Olivia's POV:

"I've been missing for three months, and no one came for me?" Peter asked in disbelief.

"That's what the Ghost Riders do. They erase you." Stiles muttered as he took a seat next to me.

"Ghost Riders?" He questioned. "Ghost Riders of the Wild Hunt?"

My eyes slightly widen. "You know about them?"

"Of course, I know what you're talking about. They ride the lightning. They are an unstoppable force of nature. But, I promise you, they don't make pit-stops in train stations." He explained with a scoff. "I've escaped one prison only to land in another one. And this looks like the underground lair of a depressed bureaucrat."

I look around and my eyes land on an elderly woman who wore a small smile as she met my eyes before staring ahead.

Poor her.

"Come on, there's gotta be a way out of this place, right? Have you tried looking around? Have you talked to anyone who knows anything?"

"If this is the Wild Hunt," Peter glanced around the place before he shook his head. "there is no escape. We're doomed to ride the storm forever."

"We're not in the storm, we're in a train station." Stiles stood up from the bench with determination. "But we can get out of a train station."

"They're going to find us." I assure. "They already know that something felt off as soon as you went missing."

"We can't get out of here, because this place isn't real." He raised his voice slightly, causing my eyes to widen.

"What are you talking about?" I worriedly ask.

"Beacon Hills doesn't have a train station."

"There still has to be a way out." Stiles countered before he quickly walks over to one of the side doors.

I stand up from my spot as well with confusion. "What are you doing?"

"What's it look like I'm doing?" Stiles sarcastically asked as he shook the chains that were wrapped around the handles. "Little help, please?"

"Move." Peter bumps my shoulder as he walks past me, grabbing onto the chain with one hand and yanking it off the hinges.

"Okay." Stiles mocked under his breath before he rushes through the doors.

However, the doors behind us burst open which causes Peter and I to turn, seeing as Stiles stumbled through the doors.

"What the hell?" He breathed as he quickly walks over to the doors in front of us and rushes inside.

He stumbles through the doors behind us again and he frantically looks around in confusion.

"Uh..." I trail off but Stiles began to speed walk back towards the doors, preparing to try again until Peter spoke up.

"No, no, no, keep going."

Stiles pauses in his steps with a huff. "I don't see you comin' up with anything!"

"No, no. Left shoulder, against the pillar. Don't look." Peter whispered to us. Stiles starts to turn but Peter grabs his shoulder. "I said, don't look! He's watching us."

I roll my eyes as I turn my head and sure enough, a boy around my age stood not too far from where the three of us stood, leaning against the pillar with his arms crossed as he watched us with a smug expression.

"So?"

"So?" Peter repeated in annoyance before he looks over at me. "Every person in this station is either comatose or catatonic. He seems very interested in keeping an eye on us."

Stiles gives a small nod before he starts to walk over to the guy and I quickly follow behind. Seeing that we were walking straight towards him, the guy awkwardly moves to hide behind the pillar.

"Hey!" Stiles hissed and I quickly move the other way to cut the guy off but just as I turned the corner, I bump right into Peter which causes me to flinch back.

The guy takes a step back to prevent himself from bumping into us but Stiles quickly stands next to Peter, trying to

"Why are you watching us?" Peter questioned as he crossed his arms.

"You tried the doors." The boy chuckled before he looked at each of us and the doors behind him. "Nobody ever tries the doors."

"Have you?" I curiously ask.

"The ones that I could open. I've tried everything else."

"Not everything." Peter corrected. "You're still here."

"Yeah, it seems like you got some kind of a plan. So, why don't you tell us about it?" Stiles added.

My eyes trail over to the dark circles around the boy's eyes, taking note of the stress that practically radiated from him as he gave a small nod. "I can tell you," He answered. "doesn't mean you can do it."

I couldn't help but stifle the laugh that almost escaped from my mouth as Stiles, Peter, and I share amused expressions.

After risking our lives over all the supernatural disasters to save the town, this could be the most laid-back thing that we have ever done.

"I doubt it's not that bad." I answer as Stiles nods in agreement.

"Yeah, w-we can do it. Well," Stiles nods his head to Peter.  "He can-he can."

"Well, it's right in front of your face." He looks over to the side and I follow his line of vision, seeing the large tunnel entrance which causes my eyes to widen. "You didn't see it, did you?"

