Rainbow knew that dating a celebrity was going to be hard. Applejack was a famous country singer. They haf been daring for three years and just recently came out a few months ago. She knew that there would be fans that wouldn't like her. But she didn't think that it would be this hard.

Applejack walked in through the front door. She had just finished an interview and was completely exhausted. She walked into the large living room of her and Rainbow's house. She could only register Rainbow sitting on the couch on her phone. Since she was half asleep she could only give her a kiss on the cheek and say, "Goodnight". She walked away to go to sleep.

She didn't notice the way Rainbow was silent. She didn't notice the tears that ran down the girl's face. She didn't hear her sniffle.

Rainbow scrolled through her phone looking at all the tweets. She read them, each one meaner than the last.

'You have slut written all over you'

'Why do you even come on stage?? You get get enough attention. Attention hogger or what??'

'Applejack doesnt even love you. She's with you because she feels sorry for you'.

'You're fat. You need to cut down on the carbs sweetie'

'Does anyone else know that she's a gold-digging slut or is it just me??'

'Rainbow needs to leave Applejack alone. Applejack doesn't need an ugly whore like her. She deserves better. Leave'.

Rainbow had tears running down her face. She had no idea people could be so cruel to a stranger. What had she done to them to make them wanna say this??. This had been going on for a while. But she didn't say anything to Applejack. Applejack had been pretty busy lately with interviews and performances. The blonde barely had any time for her. But Rainbow completely understood and didn't complain. She knew Applejack would be tired at the end of the day.

She wouldn't be surprised when Applejack would come home and not even say I love you or how was your day??. Rainbow was hurt by it but she knew it wasn't Applejack's fault. She was just busy.

She sniffled. She decided to stop. She got up and walked upstairs. She walked into the bedroom. Applejack was fast asleep on the bed. Rainbow sighed and climbed into bed. Laying down she looked at Applejack.

"Goodnight", she whispered.

Applejack rushed through her breakfast. She ate her cereal and flipped on the tv, her phone at her ear.

"Yes. Ah'm sure. Of coarse I'll be there".

She flipped through the channels. Something caught her eye and she frowned and turned back to the celebrity gossip channel. She saw a picture of Rainbow Dash.

"I'll have ta call ya back", she said before hanging up.

Putting the phone down she turned the volume up.

"Now let's talk about Rainbow", the host of the show said.

"She's the girlfriend of one the most famous country singers in the world. I'm not surprised that her twitter is blowing up with hate".

"Yeah", one of the guys said. "It doesn't surprise me at all. But have you read the tweets??. They're horrible. Let's read some of them".

They showed the tweets on the screen and read them. Applejack couldn't believe it. The horrible words that were being said to Rainbow. Slut. Gold-digger. Whore. Fake. Ugly. Fat.

"I wonder how's she taking it", one of the hosts said.

One girl made a face.

"Well. That's for the next topic. We've gotten pics taken from the paparazzi. Take a look at this pic".

A pic was shown on the tv.

"If you look close, you can see to what seems to be cuts on her wrist".

Applejack gasped. They were right. She brought a hand to her mouth.

"An inside source tells us that Rainbow hadn't worn those bracelets until recently. It seems out of the blue".

"Yeah. She wears a bracelet that covers her wrist all the time. No matter what she's wearing, she has those bracelets or a long sleeves shirt or a jacket on. I believe she is hiding her cuts".

The hosts shook their heads.

"Wow. Just wow. It's no wonder she does it. Look at this tweet".

'Kill yourself. Noone would care and Applejack would have one less thing to worry about'.

Applejack gasped. She turned the tv off and stood there. She tried to remember the last time she had held Rainbow in her arms or told her she loved her the past few months. She couldn't. Applejack felt her heart break.

She had been so busy with everything going in in her career that she had completely ignored Rainbow and that resulted in this happening.

"Well one thing is fir sure", she said. Walked towards the stairs. "Ah need ta find out if it's true".

