Teachers and School Buses
The one without color is supposed to be the reader, but I can't exactly make it accurate, so I just did whatever.
______________
Lunch didn't last very long after that- the free time being used up almost too fast for yourself to notice. You and Wolf had a few more laughs, and he even followed you out of the lunch room, but going back into class was nerve racking. You see, this school is a little bit special.
Rather than the students moving from class to class, the teachers moved from class to class. It makes it easy for students in all honesty, but rather then being a pleasantry for you, this means your going to have to see that dude that punched you.
Dender was it? Or Trendre? You couldn't quite remember after having been punched in the face a few moments after learning it.
Standing in front of the classroom door, you quickly entered, deciding that just like at lunch, its better to get it over with.
Rushing to your seat, you sat down. All of your books were still here, same with pencils and pens and everything of that sort, but, strangely enough, not your seat partner.
Phew- you really dodged a bullet there. Perhaps he was in the office for punching someone? Eck- just thinking about how he punched you seemed to remind you of the pain in your eye and cheeks.
Eventually, in walked the teacher- and holy crap is your seat parnter related to him or what? Black hair, pale skin, purple eyes- heck, he looked even taller then Dener- or whatever the name was. A big difference being his overall more buff look, and his eyes. Sure they were purple... but they weren't nearly as stunning as the other guy, not to be rude to the teacher. The teachers were all a dark purple, where Trendre's where lighter colored with dark outlining them.
And holy crap- you just realized how stupid it is to argue about who's eyes are prettiest in your head.
The teacher looked over the classroom, setting his things on the table and pulling out a small paper. He started to read it aloud, "Hello class- as you all know- and as I will remind you- my name is Drade Murphy, but to all of you, that will be MISTER, Drade Murphy, or Mr. Murphy. In my class, I have a few rules that everybody must abide by and listen to. There will be no name calling- cheating- speaking- getting up out of you seat without permission- and most of all- slaughtering the English Language when called upon. Something like, "Can I sharpen my pencil is incorrect- and will be treated as incorrect until you get it right."
A glare was present throughout his whole speech, and you could only assume he was restating the speech because you were the one kid who didn't here it the first day.
He looked to you, "You- the person absent- what is the correct way of saying 'Can I sharpen my pencil'?"
You jolted at how sudden the teac-- Mr. Murphy, sorry-- called upon you. You jumped to alerteness, "May I sharpen a pencil, Sir Drade." Either by accident or some other force, you spoke relatively in a calm voice. Unfortunately, you messed up his name. It's Mr. Drade Murphy or Mr. Murphy, not 'sir drade.'
You waited anxiously for what he would say.
A snuff of breath came from his nose, reminding you of some sort of dragon puffing smoke out in anger.
"What did I ask you to call me, student?"
You gulped silently, "Mister Drade Murphy or Mr. Murphy- Mr. Murphy."
"And what did you call me?"
You were soaked in your own sweat by now, "Sir Drade- Mr. Murphy."
"Can you see what's wrong here?"
You nodded and spoke at the same time, "Yes Mr. Murphy."
His eyes narrowed in on you, "I'm sure you've learned your lesson."
You nodded again, "Yes Mr. Murphy."
Finally, he turned away from you, grabbing his book and putting it on the podium, "All right students- Everyone turn to page three of chapter one, we'll begin where we left off."
Despite being out of the spotlight, your knees were still shaking as you grabbed your book and flipped the pages.
Of course its an English teacher that's mean- it always is the English teacher.
Already there's two unpleasant people you have to deal with- and you couldn't help but wonder how many more there would be.

That whole class was a wreck of nervousness, as every time he looked around for someone to call on, your adrenaline would skyrocket. Almost like a roller coaster, only more heartwrenching than before.
Thankfully, that class passed, and the next person that rolled on in was this really chill old guy, that made that class period roll past so quickly you barely even noticed what was going on. No really, we were supposed to be learning about some historical thing, but he kept going off on weird rants about Hindu gods, and junk. He even insisted that people call him whatever they felt like, and some of the more testing kids called him Piggy.
Yes Yes, you were thinking he would get mad, but nope. He rolled with it and spouted something about hope and faithfulness- in the end giving approval of the name.
He was bald, short, and his skin held a pink blush no matter what situation. Hence the nickname, but unlike other students, you were respectful, and actually called his name- Mr Pias, a first name still, but its got mr. on it.
