Rainbow smiled. She held Applejack's hand as they walked. The couple waved to a few people. Applejack and Rainbow Dash were the cutest couple in the school. Rainbow couldn't be happier. She loved Applejack with all her heart. The two were almost inseparable. Rainbow loved Applejack and Applejack loved her.

Rainbow had finished a soccer practice. She walked into the school and found her locker. She saw an envelope in it. Taking it she opened her locker and grabbed her stuff.

She walked out of the school and down the street. She decided to open the letter.

Rainbow ripped to open and took out a note.

You don't deserve Applejack bitch. I'd hate to have to remove you. PERMANENTLY. Don't tell anyone about this note or else you won't live to see the next soccer game.

Rainbow stopped walking. Remove her??. Permanently??. Rainbow felt her pulse quicken. This was a death threat. She put it away and kept walking. Who would want to kill her??. She hadn't done anything wrong to anyone. Ever. So why??

Rainbow ran a hand through her hair.

"There is no way I'm going to listen to this stupid prank", she said. Yeah. It was just a prank. She decided not to listen to the note and forgot about it. She didn't tell anyone either. Then she got another note.

Applejack was looking for Rainbow Dash through the school. School was over and they could leave.

The blonde came around the corner to find Rainbow in front of her locker, reading a paper. She walked over to her and scared her. Rainbow screamed in fright and turned around. She look like she was gunna have a heart attack.

"Don't do that. You scared me", she scolded.

Applejack looked at the paper in her hands.

"What's that??", she asked

Rainbow folded it up.

"Nothing. C'mon. I'm tired", she said, putting it away.

Applejack frowned but decided to leave it at that. She took Rainbow's hand. The two walked out of the school and went home.

The day Rainbow got the scare of her life. She and Applejack were at home, it being a Saturday.

"Can you go get the mail??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow nodded. She hopped off the counter and walked into the hall and towards the front door. Stepping outside Rainbow looked around it was a good day. Blue skies, cool breeze to match the warmth of spring.

She opened the mail box and took out the letters. She flipped through them. Junk, junk, a letter from Applejack's cousin, a letter with her name on it??.
Rainbow looked at the letter, frozen. She knew that handwriting. It was another note. She hurried back inside. She went into the kitchen, hiding the envelope behind her back. She handed Applejack the other mail.

"I'll be just a minute", she said.

She walked out of the room and went upstairs to their bedroom. Closing the door she sat on the bed.

Rainbow stared at her name. She bit her lip.

"Let's get this over with", she said tearing the envelope open. She took out another note.

I warned you bit you didn't listen. You won't make it through the night. But I'll give you a choice. You either kill yourself tonight or I will kill you myself at school. Applejack and I will be together. Your choice.

Rainbow felt her heart race. She got up. She felt her heart racing. She had gotten alot of notes over the past month but not a note like this one. Looking it over again she knew what she had to do. She had to tell Applejack.

The girls felt tears in her eyes. She ran out of the room calling Applejack's name. She ran into the living room. She saw Applejack on the couch.

"Applejack", she sobbed.

Applejack looked at her. She saw Rainbow and got up. Rainbow ran up to her and hugged her.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I thought she wouldn't do anything. I don't wanna die. I'm so scared".

Applejack frowned. "What are you talkin' about baby??".

Rainbow took her hand. She led her to the room. Rainbow's backpack was on the floor. The teen kneeled down and unzipped it. She took out a stack of papers.

"Read them", she said handing Applejack one.

Applejack say down on the bed and read them. Her face changed as she read. From confusion to angr, to laughing, back to anger and then worry. She looked back up at Rainbow. The girl had tears running down her face. She was leaning against the wall, looking out of the window.

"How long has this been goin on", Applejack asked.

"A month", Rainbow replied.

Applejack got up. "Rainbow. A month??. Why didn't you tell me??".

Rainbow looked at her. "I was afraid okay??. I was scared of what she would do if I told".

Applejack raised an eyebrow. "She??".

Rainbow clamped a hand over her mouth. Applejack walked up to her.

"Babe. These are death threats. This person wants ta kill you. Ah'm not gunna let this continue. This is also bullyin'. We need ta tell someone".

Rainbow sighed. "I know. That's why I told you because I was too scared to tell anyone but you".

Applejack took her hand. Rainbow sniffled.

"She's gunna kill me".

Applejack shook her head. "No. She won't. Who is she??".

Rainbow bit her lip.

"Sunlight Shine".

Applejack's eyes widened. That was her ex girlfriend. She went to their school.

"Ah guess she never got over be breaking up with her", Applejack said quietly.

Applejack pulled her in for a hug. She held her firmly.

"It's gunna be alright. Tomorrow we'll talk to principle Celestia and have her arrested.

Rainbow looked at her.

"She said I had until tomorrow at school to kill myself or else she will".

Applejack frowned.

"You're not doing anything to yourself. Ah'll make sure of it".

Rainbow bit her lip and looked down.
"I...... was actually.......considering it. I was thinking about doing what she wanted me to".

Applejack stared her. She shook her head.

"Ah won't let you. She's angry and jealous. But that shouldn't cause you ta kill yourself. You're staying with me".

Rainbow nodded. "Okay".

That night Rainbow was terrified to sleep. She feared that Sunlight would kill her in her sleep. Applejack held her and shushed her. She rocked the girl gently until she fell asleep. Applejack stayed up all night.

She did fear for her girlfriend's life. But she would damned if anyone thought that they could hurt her Rainbow.

The next day the girls went to Principal Celestia.

"What is it girl??", she asked sitting down.

"Someone has been sending death threats to Rainbow", Applejack said a serious look on her face.