She hurried up the stairs and down the hall to her and Rainbow's bedroom. Opening the door she walked in. She saw Rainbow sitting on her bed, her phone in hand.

"Rainbow".

Rainbow looked up at her in surprise.

"Wow. Uh hi. Didn't expect you to do that".

"Expect me ta talk to ya??".

Rainbow nodded. Applejack took her by the hand and pulled her up.

"Rainbow. Have you seen the news??".

Rainbow shook her head.

"They say that there are pictures with cuts on your wrists. Can you explain that ta me??".

Rainbow's eyes widened.

"Uhhh I um.....".

She sighed. "I can't".

Applejack took one wrist and held it firmly. She took off the bracelets. Rainbow tried to pull away but Applejack held her arm firmly. Rainbow sighed and looked away.

Applejack gasped. There were pink raised cuts on her wrists, lining up on her blue skin. Applejack looked up at her.

"Rainbow".

Rainbow closed her eyes and turned away.

"Ah'm so sorry".

Rainbow looked at her confused.

"Ah'm sorry. Ah haven't been there fir ya. Ah've ignored you and ah can't even remember the last time we actually had a conversation the last few months. This".

She pointed at Rainbow's wrist.

"Is partially mah fault. It's mostly the fans fault and ah will handle it".

Applejack hugged her tightly. Rainbow hugged back.

"I don't understand. What did I do wrong??".

Applejack shook her hesd. She pulled away.

"You didn't do anythin wrong babe. They're just jealous and angry fir no reason".

Rainbow looked up at her.

"Have you seen this??", she asked holding her phone out. Applejack took and looked at the screen.

'Applejack abusing girlfriend. Caught on camera'.

"What??".

Rainbow shrugged.

"This is all over the internet. It was up yesterday morning".

Applejack looked at her. Suddenly Applejack's phone rang. She took it out of her pocket and looked at it. It was her manager. She answered.

"Have you seen the gossip network??", she asked.

"Yes. It's crazy. They have pictures of you and Rainbow in your room. I'll show you girls everything once when you finish your interview that you have today. I know this isn't true".

Applejack sighed. "When's the next interview comin up??".

"In an hour. Me and security are on out way to get you and get over here".

"Can she come with??. Yeah know. Ta show that she's not bruised up as they think she is and so we can clear this whole thing up".

"Alright. See ya".

Applejack hung up. She looked at Rainbow.

"We're going ta have an interview in an hour. So get ready".

Rainbow nodded. She went to get dressed. Applejack did too. They looked nice. Rainbow wore her regular skirt with shorts underneath. A t- shirt and a jacket. She put her bracelets back on. Applejack wore jeans and a dress shirt with her boots. They were picked up and driven down to the studio.

The van was surrounded by fans. Applejack took Rainbow's hand. The security guards had them leave the van.

"Just hold on ta me", Applejack said.

Rainbow nodded. They stepped out. The crowd was deafening. The security kept them back as much as they could. Rainbow held onto the blonde as they walked. Everywhere she heard shouting and a few insults. Suddenly she felt someone grab her and pull her back. Her scream was drowned out and as fell to the ground.

Rainbow was grabbed at by multiple hands. She immediately curled up and covered her face. She was terrified. Suddenly she heard a voice over everyone else and everyone got quiet.

"STOP!!. EVERYONE SHUT UP!!".

The crowd got quiet. It was Applejack's voice.

"NOW. AH WANT TA KNOW WHERE RAINBOW IS RIG BY NOW!!".

Rainbow felt someone lifting her up. She turned and saw two girls. One had pink curly hair and had a huge smile on her face and the other had purple hair and smiled kindly at Rainbow.

"Come darling", she said. "Let's get you back to Applejack".

The three went through the crowd until they made it to Applejack.

"Applejack", Rainbow called.

AJ turned and saw her. She hugged her.

"Are you alright??", she asked.

Rainbow nodded.

"Cmon".

Rainbow turned to the girls that helped her.

"Thank you".

Applejack turned and saw the girls.

"Who are they??", she asked Rainbow.

"They got me back to you when I fell".

