"Here ya go, babe."

Applejack sat down in her seat. She smiled and handed over an orange and white plastic bag to Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow smiled and took the bag.

"Thanks, AJ. You're the best."

Rainbow kissed Applejack's cheek. She opened the bag and looked inside. She grinned when she saw a giant chocolate chip muffin in a plastic container.

Rainbow licked her lips.

"Mmmmm. Looks sugary and bad for my health. I like it."

Applejack giggled.

"Pizza delivery." A southern accent was heard.

Strike, Rainbow, and Applejack looked up. Jackson stood there, holding a pizza box. He set the box on the table.

"Dog in." He said, taking his seat beside Strike.

They did. Jackson watched as Rainbow Dash and Strike threw open the white cardboard box lid. The steam of the pizza rose into the air. The uncle and niece grabbed a paper plate and one of the huge slices of cheese pizza and then took a large bite. Applejack reached out and picked up a slice with a raised eyebrow, watching her girlfriend devour her slice of pizza.

Applejack and Jackson just let them be and began to eat their own slice.

Rainbow plopped down onto the chair. Applejack sat down next to her girlfriend and wrapped an arm around her. Rainbow took out her phone and unlocked it.

"How long until our flight??." She asked.

"What time is it??."

"7:34."

Applejack hummed.

"Then that means we got about an hour and a half."

Rainbow nodded slowly. She suddenly felt eyes staring on her. She tried to ignore it.

Rainbow felt a pair of lips on her head. She smiled and looked up. She saw Applejack looking down at her.

"Yeah?? Can I help you??."

Applejack shrugged. "Yeah. Stop bein' so beautiful all the time."

Rainbow blushed at the compliment.

"I don't really try. I think I get it from my mom."

Applejack grinned. "Well she was a beautiful lady."

Rainbow nodded, smiling at the memory of her mother. "Yeah. She was."

Applejack noticed the joy in her eyes when she talked about her mom.

"Tell me about her??." She said.

Rainbow put her phone down.

"What do you wanna know??."

Applejack shrugged. "Tell me whatever you want ta say. Anything about her you remember. A memory you had with her. Anythin you want."

Rainbow began to tell Applejack of a time when her and mom had gone to a festival when Rainbow was four about years old. She talked on and on for who knows how long, talking about what her mom loved to do like skate and play music and dance around the house as she and Rainbow cleaned. They would sing and have a performance, while her dad cooked dinner, laughing.

She talked about all the things they did together, all the foods they ate, the interesting people they met.

"She won me a stuffed animal at the ring toss game." Rainbow recalled. "I still have it. His name is Mr.Banana because he's a monkey."

Rainbow giggled. "I remember this guy tried to hit on my mom and-."

Rainbow's eyes widened as she paused.

"Oh my god." She said sitting up.

Applejack raised an eyebrow. Rainbow looked at her.

"That guy was hitting on my mom."

Applejack laughed. She looked at Rainbow who had was in shock at this revelation.

"You okay there??."

Rainbow nodded and laid back, her head on Applejack's lap. Applejack ran her fingers through Rainbow's long hair.

"You're funny." She said, amused.

"Uh oh."

The girls looked up. They saw Jackson loookikf at their plane tickets.

"Is something wrong??." Rainbow asked.

"They have our seats all in different places??."

The girls sat up.

"What?!!."

Applejack and Rainbow looked at each other.

"Did they pick our seats?." Rainbow asked.

"Yeah." Jackson replied. "Ah guess they did."

"So, I'm gonna be sitting by myself??." Rainbow asked, feeling her anxiety rising but trying to hide it.

Applejack knew Rainbow Dash. She took her hand.

"Not if ah have a say in it." Applejack said. "That's crazy that they separated all of us."

"I'll go see what I can do." Jackson said, standing up.

"I'll be right back."

"I'll come with." Strike said, standing up.

The men looked at the teens.

"Stay here and watch the luggage." Strike said.

Applejack and Rainbow nodded. Rainbow looked at her phone. Applejack and her dad made eye contact. Jackson pointed at his eyes and then then at Rainbow a Dash.

Applejack nodded in understanding. Jackson and Strike walked away. Applejack watched them for a moment as they walked up to a desk where the plane gate was. When she was aware of where the men would be, she turned her attention to her phone.

She and Rainbow sat there for a while, watching YouTube videos and going online and talking. Eventually, Rainbow got out a book she had brought with her and Applejack let let sit on her lap to read.

Rainbow gasped a few minutes later, her eyes widening.

"What's wrong?." Applejack asked, knowing already Rainbow was gasping about something in the Daring Do book in her hands.

"Ahuizohtl is planning on disguising himself as Daring Do's boss to get close to her and his new accomplice is pretending to be nice to Daring and be her friend in order to trick her into revealing where the artifact of Hiunuum. It's diabolically evil!!."

Applejack smiled and patted Rainbow's leg.

"I'm sure she'l be okay in the end. Since when does Daring Do lose??."

"Never!!." Rainbow exclaimed.

"Shhhh." Applejack giggled. "Quieter, babe."

"Never." Rainbow said again, but quieter.

Applejack and Rainbow looked up, seeing people walking towards them. They saw Strike and Jackson walking towards them, smiling. The two men walked over to them and sat down.

"Mission accomplished." Jackson said.

Jackson noticed a certain look in her dad's eyes. It made suspicious.

"What did you do??." She asked.

Applejack and Rainbow were handed their own tickets. The girls looked at the paper and read them.

They gasped and looked at the men.

"First class??!." Rainbow exclaimed. "How??."

She looked at her uncle.

"What did you say to the people at the desk??."

Strike giddily turned his body towards Rainbow.

"I just told them that our seats were separate and my niece is special needs and she needs us to be with her. Can you put our seats together??."

"And they did." Jackson said. "They had empty seats in first class."

Applejack looked at Rainbow. Rainbow had her jaw hanging open.

"Since when am I special needs??." She asked. "You told them that??."

Strike grinned. "You are. Depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and PTSD are mental illnesses and in my book, that counts as special needs."

Rainbow shook her head, grinning.

"You're awesome."

"You two are somethin' else." Jackson sighed, smiling himself.

Rainbow suddenly yawned, covering her mouth with a hand.

"You tired, babe??." Applejack asked.

Rainbow shrugged. "A little."

Applejack looked down at her phone to check the time.

8:45.

"It's about time ta board the plane." She said.

They suddenly heard the overhead speakers turn on.

"Attention all passengers boarding flight 1017 to Antamara. Group 1 may start to board."

"That's us." Jackson said. "Let's go, girls."

Applejack and Rainbow Dash got up.

"About time." Rainbow said, putting her book back inside her book bag, and then pulled her hoodie on.

Well, technically it was Applejack's, but Applejack wasn't gonna get it back anytime soon.

They grabbed their suitcases and bags.

"Alright." Jackson said. "Let's goal

"You ready??." Applejack asked Rainbow.

Rainbow nodded with tons of enthusiasm.

"Yeah!."

She took Applejack by the hand and quickly dragged her towards the line. Applejack chuckled, looking over her shoulder at her dad and Strike, who were following them close behind. She smiled at them. Jackson and Strike smiled, shaking their heads.

Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash with such love and adoration in her eyes and smiled.

Oh, Rainbow. Please never change.