Rainbow took out the notes and gave them to her. Principal Celestia read them all. She then looked up at the girls.

"Sunlight Shine did this??".

Rainbow nodded. "Yeah. She even came up to me once and said she was gunna kill me". Principal Celestia stood up.

"You should stay here. I'll handle this".

She took out her phone. She called someone.

"Luna. Listen, I need you to call down a student. Have officers ready arrest her. There's a student that has been sending death threats to another student. Yeah. It's very serious. The name is Sunlight Shine. But first call down a few patrol officers to be there. She may be armed and then call her down once you've explained the situation to them. I'll call the police. Yes. Be careful. You too bye".

She hung up.

"I have an idea. I need Rainbow Dash to lead her there".

Rainbow's eyes widend. "What??!!".

Applejack looked at the principal.

"Ah don't think that's such a good idea", she said.

Principal Celestia sighed. "It's the only wait to make sure she gets into the room. Hopefully she's not armed".

Rainbow nodded. "She is. She told me in the note that if I didn't kill myself last night that she would kill me here today".

Principal Celestia placed a hand on her shoukder. "You did the right thing. I can promise you we'll catch her and she will be arrested. You're gunna be just fine".

Rainbow nodded. She laid her head on Applejack's chest. Applejack wrapped her arms around her waist protectively.

"Okay. I'll do it", Rainbow said.

Rainbow walked through the hall. She sighed nervously. This was a bad idea.
"Well. Hi".
Applejack whipped around. There stood Sunlight Shine. She had golden curly hair with orange highlights. Her big blue eyes matched her skin. Rainbow froze. Sunlight twirled a switchblade in her hand. The girl walked towards her.

"I thought I told you to leave Applejack alone and die. You two can't be together. It's not right. You don't deserve her".

Rainbow backed up. She was terrified.

"Well y-you can't do anything about it a-and if you kill me then Applejack will find out it was you a-and then she'll hate you".

Sunlight smirked. "Well. She won't find out. I'll make it look like an suicide. Now stop moving".

Rainbow kept backing up. Sunlight Shine was insane. The girl gripped the blade. She ran at Rainbow Dash. Rainbow ran. She knew the plan and ran towards the office which just so happened to be on the other side of the school.

"GET BACK HERE!!".

Rainbow weaved through halls, running as fast as she could. She almost tripped a few times. She prayed silently that she wouldn't trip. She paid attention to her footing as she ran down the stairs to another part of the school, Sunlight close behind her.

Rainbow ran down the hall, the office in sight. But there was a dead end. She skidded to a stop and turned around. Sunlight smirked.

"Nowhere to run now. Me and Applejack will be together again".

She walked towards Rainbow. Rainbow backed up against the office door. Her hand searched for the door handle.

"Not a good idea babe", Sunlight said shaking her head.

Rainbow found the handle and open the door. She was tackled and both fell into the room. Sunlight fell in top of Rainbow Dash. Rainbow held her wrist, keeping the knife away. Sunlight was surprisingly stronger and over powered her. Rainbow struggled to keep the knife away from her. She felt the knife tip at her throat.

Suddenly Sunlight was taken off of her. Rainbow looked up to see police officers holding her. She backed away until her back was against the wall.

"You stupid bitch!!. You told!!".

Applejack ran over to Rainbow and kneeled. She held her girlfriend in her arms. The two stood up. Applejack glared at Sunlight Shine.

"Ah wouldn't want ta date someone who send death threats to mah girlfriend. Goodbye".

Sunlight was led away. Applejack turned to look at Rainbow. The girl looked shaken up. The blonde touched her cheek.

"You okay??", she asked quietly.

Rainbow looked at her and nodded.

"Yeah. She chased me through the entire school".

Applejack smiled. "I'm just glad you're alright".

Rainbow hugged her.

"For a second I thought I was gunna die", Rainbow said.

Applejack frowned.

"That knife was way too close to my throat for my liking".

Applejack rubbed her back.

"Well you're alright. Ah'm glad she's gone forever. She can't hurt cha".

Rainbow nodded. "Okay".

Applejack pulled away and smiled at her. "Ah love you. If anything like that happens again, tell me right away. If you tell me you won't have anythin' ta be afraid of, alright??".

Rainbow nodded. "I will".

"You wanna go home??".

Rainbow nodded. They asked permission to leave.

"Of coarse. You should get some rest and come back tomorrow", Vice Principal Luna said.

The two girls went to their lockers and got their stuff. They left the school and went to Applejack's car.

"You know", Rainbow said looking out of the window.

"I haven't been able to sleep for a week".

Applejack looked at her.

"Why??".

Rainbow yawned. "I was afraid to sleep. So I just stayed up at night and watched videos online until I fell asleep. Though I only had about an hour or half an hour of sleep everyday this week".

They arrived at the house. Parking Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash who was slowly nodding off to sleep. She got out and walked over to Rainbow's side. She opened the door and unbuckled her seat belt. She took Rainbow in her arms and walked into the house. She put their bags on the floor and headed upstairs.

Applejack walked into their bedroom and walked over to the bed. She laid Rainbow down and took off her shoes. Rainbow shifted. Her eyes opened.

"Huh??".

Applejack shushed her.

"Get to bed and go to sleep. I'm right here".

Rainbow went under the blanket and laid down. Applejack turned the light off and took her boots off. She changed her pants into sweats and climbed into bed.

Rainbow immediately snuggled up to the blonde teen. Applejack laid down and held her arm around Rainbow's waist. Rainbow fell asleep for the first time that week, knowing that that she would be completely safe with Applejack.
