In my eyes, you're perfect (part 5)
This is gonna be your kick off to 25 days of Appledash, cuz I didn't have time to write out a decent winter themed chapter. And this is the last part of this story XD Enjoy
Applejack and Rainbow Dash heard the door sliding open. The two girls were pulled out of their cuddle session. Applejack immediately sat up in attention. The curtain was pulled back a little, a male doctor walking around it. He smiled at them.
"Hello, ladies. I'm Dr.Heartman."
He glanced at Rainbow Dash.
"I'm assuming you're Rainbow Dash?"
Rainbow nodded in confirmation. The doctor put down his clipboard. He put hand sanitizer on his hands, rubbing them together.
"So can you tell me what happened?", he asked. "I took a look at the records of your injuries and they look pretty bad."
The man took a seat in the wheeled stool by the computer. He logged into it, the clacking sound of the keys seemed much louder than they should be.
Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash. She looked uncomfortable. AJ gently squeezed her hand, reassuring her that it was alright. Rainbow looked at her, a look of pain and fear in her eyes. Applejack wrapped an arm around her waist.
"It's ok, baby. Ah'm here. It's ok." She whispered, so quietly, only Rainbow could hear.
The doctor turned around. He wheeled himself over to the girls.
"Rainbow. Can you tell me what happened?" He asked again.
Rainbow gulped. She took a deep breath and released it.
"Um, I got beat up in school."
The doctor's face was one of shock.
"Oh my goodness. Bullies, perhaps?"
Rainbow looked down at her lap.
"I guess." She mumbled out loud.
The doctor nodded slowly, as if processing the information.
"Are you getting bullied, Rainbow??" He then asked.
Rainbow started playing with her hair. She didn't reply. AJ nudged her gently.
"Baby. He asked you a question. It's alright. You can be honest here."
Rainbow looked at Applejack. The two stared at each other for a moment before Rainbow broke eye contact. She nodded meekly.
"Yeah."
"Have you told anyone you trust and know about this?".
"Kinda." Rainbow have a partial shrug.
The doctor continued to type down notes. He suddenly stopped, staring at the screen. He looked over his shoulder at Rainbow Dash.
"Um, it says here your weight is 99 pounds."
Rainbow's heart dropped. This was the last thing she wanted to talk about. The doctor wheeled himself in front of her, hands clasped.
"Are you on a diet right now. Cuz from I'm reading on your chart, you're underweight. Is there a reason for that?"
Rainbow bit her lip. Should she?
She felt her hand being gently squeezed.
"Please, Rainbow."
AJ quietly said. "Tell em. I just want cha better."
Rainbow Dash looked at AJ. The older girl had a pained and concerned look in her eyes. Rainbow never wanted to be the reason for AJ to look that way. Her eating habits needed to stop. She knew it was killing her. She needed help. She knew what she needed to do.
She looked at the doctor.
"I-I'm um...... I think I'm anorexic...."
"Anorexic? So, you're starving yourself. Why? Is it the bullying?"
Rainbow nodded, looking away.
"The girls at my school. Um..... they say I'm fat and that I need to lose weight. Everyone else looks skinny and pretty and stuff, but I don't."
The doctor smiled gently.
"Well, thank you for telling me the truth. That was brave of you. Rainbow, I'm gonna recommend you some eating disorder recovery hospitals nearby. And I strongly encourage you to see a nutritionist, and see what they say. And seeing a psychologist that treats teens with eating disorders, I think, would be very helpful to you. I'll give these to your uncle and I'll talk to him. If you get this situation at school dealt with, then recovery for you will be a lot easier. You're beautiful just the way you are, ok? You were perfectly healthy before this. Did you know that the average weight for a girl your age and height is about 110 pounds?"
Rainbow's eyes widened.
The man nodded.
"It is. So, you're actually underweight and from what I can see, very thin compared to what you should look like. It's unhealthy, and I think the sooner you start treatment for this, the better."
Rainbow could only nod. The man turned back to his computer and typed some more. Rainbow's heart was racing. She couldn't believe she had just done that. Told someone about what was going on at school.
The doctor finished up. A female doctor then came in and did a physical exam on Rainbow. Applejack stayed with Rainbow the whole time, her heart breaking at the sight of the injuries on Rainbow's body. Once they were alone once more, Rainbow Dash turned her head and looked at Applejack.
"I'm sorry." She said.
Applejack's eyebrows furrowed together.
"Why? This ain't your fault." She said.
