She looked beautiful in any color. I was sure of it. Her peach colored gown that stopped at her knees had no straps. My personal favorite on her really.
"Wow. Look at my wonderful girlfriend. All dressed up for a date she has no idea about." She beamed walking to my car.
Hands glued to her waist already, I pecked her on the lips and noticed the faint smell of vanilla. Hair gave off the scent of hairspray due to the thick curls.
Handing over a bunch of yellow roses, her cheeks turned pink, "Oh Zach, they're so pretty."
I opened the door for her and she stepped in. Following through on the action, I put the keys in and watched her buckle in. I'd hoped she'd go to the party at Michaels house tomorrow. And I hoped she didn't see the acceptance letter to UCLA in the glove department.
"You still didn't tell me why we're going out." She mumbled, gazing out the fading summer sky.
Shrugging I told the truth, "Because I love you."
Good memory 012
Will kissed Stacy in a sort of vengeance way. I winced, not believing that I agreed to this stupidness. It was another test to see if it was just her and I that got shocked afterwards.
She was so egar too, it hurt. The way he held her wasn't for the expiriment. Hands on her face while mine were crossed. Her slender fingers gripped his forearm. They kept kissing, twisting their heads and closing the space between each other.
Back in eighth grade we did both like her. But he agreed that his feelings disappeared a couple years later. What was transpiring in front of me told otherwise.
40... 41... 42, she squeezed his arm and made a small noise. Her right foot was on it's toes and the light from my door made her hair glow. I'm not sorry to say I was jelous.
A shadow stood behind them and smiled evily at them. I wanted my anger out. Still counting in my head as two more blobs acumulated at my feet. Enticing me to be violent.
"Okay you can stop the smooch fest. It's been a minute." I couldn't manage to be more annoyed.
William laughed, "Really? It didn't seem that long. Should we go again just to make sure?"
Stacy smacked his chest and pushed away, "We're good. Trust me. I didn't feel any burning or sickness."
He shrugged, "Maybe Zach's just a bad kisser?"
They both shared laughter as I rolled my eyes, "Ha ha ha, my turn. Stace, come on."
Roughly pulling her from him, we immediately connected and the electricity began. Her hands running through my hair as I bent her over to show off. Feeling how hot we'd both become I counted again in my head.
Something in the background changed and Will gasped. I couldn't be bothered to look as I'd focused on Stacy more. Only to have her open her eyes at the same time I had. The room shifted between darkness and normal.
Our eyes stayed wide as the gloor turned into something of a galaxy. Mixes of blues and purples swirling beneath us. We pulled away to have the normal setting back.
"Holy- You guys are seeing it too right?" Willam practically yelled.
She looked over at him, "What happened?"
William replied, "Black and white. Blips? This is more weird than Stacy coming back from the dead. It's like magic or something- has this happened before?!"
Shaking our heads, I brought us both back up, "No, just burning, hey, Stace your nose is bleeding again."
"Not important. I can't believe I'm saying this, but you two need to kiss again. Don't stop." I couldn't refuse his statement.
Taking force this time, she practically slammed our mouths on each other. The room changed again and Will stepped closer. The longer we went the faster the blackness consumed the room.
Instead of hurt, it felt like heaven. Her legs shook and so did the house. The three of us were thrown in and out of darkness like toys to a child. It went blank before I could leave from her lips. Blinded by something, I couldn't open my eyes.
