Meeting Again

Gym was as painful as it had ever been.

Now a sweating and gross mess, you had changed into your normal clothes. The pink puff you had kept seeing was there again, shyly making her way to the exit of the changing rooms.

You followed suit, exiting and making your way to lunch.

This time around, you were caught in the rush of lunch, people heading every which way to get to the cafeteria, or their own home brought lunches.

Several people elbowed you by accident, barely stopping to apologize, while the other majority stepped on your feet. Either way, you hated crowds.

You could spot Endre making his way to the cafeteria, but you didn't bother calling out, or heading towards him. You needed to get to the lunch lockers.

By the time you managed to get their, the crowd had began to clear up, most not having a home brought lunch.

Opening your locker, you grabbed your lunch. Staring passively at the stiff material, you let out a long sigh. You felt exhausted. From class, to gym, and now a crowded room with hungry students.

"Hey."

Slamming the locker shut in your own surprise, you whipped around to look at where the voice came from.

Lo and behold, the source of all your teachers frustration was standing there, green dyed hair prominent, and custom made jacket free of dirt. The cocky grin he sport was bigger then you've seen it be.

You furrowed your eyebrows, "...hey."

Hands nestled comfortably in his jackets pockets, he glanced over your stiff posture, "How ya doin'?" He asked simply.

Relaxing the best you could, you let your hands unfurl from their clenched position, "Decent. Have had better. How bout you?"

He rose his eyebrows, "Absolutely fantastic- you ain't gonna believe the the stories I gots to tell."

Smiling at his enthusiasm, you rose an eyebrow yourself, "Oh yeah? Sounds like you've got a pretty interesting life."

"You bet, sucka." He turned to start walking in the opposite direction of the cafeteria, "Come on, noob- I've gotta tell you stuff."

Watching as he strode away, you stood rather unsurely. On one hand, you could get in trouble. In the other... not actually that much there- he's got stories to tell, but you didn't know him that well, so who knew what following him would get me.

Pursing my lips, you stared at his back- he was walking slow so you could catch up.

"Hey- sorry dude- but my friends waiting for me at lunch!" You called to him, intently watching as he turned back around to look at you with a raised brow.

"Yeah? Well who cares- go get em, they can come along too." He made a shooing motion with his hand, waving you off so you'd go and get your friend.

Welp- there goes your plan to getting out of going with him. You supposed having your friend there would make you feel more safe though, so you sucked it up, and wandered into the lunch room.

Wolf was sitting, munching on his sandwich as he waited for you. All by himself. As usual.

Stopping in front of his table, you tapped it, and gestured for him to stand up, "Hey Wolf- there's this dude that wants me to come with him- you want to come too?"

Wolf made a face, disgruntled really, "(Y/N)- you would really follow a predator to a second location?"

Snorting, you shook your head, "What? Noo- I've met this dude before." Grabbing wolves hand, you pulled him out of his seat, "He's weird, and kind of cocky, but it'd be rude to just ignore him."

Wolf rose an eyebrow, "I mean- I'll follow you wherever the crap you wanna go- but I'm questioning if you really feel like you need to go through with it."

Looking him in the eye, you grinned, "Yes, I feel the need to be a nice person- grab your lunch."

Wolf complied, grabbing his lunch and following you out of the lunch room.

Creet- or whatever his name was, had his back resting on the wall, waiting with a tapping foot and impatient sway. He glanced up, meeting eyes with you and letting his smug grin come back, "Ah- Noob, and noob's friend- let's go."

Waving his hand, he turned, and started to walk away.

Wolf seemed to have second thoughts, staring at the green haired teenager with a face that all but yelled he didn't trust or like him, "I don't appreciate you calling (Y/N) a noob."

Creed merely glanced at Wolf, continuing his walk and giving a sneer, "Hah- Thin skinned, aren't you."

Wolf huffed, crossing his arms and clutching his lunch in his fist.

Deciding it was better to keep a move on, you began following the green haired imp, Wolf following suit with his arms still firmly pressed against his chest.

For awhile, you traveled in peace through the school's halls. You anxiously wondered the consequences if a teacher saw you out here. In trouble and written up because of being associated with the person they were so frustrated with being the most probable options.

"Psst- dude- you know where we're going- yeah?" You whispered to whatever his name was.

"Of course I do- I'm a pro." He gave you a smirk, "And by that, I know exactly where every staff member is at this exact moment- so we're in the clear."

Wolf gave a huff, "Off topic comment- I'm still mad you insulted my best bud."

Smiling at Wolf, you patted his shoulder, "Aww- that's sweet-" you wrapped your arm around his shoulder, "Thanks my bro."

