"What's blushing??."

Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie looked up at Rainbow. Rainbow was sitting on the floor, her chew toy in hand, looking up at Rarity.

Rarity blinked. "Excuse me??"

"What's blushing??." Rainbow repeated.

Rarity put her phone down, raising an eyebrow.

"Why do you want to know??."

Rainbow shifted. "Because a few days ago Applejack said that I was blushing when I said my face felt warm. She told me to ask you what that means."

Rarity grinned. "You were blushing??."

Rainbow shrugged. "I've never really felt that way before."

Rarity, Pinkie, and Fluttershy grinned at each other. They awwwwed. Rainbow looked at them, confused.

"Rainbow, darling." Rarity said, sliding down to the floor. She sat in front of Rainbow Dash.

"When you blush, it means you're embarrassed or flustered." She explained. "Were you blushing because of something Applejack did or said??."

Rainbow nodded.

"She was telling me that she really cares about me. More than she should, she said."

"And how did that make you feel??." Rarity grinned, leaning closer to Rainbow.

Rainbow shrugged. "Special. I liked that she cares about me. I care about her too. A lot."

"And how do you feel around her??."

Rainbow thought about it.

"My stomach flips around like pancake when she smiles at me and I get nervous to talk to her. And I think she's really pretty."

Rarity giggled, clapping her hands excitedly. "My goodness, Rainbow Dash. You have a crush on Applejack."

Rainbow tilted her head. "You think so, too??. I thought so, but I just thought I was crazy."

"You like her." Pinkie teased loudly

Rainbow shushed her. She looked at the doorway to make sure Applejack wasn't there. She looked around at the girls.

"Don't keep saying it so loudly." She said in a panic. "I don't want her to know."

"Why not??." Fluttershy asked from the couch.

"She might like you back."

Rainbow shook her head. "I-I just can't tell her. It wouldn't be good for her."

Rarity frowned. "What are talking about??."

Rainbow sighed. "I don't fit in, guys. If Applejack's fans and stuff find out if we did date, they might not look at Applejack the same way anymore. She'll be known as the singer that's dating a freak. Plus, I'd be such a burden to her. She already feels like she has to protect me when we go places. If we date, she'll want to protect me even more. I don't want to cause anything."

Rainbow looked at Rarity, hopelessly.

"I can't tell her. I want to, but I can't."

Rainbow's ears dropped even lower than they already were. She pulled her knees to her chest.

"Plus, she wouldn't like a freak like me." She mumbled, punching her leg and crossed her arms. "No one would."

"Rainbow Dash." Rarity scolded. "You are not a freak. How dare you say such a thing."

Rainbow looked at her then looked away.

"Yes, I am."

The others looked at each other. They had to do something.

Applejack sighed. "And yeah. That's just how ah few 'bout her. Kinda corny but-."

"It's not." Sunset Shimmer said. "I know I just met Rainbow Dash today, but she seems like an amazing person to hang around with. Plus, she kinda cute, so I can see why you'd like her."

Applejack sat back in her bed.

"Ah can't tell her." She shook her head

Twilight frowned. "What?? Why??."

Applejack sighed. "She's new ta all this. The cameras, the attention, and as soon as people find out about her, the eyes that'll always be watchin' her and stalkin' her for life. And if mah fans don't like her, they'll give her hell ta pay. Hate and rude remarks on the internet and such. She had a frikkin' panic attack the first time paparazzi saw her. Ah don't want her life ta get out of her control so quickly. It'll be too much for her. She hasn't even been to an interview with me or anywhere work related since Ah'm on a two week break for her. Mah dad said it was good ta get her used ta me and bond with her so she's comfortable with me."

AJ shrugged. "Ah don't wanna overwhelm her and put her life out in the public. It's not fair."

"Applejack." Sunset said. "I think her life is already out for the public to see."

"Ah don't think she even likes girls, anyway." Applejack argued. "That's a thing. She could be straight."

Sunset, and Twilight looked at each other then at the pouty Applejack. They could tell Applejack really wanted Rainbow Dash. By the way she held Rainbow and babied her to no end and spoiled her rotten. Rainbow was just as smitten with her, always wanting Applejack to carry her around and holding on to her and unintentionally wanting her attention all the time. It was obvious that those two were falling for each other. Hard. And the girls would go as far to say that they loved each other.

"Ah just can't risk it." Applejack sighed, disappointment in her eyes. "Ah can't."

The other girls looked at each other.

"I'm gonna go find Rarity and the girls and see where they went to." Sunset said, standing up.

Sunset gave Twilight a look. Twilight understood and nodded. Applejack was looking at the floor and didn't notice the glance exchange.

Sunset walked out of the room. She turned a corner and bumped into someone.

"Ow."

Sunset stepped back. She looked up to see Rarity.

"Rarity. I'm so sorry."

Rarity rubbed her head, smiling.

"It's fine, darling. I was actually coming to find you and tell you something." Rarity gushed

Her face changed to an excited expression. Sunset smiled.

"I was gonna tell you something, too."

"Rainbow likes Applejack." Rarity whispered, nearly bursting with joy.

Sunset was taken back. "Really?!."

Rarity nodded, a face splitting smile on her face.

"Yes. Isn't it so cute??."

Sunset looked over her shoulder. She looked at Rarity and whispered in her ear.

"Applejack likes Rainbow Dash."

Rarity silently gasped. "Really??."

Sunset nodded.

"We have to do something." Rarity said. "We cannot just let them make themselves miserable by torturing themselves like this."

Sunset placed a hand on her hip, grinning.

"They need a little encouragement. Just a little push in the right direction to make them realize they both like one another. Maybe realizing that Rainbow likes Applejack back will make Applejack confess her feelings or vice versa."

The girls agreed. It was their mission. They just needed the other girls in on it and they'd get to work.

It had to work.
