrier.

I quickly run towards the crate and grab the extra jar of mountain ash, pouring another fresh line in front of the fence.

I look towards Theo, seeing as he clutched onto his burned hand with a pained expression.

Putting my pride aside, I take a few steps closer to him and offer my hand which causes his eyes to widen. "Either I really must have hit my head or Phoebe Jimenez is offering a hand."

"Don't make me regret it." I harshly remark. Using his other hand, he gently takes hold of it and I carefully pull him up to his feet. "You okay?"

He simply nods and I reach down to grab my batons from the ground. "Since when did you use those?"

"The time I decided I wanted to use my anger against something." I casually explain as I attach the batons against my belt.

Before he could answer, his eyes widen slightly as he looks behind me. "Have you been here the whole time?"

I follow his line of vision and to my surprise, there stood Mr. Douglas wearing a smug look on his face.

The corners of his mouth perk a bit. "How could I stay away?" A German accent laced Mr. Douglas' tone, causing me to let out a quiet gasp in shock. "A pleasure to see you again, Ms. Jimenez."

"Maybe you should tell them who you really are," Theo tilted his head to the side, watching as Mr. Douglas took several steps closer to the cage, his eyes glowing a bright red. "Hauptmann."

"Captain?" I question with suspicion, unclipping the baton from my belt.

However, Mr. Douglas's face and brow became more rigid than most of the were-creatures I've seen.

His face muscle definition pronounced, the canines in his teeth extended, the sideburns grew into thick mutton chops, and his ears sharpened to a point.

Before I could try to move, Douglas grabs ahold of my wrist and yanks me towards him, plunging his claws into my stomach which causes me to let out a choked gasp.

"Phoebe!"

"Unless you want to be the one to blame for a girl's death, I suggest you do as I say," Mr. Douglas lowly explained to Theo. "Break the barrier."

"Theo don't be stupid! He'll just kill--" Mr. Douglas immediately cuts me off by slowly turning his wrist, causing more blood to trickle down my stomach with a pained cry. "Ack!"

"Break the barrier or I'll rip her intestines out of her stomach!" He growls.

"Okay, okay!" Theo shouts, raising his hands in surrender as he walks towards the mountain ash line. "I'll do it."

He lifts his foot, meeting my eyes in reluctance, and soon enough, kicks off the dust to break the line.

Mr. Douglas smirks in satisfaction before throwing me to the side, wiping his blood-drenched claws on his pants.

I painfully clutch onto my stomach and Theo scrambles to my side, pressing his hands against the wound in an attempt to stop the bleeding.

"You idiot..." I grunt, trying to sit up from my spot but Theo forces me down with a glare. "We need to--"

"The more you move, the more you lose blood." He scolds.

"It's been a long time coming." The sounds of the cage being ripped apart cause us to look up, watching as the Ghost Rider takes a step away from Mr. Douglas who entered the cage with him.

The Ghost Rider detaches his whip from his belt and Mr. Douglas lets out a growl. He swings it towards him but Mr. Douglas catches the end of the rope at ease before harshly pulling the Ghost Rider to stumble towards him.

He tightly grips his throat and before I knew it, Mr. Douglas sinks his teeth in the back of Ghost Rider's head and I look away in horror. All I could hear were the sounds of the Ghost Rider's screeches, causing the walls to rattle at the volume.

A few moments painfully pass by until it's finally quiet which causes me to look back, seeing as Mr. Douglas drops the Ghost Rider's body to the ground.

The sight of the inside of the back of the Ghost Rider's causes me to cover my mouth in horror but Mr. Douglas dug his fingers inside its head, almost as if it was searching for something.

He pants with a twisted smile, pulling out the pea-sized tissue with his bloodied claws and shoving it inside his mouth with a moan of pleasure.

"W-Why did I look back?" I stammer, trying my best not to puke at the sight.

We watch as Mr. Douglas wipes his mouth with his sleeve with a sigh before he snatches the Ghost Rider's whip from the ground and runs out of the room without another word.

"Can you stand?" Theo questions, trying to wrap my arm around his neck.

I try to push myself up but the slightest movement causes me to wince with a groan. "Agh--I can't, I can't!"

"What the..."

I weakly look up, seeing as the others entered the room with confusion.

Hayden's eyes met mine and her expression shifted into a glare. "Get away from her!" She sprints towards us and shoves Theo away from me, concern replacing soon after as she sees my bloodied side. "I heard you scream a-and I tried to get here as fast as I could."

Liam comes to my side as well and presses his hand against my stomach. "What happened?"

"I'm fine too, you know." Theo scoffs, trying to push himself to lean against the wall.

However, Hayden storms over to him and grabs the collar of his shirt, lifting him to stand and slam his back against the wall. "You just had to get your revenge, didn't you?" Hayden growls, her eyes glowing bright gold. "Kill the only Ghost Rider we managed to catch and finish it off by hurting Phoebe."

"Hayden stop!" I grunt, trying to wrap my arm around Liam's neck and he carefully helps me stand to my feet. "He didn't do this to me."

"Mr. Douglas threatened to kill Phoebe if I hadn't broken the barrier." Theo added with a grunt in which Hayden loosens her grip. "H-He ate his brain."

"Scott was right. I was wrong." Liam whispered, his eyes softening at the sight of my stomach before he turned towards Theo. "I'm sending you back."

Scott crouches down to the Ghost Rider's corpse, shaking his head with a sigh. "It wasn't his brain...Mr. Douglas ate his pineal gland."

"Regardless, it couldn't have been Theo." Mason swallowed nervously. "These murders have been going on for weeks."

"A-And to make things worse..." I shakily whisper and tiredly gesture towards the Ghost Rider. "he took the Ghost Rider's whip."