"I'm sorry that you have to deal with this." Rainbow clarified. "With me and my problems. You shouldn't have to."
Applejack looked surprised for a second before she shook her head.
"No, baby. Don't apologize for nothin'. This ain't your fault. And I'll gladly help you through this. I'm glad you told me what was goin' on."
Applejack pressed a kiss to Rainbow's forehead.
"I love you, RD, and I'm gonna do whatever it takes to keep ya safe and sound."
Rainbow was pulled into a hug. Rainbow could smell the cinnamon and green apple shampoo in AJ's hair. It calmed her down a little. She felt safe in her girlfriend's arms. Everything was going to get better. She knew it.

Rainbow Dash opened her locker. She looked around cautiously, to see if anyone was looking. They weren't there. Good.
Rainbow reached into her bag and pulled out her books. She set her books into her locker. Rainbow looked up at the red lunchbox that was placed on the shelf of her locker. Rainbow smiled to herself.
Applejack. She reached up and grabbed it. Rainbow closed her locker, and began to held towards the lunchroom. She paused.
Trixie, Gilda, and the Dazzling sisters were standing around down the hall. Rainbow froze up. Flashbacks of what had happened days before ran through her mind. Rainbow Dash turned around. She leaned against the lockers, sliding her phone out of her pocket.
She quickly sent a text to Applejack, telling her the situation. Rainbow glanced over her shoulder. The girls were still there. Rainbow looked away, when she felt her phone vibrate in her hand.
Applejack had responded a minute later. She texted Rainbow to stay there and that she was on her way with the other girls. Rainbow felt relieved that she wouldn't have to be alone for much longer.
"Hey, Rainbow Freak." A voice called, not too far away.
Rainbow froze. Her mind went into a panic. She turned around. Gilda, Trixie and the Dazzlings were walking towards her. This was not good. Rainbow decided that waiting around for her friends and AJ would not be a good idea. She quickly walked away, trying to get past the girls. Gilda lunged at her, grabbing her by the upper arm.
"Hey, Dash." Gilda said, a smirk on her face.
"I don't want any trouble, Gilda. I just want to get to lunch." Rainbow said.
She tried to pull away, but Gilda wasn't having it. She grabbed Rainbow by the shirt. Rainbow jerked in surprise, dropping her lunchbox on the floor.
Her heart began to pound in her chest. Gilda pushed her up against the lockers.
"I heard you ratted ya out." She growled.
The threat the group of girls had a told her ran through Rainbow's mind. She began to sweat nervously. She mentally prayed the girls would be there soon.
"I-I didn't." Rainbow stammered. "I swear. No one knows it was you guys. Please, just let me go."
Adagio scoffed.
"Why are you leaving so soon? Can't we have a talk?"
Gilda shoved Rainbow to the ground. Rainbow fell to her knees. Her world started spinning. Rainbow gripped her head with a hand, her eyes squeezed shut.
A sudden kick to the stomach knocked the air out of Rainbow.
Not again.
"Stop it." She begged.
Rainbow curled up, shielding herself with her arms. Another kick to her side. Rainbow cried out in a pain.
"HEY!"
Rainbow looked up.
Applejack, their friends and a teacher stood there, not looking happy.
"Get. Away. From. Her." Applejack ordered, marching over to them.
Applejack stood in between Rainbow and the bullies. She glared at the girls.
"Ah knew it. Rainbow hasn't said who has been harassin' her, but you'd have to be blind to not figure it out."
The teacher that was with the other girls walked up to the bullies.
"Come with me." They said. "Now. Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna have already been notified of this behavior."
The girls glared at Applejack once they realized they were in trouble. The Dazzlings, Trixie and Gilda grudgingly followed the teacher to what they assumed was the Principal's office. The girls watched them walk down the hall and around the corner.
Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, Sunset, and Pinkie all looked at each other, unsure of what to do next. Applejack, on the other hand, turned around and knelt down in front of Rainbow Dash.
"Are you hurt?" She asked, checking Rainbow for any visible injuries.
Rainbow let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.
"I'm fine, I think."
She suddenly hissed in pain, holding her stomach.
"They kicked me." She groaned. "Owww"
"Lemme see." AJ said.
Rainbow moved her arms away. AJ pulled Rainbow's shirt up to get a look at her stomach. There was huge black and blue bruises already forming on Rainbow's stomach and rib area. She cringed at the sight.
"That's gonna hurt for a few days." She mumbled.