"I just got here but..." I slowly trail off but the longer I stared at the tunnel, an unsettling feeling crawled up my spine which caused me to turn away. "I don't know."

"I saw it." Stiles whispered in which the boy lets out a scoff.

"Then why'd you waste so much time running through the doors?" He slightly raised his voice. "I'll tell you why. It's because it's all part of the illusion. You're afraid, and they want you to be afraid."

"I'm not afraid." Peter growled and in a confident stride, began to walk over to the tunnel entrance and the three of us follow behind him.

Before he could fully enter through, he pauses by the entrance, and all I could see past the arch was a dark path that led into complete darkness.

The feeling of being this close to the path forced me to cross my arms in discomfort. My gut screamed to immediately turn away to sit down on the bench.

For safety.

"Can't do it, can you?" The boy broke the silence with a smug. "He can't do it."

"We really should kill him." Peter bitterly spat as he still faced forward.

Before I could flick my wrist, Stiles grabs my arm. "Or...you can just walk through it." He suggested but Peter mumbled something under his breath. "What did you say?"

"Push me!" He loudly spoke with annoyance.

"Don't have to tell me twice." I shrug before Stiles and I grab onto his shoulders and shove him into the hallway.

He stumbles forward but catches his balance as he cautiously looked around, realizing that nothing happened.

"Now you're getting it." The boy spoke up as he easily walked inside with his hands shoved in his pockets.

Stiles worriedly meets my eyes before I wrap my arm around his with a small smile. "Come on." I encourage and he nods before we carefully take a step inside and follow behind the boy.

Allison's POV:

"The corpus callosum is not only the largest white matter structure in the brain but also the bridge connecting all parts of the brain to each other." Mrs. Finch explained to our AP Biology class but my eyes trail over to the indents on my table. "That ability for all parts of the brain to communicate and to work together helps us make leaps in cognitive thinking. With that..."

Tuning out the rest of the lecture, I curiously place my fingers over the indentations. With the way it was singed, it was almost as if someone was tightly clutching onto it with...a lighter? No, couldn't be a lighter. Their hand had to be on fire. It was the only logical answer.

Who was sitting next to me before?

"Lydia?"

I turn to Lydia seated across from me, seeing that her eyes quickly averted away from the window. "I..." She trails before she cleared her throat. "completely agree."

"Is there something outside that's more fascinating than the structure of the human mind?" Mrs. Finch sarcastically asked.

I look towards the window as well, seeing a semi-decent blue jeep with a man holding a clipboard as he inspected the vehicle.

"No... I don't think so." Lydia trailed but quickly shook her head. "No."

"Okay, good." Mrs. Finch spoke before she took a step back away from our table and faced the class once more. "Now, many people credit the corpus callosum, uh, for giving us a sense of intuition, gut instinct, that even we ourselves aren't aware--"

"I'm sorry, I'll be right back." Lydia interrupted as she grabbed her purse and ran out of the classroom.

Scott worriedly looks at me, debating whether one of us should go but I stand up from my spot as well. "I-erm," I awkwardly utter out as I head towards the exit. "I'm just gonna check if she's okay. You know, girl problems, am I right?" I hesitantly smile before I bolt out of the classroom to chase after Lydia.

I push open the doors that led to the parking lot and see Lydia had her hand pressed against the blue jeep with a determined-filled expression.

"Oh, this is your vehicle?" I hear the tow truck driver ask as I quickly ran towards them.

"Does it matter?" Lydia remarked.

He scoffed. "Sounds like a 'no.'"

I place my hands on the hood with a smile. "Hey, uh--it's mine!" I lie, letting out a nervous chuckle. "Thank you, I'll move it. Once I get the keys...from my locker! After you leave."

"I'm sorry," He half-heartedly answered with a shrug. "Once it's on the hook, you're on the hook."

"I hate that I knew he was going to say that." Lydia muttered.

"Look, there's gotta be something that we can do." I quickly say before he could walk away. "Sign something? Call someone?"

Lydia huffed. "Pay someone?"

The tow truck driver's eyes lit up. "Drop fee is a hundred and fifty. Cash."

My eyes widen. "A hundred and fifty?" I practically screech and turn to Lydia. "Lydia, this thing isn't even worth that much and I need to save up for--

"How much you got?" Lydia interrupted my whispers.

I narrow my eyes. "How much have you got?"

"Just give me your money." She scolded and I groan before I pull my wallet out of my pocket.