And sure, people complained about how long the school day was, but to be fair, the rest of the day went by just as quick, as most of the teachers were much nicer then "the dragon" as student liked to call Mr. Murphy behind his back. Some were slightly more bristly then others, but they still tried to keep an open mind.
Now it was the end of the day. Bell ringing, and students beginning their talks about whatever they felt was important. Your seat partner was gone the rest of the school day, even up to this point- there was no tall monotone teen sitting next to you.
You were glad about that.
Another thing you noticed was the fact that everyone kept eyeballing you- and no- that isn't a play on words for the fact that your eyeball is now a black eye, but their stares cut through you pointedly- again, not a play on words for the cut on your cheek.
The last thing you wanted in school was for people to find you the odd one, and that's exactly what happened. You didn't blame your seat partner, and you wouldn't hold a grudge, but it held a bit of a bitter taste in your mouth.
Finally, bus numbers started to be called out.
Thankfully, your bus was the first bus called. As you always say, its better to get things over with- and getting to the bus meant a faster 'getting things over with' then if you sat there quietly in the classroom.
Shoving all your books into your book bag, you took off into the hallways, walking despite wanting to run.
Surprise Surprise, most people were looking at you as you walked. It was agonizing.
"Hey!! (Y/N)!! Wait up!!"
Hearing a familiar voice behind you, you turned your head, only to be almost knocked over by a running cannonball. Your cheek was pressed uncomfortably against someone's chest, and you neck was all but bent the wrong way.
"Haha!! I thought I wouldn't catch up to you!"
Looking up, you recognized the face to be Wolf. He let go of you rather quickly though, instead standing next to you. You in return gave a greeting, "Hey wolf."
He smiled at your acknowledgment, but quickly continued what he was going to say, "You have the same bus as me. I think- I mean we both came out around the same time."
You smiled, "Yeah- I guess so."
Your glad you made friends with him. He looked so much more mean back at lunch, but now he's calling your name and running to catch up with you. It made you happy.
At that, you both started walking together. Wolf kept ranting about his annoying sisters, and his older brother, but it was pleasant none the less.
Finally making it outside, you both walked towards the same bus.
"Yup- we do have the same bus." You cut into his rant.
He nodded to show he heard you before looking at you, "Wanna... have a race for it???"
"A race?" You looked at him.
"Yeah a race! You know, just to get the blood pumping!"
"Haha- sure dude." You crouched a bit, putting on leg forward, "Ready when you are."
He crouched down too, "Let's do this!"
Both of us took of in a sprint, pushing on leg in front of the other. It almost seemed like I would win, because one second he's next to me, then the next he was way farther back.
You laughed a bit, actually winning the race, as you were just about to reach the door. But like magic, Wolf was suddenly right there and he pranced up the steps just in front of you.
The both of you were panting wildly, smiles on your faces. By then you couldn't help but laugh, Wolf joining in while still panting.
After settling down though, you both chose a seat, somewhere near the middle of the bus.
"Ah man- I'm glad I met you Wolf." You had the window seat, so you watched the other kids come out of the building.
"Why's that?" He questioned.
"I'd be so much more awkward and nervous without a friend..." You continued to watch the other students.
"Friends...?" He asked suspiciously. You looked at him in alarm, worried at his tone of voice.
"More LiKe BEST Friends!!!!" He slammed one of his arms around your shoulder, pulling you down as he smiled wide-grinned in your face.
And yeah. The both of you laughed about that too.

Home at last, you walked through the front door. The house was empty.
Dropping your book bag on the ground, you walked into the kitchen and opened the cabinet. Grabbing a bag of popcorn, you popped it in the microwave and pressed a button.
You didn't bother to call out for your mother, as she was at work right about now. Your dad- living in another house. As classic as divorced parents are, its what had happened.
And hey, living in an empty house wasn't that bad! You get free time all to yourself!
Sighing, you opened the beeping microwave and grabbed the bag out.
You supposed this bag of popcorn would settle your loneliness. Opening it and shoving a few of the buttery hot food into your mouth.
Know what? You hadn't finished that one anime...
Dashing upstairs as fast as you could, you almost tripped on the steps, but making it to your room, you opened your laptop to the episode you were on.
Aww yeah- now we're talking.
Kawai desu mother cluckas!- nothin' can stop you from watching your anime!