Applejack smiled at the girls. "Thanks. What are your names??".

"I'm Pinkie Pie", the girl with wild curly hair said.

"I'm Rarity", the other teen said.

Applejack smiled. "Well thanks fir your help".

"You're welcome", Rarity said. Rainbow and Applejack said bye and continued on to the building. They made it in and walked in. Applejack looked at Rainbow.

"Are you alright??".

Rainbow had a few scrapes on her face and arm. Applejack frowned.

"C'mon".

The girls found Applejack's manager. He showed them the gossip website.

"A paparazzi got a video of you girls now people are saying that she was hurting you".

Applejack sighd.

"We'll have it cleared up in the interview. Ah wouldn't do that to her".

Applejack took her hand. Rainbow looked away and sighed.

"Why does everyone hate me??".

Applejack frowned and looked at her.

"Ah don't hate chu. He doesn't hate you. Alot of fans don't hate you. They love you".

Rainbow looked at her. Applejack smiled.

"Just chin up. Fir me".

Rainbow nodded.

"I'll try".

They went to their spot and met the interviewer. It was a woman. She had a snarky, rude attitude. The woman didn't even look at Rainbow. She walked back to the set.

The show started.

"Welcome everyone. Now today we have a speacial guest. C'mon out".

Applejack and Rainbow walked out smiling. They shook the lady's hand and sat down. Applejack felt the uneasiness from Rainbow and took her hand. Rainbow smiled at her.

"You girls look so cute together. So let's begin".

The interview went on. Rainbow stayed quiet while Applejack talked.

"Now. Let's talk about the rumors", the woman said.

"Applejack sexually abusing her girlfriend. Isn't that juicy. Tell us. What happened??".

Applejack frowned and looked serious.

"It's not true. That video is not what it seems. She doesn't have a bruise or mark on her".

Rainbow looked at the woman.

"Well. No, she seemed just great. Now tell us Rainbow. What's the twitter deal??".

Applejack looked at Rainbow. Rainbow bit her lip.

"I don't know. A few months ago I got one tweet saying a something noone should call someone else and now I'm blasted with insults left and right. It's terrible. I don't get why. I haven't said anything mean or rude to anyone so I get why they have to be so mean".

The interviewer then said, "Well that's life. I mean if you can't handle the press and the fans of your girlfriend then, maybe you should just leave".

Rainbow stared at her, a stone cold look on her face. Applejack got up.

"You know what??".

Rainbow quickly got up and stopped her.

"No. Don't. She's right".

Applejack shook her head.

"No. She's not".

Applejack turned to the woman.

"Listen. Those people on there are cruel. Rainbow hasn't done anything to anyone but be greatful. They had no reason ta say what they said about her. And you have no right ta tell her that she should just leave. She ain't goin anywhere".

"So she is self harming??", she asked.

Rainbow crossed her arms and looked away.

"Yeah. What's it to you??", she said glaring at the woman.

"Don't be a bitch. Just cause you like to slit your wrist cause of a few bullies doesn't mean you say shit", the interviewer said.

Applejack looked at her shocked.

"Ah know you did not just say that to her. If anything you're bein' a bitch. You don't know shit. Are you getting called fat an ugly??. Is someone telling you to go kill yourself??. No. So stop tellin her off unless it's happen to you. Ya'll make me sick. You're what??. In your thirties??. And she's 16. You should know better than ta say that ta her. Now. Ah don't care what she said. You don't talk ta her like that. Never in your life can you talk ta mah girl like that and that. It makes you look real stupid ta say that. What if she does kill herself??. What if she the last thing on her mind is what you told her before takes a gun ta the head or hang herself??. Do ya wanna kill someone??. Apparently everyone wants her ta die but me".

Applejack scoffed. "And that rumor. Really??. Rape??. Abuse??. Ya'll think ah would abuse mah girl??".

Applejack looked at the audience in the stands.

"Listen and listen well. Ah would NEVER hurt her. NEVER has it crossed mah mind ta hit, kick, slap. But abuse her??. Ya'll sick ta accuse me of that".

