Applejack was pretty stubborn. Rainbow was stubborn too. Rainbow was stubborn because once she put her mind to something it was hard to get her to stop. But Applejack.

When she gets stubborn she will not say sorry for anything. Between the two she was always the last one to apologize, even when she was the one that was wrong.

"Can you stop bein so clingy fir ah minute??!!".

Rainbow looked at her appalled. She shot up.

"Well you didn't seem to mind until right now!!".

Applejack stood and crossed her arms.

"WELL. MAH BAD FIR PUTTING UP WITH YOUR CHILDISHNESS!!", Applejack yelled.

"WELL", Rainbow exclaimed. "MY BAD FOR BEING MYSELF!!".

Applejack rolled her eyes. "Well bein' yourself don't mean ya gotta be all cuddly and clingy all the time".

Applejack was so annoyed and mad that she yelled, "DIDN'T YOU GET ENOUGH ATTENTION FROM YOUR FAMILY WHEN YOU WERE AH KID??!!".

Applejack stopped. Uh oh.

"How dare you", Rainbow growled. "How dare you bring that up".

Rainbow stopped up to her and kicked her shin.

"Ow!", Applejack yelped.

Rainbow glared at her.

"I never had a family, you big stupid jerk. Remember??. When you're ready to say sorry I'll be around".

Rainbow calmly walked away.

Sorry??. Why should she be the one to say sorry??. Applejack sighed and sat down on the couch. She covered her face. She was so angry. She decided to just sit there for a while to calm down. Which turned to 30 minutes. The blonde finally took out her phone.

She called Twilight.

"Hello??".

Applejack sighed. "Hey Twi. Ah need some help. Me and Rainbow got into an argument".

"What happened??".

"Well. She was bein annoyin as always and clingy and ah yelled and she yelled and then she kicked me, called me ah big stupid jerk an left an expects me ta apologize. What do ah do??".

"What did you say to her??".

"Ah firgot that she didn't have ah family and I asked her didn't she get enough attention from home and then she got mad".

Applejack heard a sigh.

"Don't sigh and tell me".

"Okay. Simple. Apologize".

"What??!!. Why??. She started it and kicked me and called me ah big stupid jerk!!".

"She's right. You need to apologize. Please just do it".

Applejack sighed. She hung up. Standing up she crossed her arms. She wasn't going to apologize for something she didn't start. She headed upstairs. She passed the movie room.

'I think you should just apologize'.

Applejack stopped and listened. Rainbow was watching a movie.

She could tell it was a cartoon movie by the voices.

She heard a sigh from the movie. Applejack leaned against the wall and listened.

"Please Derek. Just apologize. She's right. She's always right!!. Please. Derek. Reconsideeeeer!!".

The voice faded away.

"Reconsider??. Reconsider what??. I'm right aren't I??", the Derek guy said.

Applejack made a face. Sounded alot like herself.

'Isn't it enough that I fight the dragons??. That I fight the villains and win the prize??'.

"It should be enough fir her", Applejack whispered to herself.

'Isn't it enough that I run the kingdom??. Solving everyone's problems, direct, and advice. Why must I also get down on my knees, and apologize??'.

'You tell me', Applejack thought.

She heard a Hm from the movie. Song time.

"Because I love her. I need her. Like earth needs the sun. I need the one I looove".

Applejack's face soften. These words got her right in the heart.

"To keep my hope bright. My head right. My heart fighting on. Until I am back in her arms".

Applejack smiled a bit. Rainbow always did manage to keep her from going crazy sometimes and made sure Applejack her head screwed on right when she was stressed out.

"Because I love her. I need her. Like summer needs rain. To grow and sustain each daaaay. I hear her singing and bringing her strength to my soul. Until I am back in her arms".

Applejack sighed quietly. She did need Rainbow. She was only one that could get her through tough days at school and laugh.

"Miles apart yet still my heart, can hear her melody. I'm more than sure, that I can't endure without her love for me".

Applejack smiled. She had to admit she would go crazy without Rainbow around. Applejack wouldn't be who she was if it wasn't for Rainbow being with her every day.

"Because I love her. I need her like I need to breath. Did Adam need Eve like thiiiis??. Now I see clearly, I nearly, gave up all I had. So whatever our differences were".

Applejack frowned. The guy was right. So what if they fought. Applejack was wrong and she knew it. She peeked and looked at Rainbow. The girl looked as beautiful to her as always. Her Rainbow.

"I'll put them aside. I'll give love a try. All because, I looooove heeeer!!".

Applejack walked away. She went into their bedroom. She sat down and sighed. The guy from the movie was right. Why should Applejack be the one to say sorry??. Because she loved Rainbow Dash. Plus, she might have hurt her with the family comment she made. Applejack had to apologize. She needed Rainbow. She couldn't stand to be without her in her arms.

Applejack got up. She walked out out of the room and down the hall. She opened the door. Rainbow looked up at her.

"We need ta talk", Applejack said closing the door behind her.

Rainbow paused the movie and looked at her. Applejack walked over to her and sat down.

The blonde sighed.

"Ah'm sorry".

Rainbow looked at her in surprise.

"I honestly thought that would be the last thing that came out of your mouth", she said.

Applejack sighed. "Ah'm sorry. I was wrong. Ah shouldn't have said that stuff ta you. Ah don't know why. U u were right. Ah was a big stupid jerk".

Rainbow smiled."You mean it??".

Applejack nodded. She hugged her. Rainbow hugged back.

"Well. You're my big stupid jerk. I forgive you".

Applejack pulled away. She held the girl's hand.

"And I'm sorry what ah said about your family. That was way outta line. You didn't have ah family ta mess around with or be ah kid so ah guess that's why you're like that with me".

Rainbow made a face. "I can stop if it bothers you".

Applejack shook her head. "No. It doesn't. Ah love your childish self. It's cute".

Rainbow smiled. "Wanna watch the rest of the movie with me??. It's not even half over".

Applejack nodded. "Sure".

Applejack wrapped an arm around her waist and they sat back. Suddenly Rainbow looked at her confused.

"Hey. What made you wanna apologize??", she asked.

Applejack smiled and kissed her lips.

"Because ah love you".

Rainbow smiled and laid her head on her shoulder. Applejack smiled. Why should she have to apologize??. Because she loved Rainbow and that's all there was to it. Love.
