All was calm that day. A gentle breeze from the east blew by the empty field. The smell of flowers and fresh air intoxicated the earth. The sun shone high through the clouds, filling the grassy green field with sunshine. It was a perfect day.

"C'mon guys!!".

Rainbow tugged Applejack and Twilight along the parking lot, the others not far behind.

"Calm it down, RD", Applejack said laughing, adjusting the bag she had on her shoulder. "The park'll still be there 24/7. It ain't gonna get up and walk away".

Rainbow gave her a look that said, 'No shit sherlock'. She continued to pull her towards the playground field. The group of teens stopped. Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash.

"So what do you wanna do??".

Rainbow immediately went up to Pinkie Pie. She smiled and poked her.

"You're it!!".

Rainbow back up a few feet. Pinkie smiled excitedly. Pinkie ran after Rainbow, the wolf hybrid girl turning and running away. Applejack looked at Twilight, arms crossed, a smirk on her face.

"Those two are the most energetic, annoyin' and most fun-loving gals ah've ever met".

Applejack, Twilight, Rarity, and Fluttershy went over to the swings. They stayed there while the two played.

The girls watched the two run around the park. Rainbow and Pinkie played on the playground, going up the steps and down the slides. They laughed and hollered, having the time of their lives. Applejack smiled, watching Rainbow.

At some point Rainbow's beanie fell off, revealing her wolf ears. Applejack got off the swing she was sitting on. She walked over to the fallen beanie. Picking it up, she dusted it off and walked back to the swings.

She sat down on the swings, looking at Rainbow. The hybrid teen was running around on all fours, racing Pinkie. Rainbow won of coarse. She was really fast.

Rainbow looked over at the girls. She looked at Pinkie. Applejack saw her say something to the curly haired girl. The two walked over to them. Rainbow walked on all fours. They came up to them. Rainbow stood up on two legs. She took Applejack's hand and gently pulled on her.

"Up", she said.

Applejack did as told and stood up. Rainbow pulled her away from the swing.

"Stay".

She walked over the empty seat and sat down. She smiled at Applejack.

"Tada!!. I did magic".

Applejack rolled her eyes. This girl. She chuckled and walked over to her. She went behind Rainbow, taking the swing chains in her hands.

"Want me ta swing ya??", she asked.

Rainbow nodded. "Yes please".

Applejack took a small step back. She gently pushed Rainbow foward. Rainbow smiled. The girls just chilled by the swings for a while.

The day grew hotter as the hours passed.

Rainbow was trotting around on all fours around the field. She felt a sudden heat wave hit her like a train.
She stopped, panting. Rainbow looked around. She saw the girls, sitting by the swings. It was far away. Rainbow was too hot to move So she did the logical thing. She got on her knees. She looked over at the girls.

"Applejack!!!!", she called.

Applejack looked at her.

Rainbow gathered up all the strength she had in her voice.

"COME HEEERE!!".

Rainbow was relieved when Applejack got up and walked over to her. Applejack stood in front of her, a hand on her hip.

"Yeah??".

Rainbow held out her arms.

"I can't move. Too hot".

Applejack knelt down. Rainbow licked her lips.

"Please".

Applejack sighed. "Fine".

Applejack got up. She picked up Rainbow and carried her like a child. Rainbow took her hat and put it on her own head. Applejack and her went back to the others.

"C'mon ya'll", Applejack said. "Twilight. You got the food?".

Twilight held up the basket. Applejack looked at Fluttershy.

"You got the cooler??".

Fluttershy held up the red and white cooler. Applejack looked around. She looked at the almosy empty field. She saw a few picnic tables nearby. There was only a few men in the field nearby.

"Let's go have somethin' ta eat??", she said. "There's a picnic table over there".

Applejack looked at Rainbow.

"Babe", she said quietly. "You wanna eat??".

Rainbow nodded. Applejack patted her back. The group of teens went out to the field to the table area. They picked a spot away from the men.

They sat down, setting the stuff down. They passed out the food and drinks. They talked as they ate.

Rainbow bit into her ham and cheese sandwich. She smiled

"Mmm dis is s goo", she said.

