This may or may not be an appledash story or maybe just the mane six in general. I'll try to make it end with Appledash :) don't forget to vote and comment.

Applejack never noticed her until that moment. The girl with a dark blue hoodie, sitting up against the willow tree on the school lot, writing in a notebook.

"Applejack??".

"Huh??".

Applejack turned her head. Her friends, Twilight, Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy looked at her.

"Oh sorry. What was that??".

Rarity sighed. "I said are you okay because you're staring at someone".

Applejack looked back at the girl.

"Who's that??".

The girls saw where she was looking.

"Oh that's girl", Pinkie said.

"I don't know her. Actually I don't think I've ever noticed her before".

The girls felt bad. They were basically the spirits of friendship and they hadn't noticed this girl all school year.

"Well let's go talk to her", Twilight said standing up.

They all stood up and walked towards the tree. As they got closer they began to see the girl more closely. As they near Applejack noticed she was cute.

Glasses, light blue skin, she could see Rainbow colored hair in the hoodie.

They stood in front of the girl. The teenage girl was reading. Completely unaware of their presense.

Applejack decided to speak up. She opened her mouth to speak but Pinkie beat her to it.

"Hi!!".

The girl jumped up in surprise. Pinkie bounced over to her. The girl had her backpack on. In a flash she was on the other side of the tree.

"Pinkie Pie!!", Rarity scolded.

"Oops", Pinkie whispered with a slight shrug.

"What d-do you want??", they heard a voice. It came from the the other side of the tree. The girl was looking at them in fear.

Applejack slowly walked over to her. She stopped close enough.

"We're sorry we startled ya. Ah'm Applejack and-".

"I know who you are", the girl said quietly.

"You do??.

Applejack turned around to see the other girls standing there.

Looking back at the girl she saw her nod.

"Yeah. You're the most popular girls in town. Everyone talks about you..... I think".

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"What do ya mean you think??".

The girl fiddled with her hoodie sleeve.

"Well, I-I don't pay much attention to whatever everyone's t-talking about. I- I'm not a people person".

Applejack instantly fell in love with her stutter. It was really cute.

"We've never seen you here before and we felt bad so we decided to get to meet you".

The girl raised an eyebrow.

Twilight's eyes widened.

"Not that we feel pity or feel bad for you cause we don't even know you. We don't know if you're dealing with stuff or not. We just felt bad that we didn't know you. We're the spirits of friendship and not knowing someone in school wouldn't feel right with us cause we know everyone in school.... or at least thought we knew everyone".

The girl stayed silent.

"So", Rarity spoke up.

"You know our names but I think we should at least know your name".

Suddenly they heard the bell ring. Lunch was over.

The girl laughed nervously.

"Whoops that's the bell. Gotta go".

With that she ran towards the school in a flash.

The girls watched her leave.

"That girl is fast", Rarity stated.

Applejack stood there.

"She's cute".

The girls looked at her.

"Way to be blunt about it", Twilight laughed.

"Come on. Let's get to class".

The 5 walked into the room but suddenly stopped. There in the far corner of the room was the girl.

The girls took their seat. To her surprise the girl was sitting right behind Applejack. Applejack felt bad. This girl had been sitting behind her the whole year and she didn't even know it.

AJ looked the other girls. The class chatted away until class started.

Turns out they had a substitute so they were able to do whatever they wanted.

"She sits right behind me and ah didn't even know".

"The poor girl was probably too shy to say anything to anyone", Rarity added.

The girls looked back at the mysterious  girl, who was reading a book.

Suddenly the girl was hit by a paper ball.

"Hey emo freak", a boy from the football team called Riff said.

"Gunna say something??".

Riff stood up and walked over to the girl. The girls watched, feeling sorry for her. Riff leaned down on her desk.

"Hey, girl. Why won't you talk to me??".

The girl didn't look up. She just continued  to  read.

"Emo freak. You gunna turn me to stone like Medusa??".

Applejack's hands ball into fists.

"Not gunna say anything to me??. Not gunna move??. Then I guess you won't mind if I do this", he reached his hand out. The girl quickly grabbed him by the wrist.

"Leave me alone".

She pushed his hand away. Riff smirked.

"Gotcha".

Applejack felt her blood boil. That guy had tried to touch the girl in a very wrong way.

Suddenly the girl's chair was tilted and the girl fell to the floor.

"Hey".

Applejack stood up.

"How dare you".

The girls got up. They hurried over to the girl on the floor. The teenage girl was sprawled out on the tiled floor, her hand on her side, a pained expression on her face.

"Are you okay??", Applejack asked.

The girl nodded. AJ and Pinkie helped her up. Applejack noticed she was holding her side with her hand. She decided to ask her after school.

"Oh she's fine", they heard the substitute teacher say.

Turning around Applejack looked at the man.

"Do you know how bad she could have gotten hurt??. You shouldn't even have let that happen. Ya shoulda told em to shut up and sit down, but no, ya just sat there an didn't say anythin when you coulda stopped it".

Applejack looked at the girl. She looked up at Riff. She took the chair from him and swung it at him.

Riff fell to the floor, clutching his stomach.
Everyone stared at Applejack. She put the chair back. The girl looked at her with wide eyes.

Suddenly the bell rung. The students slowly packed up. Rainbow gathered her things and ran out.

"You're awesome".

Applejack  looked at her friends. She shrugged.

"Eh he deserved it".