He grinned back, "Yip- anythin' foe my bro."

This time Creed made a face, "Bleck- you guys are giving me a tooth ache with how cheesy you both are." He stuck out his tongue, faking a choke, before laughing and looking forward again.

You laughed as well, rocking Wolf with your arm as you walked together.

A thought struck you when you glanced at Wolf again, his puppy eyes squinting at you, "I don't have your phone number actually. You got one?"

Wolf nodded with his little grin, shifting his hands to his pocket and opening his phone. A pretty cool looking phone actually, a sleek black color around the edges, and maroon highlights.

He handed it to you, while you reached for your own, "Takes a bit to turn on."

"Eh- no worries." Wolf shrugged.

Typing in your password and pulling up the contacts, you traded phones with Wolf.

Wolf had... a LOT of numbers. Siblings- you knew he had a lot but wow- all of them had Wolf as a last name, and the only two odd contacts were simply Mom and Dad. Typing in yours, you saved your name before passing the phone back.

"Hey- add me too." Creed passed his red and white phone to you abruptly. You had to keep from dropping it when he kept walking.

"Sure- I guess." Typing in your number, you decided to spice your name up, the letters popping up as you clicked them.

His contact list wasn't as empty as you pictured it to be, a lot of people- most of which had nicknames, like 'Skelator man' and 'Mr. Corpse.' Honestly, he seemed to be on good terms with a lot of people.

'Best noob.'

Hehe- That's a good contact name.

Tapping Creed's shoulder, you gave him his phone back, which he took with a quick nab. He took one look at your contact name and laughed, "Haha! You pick up quick don't you! Soon you'll just have to be 'amateur,'" He paused and squinted at his you, "which let's be real, isn't as catchy."

Wolf gave Creed another look, gently setting your phone in your hands- to which Creed quickly snatched and began typing in his number. Again- Wolf looked appalled opening his mouth and taking quick glances between your phone, and your hands.

Eventually though, Wolf sucked it up and huffed, before glancing at you with a teasing look, "'Tall Boi Next Door'- eh...?"

You chuckled, "Hah- yes. That's my seat partner."

Wolf laughed as well, "I'd assume he's a decent seat partner then?"

Nodding you took your phone back from Creed, "Yup- he's actually pretty sweet when you get to know him." Ruffling Wolf's floof hair, you smiled, "Kinda like you- only ten times as shy and awkward."

Creed froze, making both you and Wolf stop walking.

"Waaaait." He said, turning around to look at you.

"WAAIT....." His eyes got wider and his grin was akin to that of the Cheshire cat.

"Your friends with the dude that nailed your face????!" Creed said it with so much enthusiasm that you saw spit fly out of his mouth, "HAH! HAHAH-" He pointed a finger at you, "DUDE- You know that the guy has serious issues. Like serious issues."

Wolf looked shocked, turning to you, "Wait- some dude punched you in the face???" He didn't let you answer, cracking his knuckled and glaring, "I'm gonna hit him so hard."

"No- no no no- stop." You waved your arms frantically- "He totally didn't mean to punch me- he does it to everyone who looks him in the eye!" You turned to Creed, "And of course I'm friends with him- he apologized to me!"

The green haired imp didn't appear to hear you, busting his ass over why you decided to be friends with him. "Ooooow- My sides hurt so much- I haven't laughed like this in so long-"

With one person cracking up over your life choices, and the other getting ready to beat down your new friend, one couldn't help but feel rather embarrassed. A heat began spreading over your face, as you squinted at them both.

Your mood turned for the worse, as you huffed with a bitter sound, "Way to make someone feel bad about their life."

Creed just laughed, slinging an arm around your shoulder and forcing you to walk next to him, "Aww~ is someone grwumpy~"

Wolf huffed at Creed, grabbing his arm off of your shoulders and walking between the two of you, "No touchy my fran."

Everyone went silent after that, leaving you to your now self-conscious thoughts. Should you really have become friends with the dude that punched you? He can't control that- it's just something that happens. If anything- he's the one who needs a friend- his contact list is a desert.

No- your not going to be ashamed of being his friend. He really needs it- and if your entirely honest- you really need friends too.

Head now held high- you all kept following Creed to wherever he was leading you.

Up steps you went- traveling and traveling until your group reached a roof.

You rose an eyebrow when Creed stopped, glancing back at you with a small smirk, "Hope your not afraid of heights." before he kneeled down, pulling a paper clip out of his pocket.

A bit of fiddling, and the door clicked, now unlocked.