Applejack nudged. "Don't talk with a full mouth. Don't want cha ta choke".

Rainbow sighed and did as told. She gobbled her sandwich and went for her second one. She bit a giant chunk out of it. She chewed on her food as she looked around. She had a sudden uneasy feeling. Her eyes went to the men nearby. She couldn't help the feeling that something bad was going to happen.

"What's wrong??".

Rainbow turned her head. She saw the girls looking at her. She looked at Applejack.

She shook her head.

"Nothing. Just......".

Rainbow looked back at the men. She saw one of the just look away. Were they staring at them??.

She jumped when she felt a hand in hers. She turned her head. It was only Applejack. She relaxed.

"Don't scare me like that", she said.

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"Seriously. What's up??".

Rainbow shook her head, not making eye contact.

"It's probably nothing. It's stupid".

She bit into her sandwich. She didn't look at her friends, knowing they were looking at her. She sat silently, eating her sandwich.

Once she finished, Rainbow glanced over at Applejack who was still looking at her, her arms crossed. Rainbow looked at the table.

Wow. What a fascinating wood table. The way the corners were sawed and sand is so unique. Tables are interesting.

"Rainbow".

Rainbow tore her eyes Andrews from the wood. She looked behind her, at the men. They were still there. Ugh. Why won't they leave??.

She looked at Applejack. The blonde teen was looking at with a worried look on her face.

"You're scaring me, RD. What's wrong??. You can tell us".

Rainbow sighed. "Fine. Those men over there give me the creeps".

Applejack snuck a glance at the guys sitting by a large tree. She saw one of them looking at her, but he looked away. Applejack thought that was creepy. She looked at Rainbow.

"Me too. Is that what's bothering you so much??".

Rainbow looked at her lap, shrugging.

"I jut have at weird feeling is all", she said. "I just feel like something bad is going to happen".

Applejack wrapped an arm around her.

"Well, let's just be on the look out for anything suspicious".

Applejack put down her juice pouch.
She smiled.

"Let's play some catch", she said. "You gals up to it??".

The girls smiled. Rainbow smiled. She shot up to her feet.

"Yay!!".

"Over here!!".

Pinkie threw the frisbee towards Twilight. Twilight jumped up and grabbed it. The girls were playing from frisbee. They had fun, completely forgetting about Rainbow's fears from earlier.

Twilight checked her watch.

"It's 4:34", she said. "Only a few more throws and we should get going".

She tossed it to Pinkie who caught it in her mouth. The girls rolled their eyes. Typical Pinkie.

"Hey, girls", a voice said.

They all turned around. They froze. They saw the men standing there. They had masks covering part of their faces. One guy had Rainbow in his grasp, a gun in the other hand.

"Now. We're going to be taking this one and you girls are going to pretend nothing happened??. If you try to run, we shoot you and her".

The man pointed the gun to Rainbow's head. Rainbow's eyes widened in terror. She looked at the girls, silently begging them not to do something stupid.

The man started to lead her away.

"Wait", Rainbow said.

The men stopped and looked at her. Rainbow gulped.

"If you're going to take me away forever, at least let me say goodbye".

The man with the gun sighed.

"Fine. Go".

He let her go. Rainbow ran over to Applejack who wrapped her arms around her tightly. Rainbow hugged her.

"It's gonna be okay", she said.

The girls hugged her. Applejack felt tears rise up.

"They're not gonna get away with this", she whispered so only Rainbow could here.

"I know", Rainbow replied. "You guys wouln't let them".

Applejack's hand was taken. She felt something small placed in her hand. Rainbow pulled away.

"I love you", she said.

"Ah love you too", Applejack replied. "I hate those men".

Applejack held her by her waist. She looked into her eyes.

"We'll find you", she whispered. "Ah promise we will and we'll find you. Don't matter how long it takes".

Tears sprung into Rainbow's eyes. She couldn't believe this was real.

"I know you will. Try not to miss me too much".

Rainbow lamely attempted at a smile. Applejack didn't smile back.

"You had a feeling something bad was going to happen", Twilight said. "We should have left earlier".