Allison's POV:

"You're going to bite Stiles?" Lydia repeated with uncertainty.

Lydia picked me up from my complex building the following morning so we could meet up with the others at the police station to discuss what happened with the Ghost Rider plan.

According to them...it didn't go well.

Scott solemnly nods. "To get him through the rift. It's the only way."

Miraculously, the only way Peter managed to get through the rift without dying was due to the fact he was a werewolf. Simply put it f Stiles would have tried to go through, he would die.

"And Olivia?" I questioned, not wanting to risk the chance of her being harmed. "What about her?"

"She's a Phoenix so she can resurrect from the dead good as new." Peter spoke up, pushing himself off from the wall he leaned against. "But just to clarify, are you planning on biting everyone in the train station?"

"With Stiles back, he'll be able to help us figure out a plan." Scott informed, briefly meeting my concerned gaze before looking back down to his blueprints.

"He's good at that." Malia chimed in. Peter paced back and forth. "So, the plan is to get Stiles to come up with a plan?

Malia huffs. "You can shut up now."

"Malia, look around. We're the only ones left in Beacon Hills." Peter remarks in annoyance. "If they take us, Lydia will be the only one left to haunt the place."

"That's why I'm the only person that's going in." Scott interjected. "Liam and Phoebe will stay here with Hayden and Mason. As long as somebody is left in Beacon Hills, the Wild Hunt can't move on."

"I like your plan, Scott, I really do, especially the part about turning Stiles and letting Olivia burn to a crisp," Peter states, causing me to glare at the intentional emphasis. "But it can't work."

I cross my arms over my chest. "How do you know?"

"Logic? Life experience? What are the odds of Liam being taken? What if Stiles and Olivia aren't there?" His eyes fall back on mine with a smirk. "Who's to say that Olivia is still alive? Aw...there goes your little lovey-dovey reunion. What if there's no Beacon Hills for you to come back to?"

"Do not test me." I grit through my teeth and try to take a step closer but feel Lydia tug my arm back.

"You got a better idea?" Liam asked with an unamused expression.

"Yeah, it's called 'run like hell.'" He insisted before giving a small shrug. "So, leave in five?"

Malia stepped closer to her father with a glare. "You promised you'd help us. We still need to find the rift."

"I didn't promise I'd help you commit suicide."

"He's made up his mind, Malia." I mutter, pulling my arm out of Lydia's grasp. "All he cares about is saving his own ass."

"If you can't help, we can find it ourselves." Scott firmly stated with annoyance.

"Scott, I admit that you have a flair for beating the odds, but this? You don't walk away from," Peter begins to back away to the exit door. "you run." He states before exiting the police station without another word.

Phoebe's POV:

After realizing Corey's disappearance, Hayden, Mason, and I searched the preserve for any sort of clue of where he could be since there was nothing at his parents' house.

And by nothing...it was almost as if he was erased from existence which only meant one thing.

The Ghost Riders.

"At least we found his cell." Hayden broke the silence, noticing a tear trickle down Mason's face from the rearview mirror. "That means something."

"It's a relic." Mason sniffled, continuing to swipe through the pictures in the device. "That only means one thing."

"It means he's still alive, Mason." I assure with a small smile. "That there's still a chance. I'm positive Stiles and Olivia are with him right now."

"He only has pictures of us. T-There's, like, a hundred pictures here." He stammered. "And it's just us. Is that a little weird?"

Hayden quickly shakes her head. "No." Her eyes briefly meet mine with a small smile. "It means he loves you."

Did she just...? No. I'm imagining it. She didn't indirectly say it to me.

Mason's expression shifts into determination and he quickly wipes his tears with his sleeve. "We need to get him back."

"We will." Hayden adds before glancing at me with concern."Are you sure you're okay?" She asks, keeping her eyes on the road as we drove to the police station. "I feel like we should've had Ms. Flores check it out at the hospital."

I reach for her free hand over the console and slide it inside my shirt, having her feel my healed stomach. "I told you, I'm okay." I assure with a small smile.

She pulls her hand out of my shirt and reached to interlace my hand with hers, giving it a small squeeze. "But the moment I heard you scream...I never ran so fast in my life. There should've been scars with how deep his claws went inside your stomach."

"I'll admit, I don't know how it went away, but all that matters is that I'm fine." I emphasize and she simply nods, keeping her stares on the road.

Allison's POV:

I walked beside Malia as Scott led the group through the woods, determined to find the rift that would lead us to where everybody was being taken.

It was clear Malia is still disappointed in Peter's choice to run away but as much as I despised her father, I knew not to push it.

"When you were here before, how long until the Ghost Riders showed up?" Scott asked, glancing behind Malia.

"A couple of minutes."

"That's reassuring." Lydia muttered, carefully trekking through the tall weeds.

"How are we supposed to know what a rift looks like?" I questioned.

"If it's a tear in the fabric of our world, theoretically, it could look like anything from a microscopic black hole to a free-floating Einstein-Rosen bridge." We stop near a clearing full of dead grass, watching as Lydia looked up to the clear skies with discomfort. "I really hope it's not up there."

My eyes trail along with the clearing, looking for anything out of the ordinary until they land on a rusted tunnel covered in leaves.

"Let's split up?" Scott suggested.

"We don't have to. Look over there." I point ahead and walk past him towards the tunnel, seeing that the bars covering the tunnel were now bent from the inside out, charred black.

I crouch down and pick up the leaf from the pile, noticing they were burned to a crisp.

"The rift's not above us." Lydia spoke from behind and I nod in confirmation.

"It's below."

I'm coming for you, Olivia.