"All I have is sixty dollars. And when I say all,' I mean--" I explain as I held out the bills but Lydia snatches it from my hands. "and you took it."

Lydia hands the man the cash and he takes the money from her with a grin before shoving it in his pockets and walking over to the hook.

I grab Lydia's arm and pull her to the side. "Lydia, as much as I think jeeps are decent, neither of us have a key to this!" I whisper. "That money was supposed to be for my apartment next year."

"On the bright side, now we have a jeep!"

"Great."

Olivia's POV:

"Congratulations, you found another part of the phantom train station." Peter mockingly announces, seeing as the train tracks led into another open space.

Above the tracks was an empty platform that had only a wooden bench a few concrete pillars a couple of feet away from each other.

Ignoring his sarcasm, I turn to the boy. "Is this the way out?"

"If it was, we would be leaving." Peter murmured.

The boy pauses in his steps which causes the rest of us to stop as well. "You might want to stay off the tracks 'cause that's the way in and out." He explained before pointing towards the cloud of ominous mist that blocked the end of the tunnel. A clap of thunder rumbles throughout the sky which soon enough followed with horses neighing. "They're coming."

He quickly rushes to the platform and hops over the ledge in which Stiles, Peter, and I follow behind as we duck behind the pillar.

I peek to watch and in a matter of seconds, a Ghost Rider on its horse jumps out with a puff of green mist as it rode through the tracks. Two more of the Ghost Riders jump out as well, following behind the first one as they charged towards the tunnel we walked through.

Stiles quickly pulls me back, hiding us away until we knew it was clear. "Jesus." Stiles muttered under his breath.

"That's the way out?" Peter incredulously asks with disbelief as he pointed to the mist. "How in the hell are we supposed to do that?"

"We jump."

"Jump?" He exclaimed.

"On the back of the Riders as they go through." He insisted before he turned to me, noticing my uncertainty. "I've been timing it. Look, we can jump from here just before they go out."

"You know..." I trail off as I share a worried expression with Stiles. "I--"

"I think you're confusing your pronouns." Peter remarked before he gestured to the three of us. "we aren't going to do anything, but you should absolutely give that a shot."

"Do you not wanna get out of here?"

"We want to get out alive, okay?" Stiles scoffed. "How do you know this works? Seems like a lot could go wrong."

The boy turns to me. "You'll come with me, right? This is the only way out."

"As much as I want to go back home to be reunited with my girlfriend," I start which causes a flash of hurt to show in his expression. "I don't think we should risk it. Maybe there's a safer way?"

He adamantly shakes his head. "I can't stay here. I'm losing my mind in this place."

"I think you have an excellent grasp of the situation." Peter shrugged. "I say, go for it."

"Shut up, Peter." Stiles and I scold in unison.

The sounds of the horses neighs echo through the tunnels once more which causes the boy to let out a gasp. "They're coming back!"

He quickly moves to hide behind the pillar again but before I could stop him, I feel a tight grip on my wrist as the person harshly yanks me back.

"Don't." Peter whispered as Stiles rushes to the werewolf's side with hesitance.

"Are we seriously letting him do this?" I argue, trying to pull his hand from my wrist but his grip remained firm.

"This sounds a bit insane." Stiles added, his voice laced with panic.

"What if he's right?" Peter questioned but I quickly shake my head.

"What if he isn't?" I counter.

"Hey, we'll figure something else out." Stiles called out to the boy. "Hey, look, there's gotta be another way out of this place!"

"But there isn't." The boy called back. "I've been looking for months. Are you coming or not?"

The first Ghost Rider came riding down the train tracks and Peter gave a thumbs up towards the boy. "It's all you!" The other two Ghost Riders soon enough come out as well and Stiles tries to rush towards the boy to stop him but Peter quickly grabs onto his shoulder and held him back. "Let him try."

I helplessly watch as the boy followed beside the last Ghost Rider before he jumped onto the back of the horse and held the Ghost Rider for dear life.

The last horse pushes through but the invisible wall causes the boy to bounce back and slam his back on the train tracks. My eyes widen at the sound of the boy's screams as he tightly held onto his chest before his body slowly disintegrated into nothing.

"He's...gone." I whisper and Stiles slowly nods before he jumps off of the platform and rushes towards where the boy disappeared.

"Somehow, I don't think that went the way he was hoping."