"No", Rainbow said. "They would have grabbed me on our way to the car. This was just meant to happen, I guess".

Rainbow looked at the girls.

"I'll be fine", she said, trying to reassure them.

"Do you know them??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow looked up at her.

"Yeah. I recognize their scent. It's my old master, Burn Fire, and some marketers. They're going to sell me back to him. I'm going back to being a servant".

Rainbow could see Applejack's jaw clentch up. She was angry. Rainbow took her hand.

"It's gonna be okay, AJ".

"No it's not", Applejack said quietly. "You're gonna get hurt when ya get ta where they're takin' ya".

Rainbow grinned. "You'll come looking for me, right??. So it'll only be a while. Maybe a few days or weeks or maybe months. But I know you'll find me. I'll be okay. I've gone through it for years. I can handle a while longer".

Rainbow leaned up and kissed her lips. She leaned in to her ear.

"Check the thing I gave you once we're gone".

Applejack nodded.

"And remember this", Rainbow whispered. "I'll never forget you. Thank you for everything, Applejack".

Rainbow suddenly felt a hand pull her back. Rainbow was pulled away from the girls roughly. Her hand slipped out of Applejack's. The girls watched in tears, as Rainbow was pulled away.

"For safe measures", one guy said.

One of the other men, took out a syringe. The girls gasped when he stabbed Rainbow with it in the side of her neck. He pushed it down, liquid leaving the needle going into Rainbow.

He was drugging her.

The man pulled it out and tossed it away. Rainbow immediately starting to stumble. The man with the gun, picked her up and tossed her over his shoulder without too much of an effort. The men looked at the girls.

"Don't try to stop or else you die", the man with Rainbow warned.

The girls nodded. They watched with heavy hearts as the men turned and hurried away. Rainbow looked up at them. She drowsily waved at them.

Rainbow's eyes closed. She went limp in the man's arms

The girls watched the men hurry to a car. They got in and drove off with Rainbow.

Applejack immediately opened her palm. She saw a folded up paper in her hand.

"What's that??".

"Rainbow handed it ta me", Applejack said.

She unfolded it.

"Twilight", she said. "Yir brother is a police officer, right??".

"Yeah", Twilight said, realizing what Applejack was getting at.

"I'll call him right away", she said, getting her phone out of her pocket.

She walked a few feet away, dialing.

Applejack read the writing on the paper.

To my friends and Applejack. I knew they'd come for me sooner or later so I wrote this for you. The men that took me are my master, Flame Fire, and some other slave masters. They want me back, I guess. I'm not sure why. But I do know that you guys are not going to find me right away. I don't know what they'll do with me. Maybe change how I look. Keep me locked up somewhere. Maybe take me out of Canterlot. I can only hope they won't kill me, although they probably will. Just stay strong. I don't know when we'll meet again but if you never see me again, try not to be too sad. I like you guys. You're my family. My friends. Thank you for adopting me Applejack. I can't say enough how much you've changed me. You changed my world and life for the better. I've had fun the time I've been here. Again, thank you. Don't forget about me too quickly. I won't forget you. I'll bet on the look out for anyone that could help me. I hope to see you again, soon. Especially you, Applejack. I love you. Forever yours.

"My brother said that he'll get a team together and get over here", Twilight said.

She shakily out her phone away. The girls were quiet. The previous events shook all of them to the core. Rarity took a deep breath and let it out. She looked over at Applejack who was staring at the paper in her hand.

"Applejack, dear".

The fashionista carefully approached her. She didn't touch her, afraid she'd go crazy on her.

"Applejack. We're going to find her again. I know we will. Now snap out of it and let's figure out what to do now".

Applejack looked up at her.

"Ah can't believe that just happened", said, not to anyone in particular.

She was in shock. Then again. Rainbow was literally forced out of her life and driven away and Applejack couldn't do anything but watch.

Applejack reread the paper. Her grip got stronger and stronger until the paper was crumbles and wrinkled.

I can only hope they won't kill me, although they probably will.

Applejack's jaw clentched.

"Over mah dead body".

She looked up at the girls. She gave a firm nod.

"Let's find er'".
