I'm bad at posting every day. Lol enjoy this small chapter, I hope. :)

Applejack huffed in exhaustion. She stood up straight, looking at her work. A huge pile of leaves was before her.

Applejack felt proud of herself. She had been working out on the yard all morning. The chill of the autumn morning had left the leaves moist and she took the opportunity to rake them up.

Applejack put the rake on the ground, taking her phone out of the pocket of her jacket.

"CANNON BALL!" A scream made her jump and her head snapped up. She saw a flash of colors and then next thing she knew, the perfect pile of leaves was ruined. Leaves were flying everywhere.

AJ's jaw dropped. Rainbow was sitting in the middle of what was a pile of leaves, smiling widely. Rainbow stood up, dusting herself off.

"Hey, AJ. You make good leaf piles." She said, as if she hadn't just ruined AJ's hard work in mere seconds.

Applejack matched up to her.

"C'mere you." She commanded.

Rainbow realized she was in trouble. She began to back away, giggling.

"No." She said, shaking her head. "You're gonna kill me."

"No ah won't." AJ denied. "C'mere, Rainbow."

Rainbow continued to shake her head.

Applejack began to run after her. Rainbow turned and ran. Applejack chased her around the yard, a few times one of them nearly tripping or slipping on the still slightly wet ground.

Eventually Applejack took a cheat and was able to catch up to the speedy little devil. She caught Rainbow by her waist. The two fell down on to the grass. Applejack slowly lowered them both, tickling Rainbow's sides. Rainbow cackled, her laughter echoing in the open air.

"OK. S-TOP, AJ. Stahhhhp!!" She cackled, trying to wiggle out of Applejack's grasp.

Applejack released her, pushing her away. Rainbow breathed in air. She scrambled to her feet. AJ chuckled, getting to her feet.

"You're annoyin'" She said, shaking her head. "You're helpin' me rake em' all back into a pile n' put em into that trash bag."

Rainbow nodded her head. She helped AJ collect all the leaves into the bag. It took a little while, but it was done. Rainbow tossed the bag of leaves into the garbage can.

"There." She said.

She turned to Applejack.

"Let's go inside." She suggested. "It's feeling a little cold outside."

AJ nodded. "Alright, babe."

She took Rainbow's hand as they headed towards the house. Their fingers linked together. Applejack looked at her.

"You owe me some hot chocolate for ruinin' that leaf pile." She noted. "Just sayin'"

Rainbow giggled. She pecked the other teen on the cheek. She stepped closer to AJ, smirking.

"I can think of something much better. Making out sound good?"

Applejack was not expecting that. Her cheeks reddened in a deep blush. She simply turned and pulled Rainbow Dash inside.

Rainbow took that as a yes.

So yup. I already fail at 25 days of AD. Surprise, surprise 😒. I'm trying, guys. I really am.