She pulled the shirt back down. She smiled gently at her girlfriend.
"C'mon, baby." She said. "Let's head to the nurse's office n' call Strike or mah dad. You need to go home."
Rainbow didn't protest as AJ lifted her up off the floor, practically carrying her the whole way. The halls were empty so they had privacy and no stares or questions to worry about.
They got to the nurse's office. The nurse checked Rainbow's injuries and was told the situation. She agreed that Rainbow should go home and rest. To their surprise, Strike was already in the building. He had been talking to Principal Celestia in her office and was told about what had happened. He went to the nurse and was furious when Rainbow showed him the bruises. He told the girls that the Principals intended on expelling the girls from school.
Rainbow had never felt so relieved to hear about someone getting expelled.
Applejack went along with Rainbow and Strike. The other girls got permission to leave early as well from their parents and from principal Celestia and Luna. The girls and Strike all headed over to Rainbow and Applejack's house.

Rainbow was lying on the living room couch, wearing sweats and a T-shirt she stole from Applejack. She was curled up in a ball, her head resting on a pillow, ignoring the conversation between her friends. She was exhausted. Her stomach growled. She hadn't eaten lunch yet and her head was beginning to ache.
As if she were a psychic of some sort, Applejack came into the room, holding Rainbow's lunch bag.
"Since we didn't get to eat at school, we'll eat now." AJ said, sitting down beside Rainbow Dash.
She handed her the bag. Rainbow stared at it for a bit. She slowly unpacked the lunch. There was a sandwich, a chocolate protein shake in a drink container, and a multigrain bar. Rainbow looked at Applejack. Applejack gave her a look.
"What? There's gotta be something in there that you'll eat. Ah gave you options."
Rainbow's shoulders slouched.
"I'm sorry." She sighed. "I just......."
Rainbow looked down at the food. So much calories. She'd gain weight. Rainbow subconsciously ran her hand over her stomach.
"No, baby." Applejack said, shaking her head.
AJ moved Rainbow's hand. She clutched it in her own.
"Ah will tell you this every day if AJ have ya. You're perfect the way you are. I love you, Rainbow and it honestly kills me inside to know that you think so terribly about yourself. I just want you to be happy and healthy. Those girls at school were just bullies who liked to mess with ya. But they were wrong. You don't need to be afraid of food. You need ta trust your body and know that it's not try'na make you fat, or anything. Your body is just tryin' to stay alive. Starvin' yourself is doin' only bad for you. You'll die, Rainbow. Don't cha understand that? You could die if this keeps goin' on. Ah can't lose you, Rainbow. I can't let you do this to yourself. Let me help you get better. Ah don't care how long it takes. You need some help."
Applejack had tears in her eyes. Rainbow stared at her, emotionless. She looked down at the floor. She shyly played the hem of Applejack's flannel.
"I just wanted to be good enough." She admitted.
Applejack took her by the arms.
"You are good enough. More than enough."
Rainbow looked up at her, making eye contact.
"I wanted to be good enough for you, too. I wanted to look good enough to deserve someone as beautiful as you."
Applejack's shoulders slouched. Her heart broke.
"Oh, Baby. You are enough for me. You're my everythin. My world. You don't gotta starve yourself for me. You're the most beautifulest girl in this world."
Applejack lifted a hand and touched Rainbow's cheek.
"I want you to stop this madness. Ah can't let you continue to kill yourself like this."
Rainbow bit her lip, concern in her eyes.
"I can't stop. I don't know how. It's just..... too addicting. The hunger pains are so addicting to me and I actually like this feeling. I know that's bad. Very bad. But I can't quit. Whenever I look in the mirror, all I see is fat and grossness and it's disgusting. I can't stand it."
Rainbow slowly shook her head, looking down at the floor.
"I can't stop. I can't-"
"Then we'll get cha some help." Applejack cut her off. "Counselin', therapy, eating disorder programs. Hell, I'll go as far as ta get you admitted to a hospital if it comes down to it. You're gonna get the help you need. Ah promise."
Rainbow hugged Applejack, emotions bubbling up.
"I'm scared. I-I don't wanna die." She said, her voice cracking
Applejack wrapped her arms around Rainbow Dash. She held her protectively in her arms.
"You won't. Not if I have anythin' to do with it. You're gonna be ok. You're not alone, Rainbow."
Rainbow nodded, a small smile on her face. For the first time in a while, she didn't feel alone anymore. She had Applejack.
So yeah. Not completely happy with the ending, but I tried