"Alright- I'm not gonna question why you know how to do that." You pursed your lips, eyebrow still raised as he simply eyed you with a smirk.

Wandering through the door, he beckoned you inside with a wave of his hand, smirking at you before looking neutrally at wolf.

He closed the door after the both of you walked out.

The first thing to hit you was how heavy the wind was, your hair splaying out behind you the closer you drew to the edge.

The breeze wasn't the only thing- it was cold, a chill running down your spine faster then you could rub your arms. Everything was misty, the coat of rain on the roof splashing as wolf tromped up next to you.

He looked mildly impressed, pressing a hand to the fence and glancing down at the ground.

"...that's high..."

"Not as high as my dad." Creed popped up next to Wolf with a smirk, to which Wolf just looked at him blankly before glancing back down at the ground.

"So- let's eat."

You turned to Creed, finally pulling your eyes off of how far the ground was, "Where?- it's kinda wet everywhere."

Creed simply rolled his eyes with a mock, "Oh yee of little faith- come here ya noob," He walked back towards the door, waving a hand, "There's a little roof type thing back here. Pretty convenient for when it rains."

Wolf looked at you, nudging your elbow and leaning over to whisper in your ear, "You really trust him?"

In response, you could only shrug, taking the first step forward, wolf right behind you.

Wandering around the door, there indeed was a little roof, a bench sitting cozily between two concrete walls. Creed was already sitting, comfortably taking up a space in the middle.

"Problem?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Wolf glared, "Yes- how am I supposed to fit next to my friend?"

Creed rolled his eyes, scooting over to make room, "You aren't much of a joker- are you?"

Wolf huffed, sitting next to him, "Nah- you're just not my cup of tea."

"I'm hurt-" The smirk on his face betrayed his tone of voice, and you laughed, before finally taking your seat next to Wolf.

After that, everyone began to silently eat there lunches. Wolf- a classic ham sandwich as always. Creed just shoved a nutri-grain bar in his face, one that had been rather scrunched up in his pocket.

You, on the other hand, had chips galore, as a full bag of Doritos was in there, nothing else.

Plucking up the note inside it, you read it off in your head,

'Hi honey! Sorry, but there's no lunch meat- could you walk over to the store for me? I left money on the end table. Love ya~'

Frowning, you tucked the note back into your lunch box, before opening the bag of Doritos. Healthy lunch. Yup, totally.

After that, you took to furiously jamming chips into your mouth, crunching and pondering the inevitable awkwardness you'll have to deal with when you pay for lunch meat at the cash register.

"Yo- toss me chippsss."

Glancing to your right, you looked Creed in his eyes head on before throwing chips at him.

"Woah- geeze- you murderous person-" One of the chips had gone down his shirt, and with a hesitant laugh, you grinned at him.

"Haha- one of them went down!" Laughing, you put more chips into your mouth, crunching them with a chuckle as Creed struggled to find all of the chips you threw at him.

Even Wolf let out a snicker, "Hehe- noob."

"Noice-" you said, holding your hand out for a bro-fist. He returned it, still snickering at Creed.

Huffing, Creed finally settled down with hand of cheesy chips, "Your insults mean nothing to the likes of a god-" He smirked, "At a pro level like mine- I kind of am."

Simultaneously, you and Wolf rolled your eyes and laughed, you being the once to voice the, "Suure."

After that, you all kept eating in silence, Creed every now and then asking for you to pass him more chips.

Which you did.

Handing them to him rather then throwing them.

You thought Creed had some sort of a story to tell to you, but he didn't say anything of the like. One could only assume that having Wolf here made him withhold whatever it was he was going to tell you.

Nevertheless even if it was cold, it was pleasant being up this high, breeze brushing your hair against your face. It tickled.

All of you finished at around the same time- the combined eating of both you and Creed quickly depleting your bag.

Standing up, you stretched, before looking at Creed, "So- when are the hallways safe?"

Creed stood up as well, looming over you for a second before brushing past you and towards the stairs, "Well- it's relatively safe." He shrugged.

"Drake will be just finishing his tea right about now, and once he finishes, he does a lot of things that aren't scheduled, so we can't be completely safe." Glancing back at you he finger gunned, "But 'ey- worst case scenario, we walk down the steps just as he walks out of the faculty lounge, and boom- he assumes we were on the roof."

You stared at him, impressed, "Wow- that is actually impressive- How'd you figure that stuff out?"

He smirked, "Lots of time, and hidden cameras. There isn't anything in this school that happens, that I don't know about."

Wolf trotted up next to you, "How reassuring."

You started walking after Creed, "My thoughts exactly."