Rainbow had tears in her eyes. She crossed her arms.

Applejack was livid but spoke quietly.
Applejack looked around the room angrily.

"Ah am sick of all this crap and bullshit Rainbow has ta go through cause ya'll are so stupid. Seriously??. My "fans" are telling her she's fat when she's just perfect and fit. She has abs for Celestia sake. Now you all know. Rainbow had abs. So there, don't call her fat anymore. And she definitely not ugly".

Applejack laughed. "Trust me. She isn't ugly. She's beautiful inside and out. You think ah would date ah girl that ah thought wasn't beautiful. If ah say she is then she is. End of story".

Applejack then got serious.

"Now. About the self harmin'. I hate you all for that. Because of you, mah baby hurt herself for months on end and ah didn't even know. Ah had no idea of what you guys were doin to her. It broke my heart when ah saw those cuts. You people broke her. It was partially mah fault. Ah didn't pay attention to her and ah didn't even say ah love you ta her. That's sad. This was happenin right in front of me and ah was too busy for her. Ah hate mahself fir that. Because of me this continued fir far too long. She didn't have anyone to talk to. She was trapped and she had no other choice but to cut herself to relieve the stress from her hell of a life. And then she gets a death threat".

Applejack looked around, eyes wide.

"What??. Someone thinks it's okay ta say that they're going to kill Rainbow. No. That isn't okay. Ah will find whoever said posted that tweet and their ass is mine".

Applejack took a breath.

"You can't just come to mah concert happy to see me and jump sround and sing along and scream I love you Applejack".

She turned and pointed at Rainbow Dash. "And then go home and threaten mah girlfriend's life unless she left me. It just doesn't add up"

Applejack looked at Rainbow. The teen had tears running down her face. Applejack walked over to her and hugged her. Rainbow cried into her shoulder.

"Thank you", she whispered.

Applejack hugged her. After a minute she pulled away and looked at Rainbow.

"Let's get outta here".

Rainbow nodded. Applejack looked at the interviewer.

"Ah dare you ta say somethin to her again and ah swear ah will send ya to the hospital".

Applejack looked at a camera.

"If you hate Rainbow, ah hate you and ah hope you don't show your face ta mah concerts again until you can learn ta respect Rainbow. She deserves better. You're crazy if ya think she doesn't".

With that Applejack and Rainbow walked off the set and past the paparazzi and reporters that was nearby.

They had Applejack's manager get them back to the car. The fans waiting outside were very quiet. They let them pass by. Applejack held Rainbow close. The rainbow haired teen was still in tears. They got into the van and went home.

"That was very inspiring what you said", Applejack's manager said seriously.

"You should be proud of yourself. Both of you. I'm proud of you".

Applejack smiled. Rainbow smiled too. They finally made it home.

"Take as long a break you need till everything clears up".

Applejack nodded. The two got out of the van and walked inside. Once inside Applejack brought Rainbow in for a hug. Rainbow hugged her tightly.

"Thank you".

Applejack smiled and kissed her head.

"She had no right talking to ya like that".

Pulling away Applejack wiped her tears away.

"You tired??".

Rainbow nodded. Applejack picked her up and carried her upstairs. The girls changed and got into bed. Rainbow was given given a Tylenol. The girls laid down. Applejack wrapped her arms around her. Rainbow laid her head on Applejack's chest.

"I love you".

Applejack smiled. "Ah love you too".

Rainbow felt asleep. Applejack looked down at her. Suddenly her phone buzzed. Applejack picked it up and looked at it. Rainbow's twitter was blowing up with compliments and apologies. Applejack smiled at the tweets.

'You're beautiful. Chin up'

'I think you and Applejack are adorable :)'

'Applejack really loves you. So lucky'.

'Applejack was right. You didn't deserve any hate. We support you!!'.

Applejack put the phone away and smiled at Rainbow. She kissed her forehead gently.

"Ah told ya I'd make it stop. Things are gunna be better. Ah promise".
