What's Going On?
Madison Gaunt was a proud woman. Marrying for the first time had been one of her happiest moments, and yet a tragic accident happened and she was no longer married. She had been in a bad state when she met Elijah Gaunt and his five year old daughter Isabelle and gave her something she had lost.
Happiness.
Both Gaunts had been kind, helping her slowly to return to the person she was before her husband died. It was that year when Elijah asked for her hand in marriage. Little Isabelle had lacked of a maternal mother for years due to her dying at childbirth. And Madison had taken that important role in the five year old in the lapse of a year. Elijah had always done everything for his little girl's happiness and seeing the bond between two women, he made a decision.
A year later, Caleb was born. For Isabelle, that meant her family was growing. Being an older sister and having someone to protect. For Madison, it was having her second chance at happiness. The Gaunt's were together and happy. Or they seemed to be.
"Thanks for the lunch, Izzy" Caleb smiled accepting his big sister's bag of lunch. He shoved it on his backpack, giving her a kiss in her cheek "I'll be back after college"
Isabelle flashed him a smile, taking a bite of a cookie she had made, pausing mid chew, frowning "Ceviche?" She questioned in confusion, looking down at her cookie.
Caleb let out an amused smile, confused "What?"
"This tastes like ceviche. It's reeally good, but... I didn't make ceviche cookies" Isabelle shook her head, dropping the cookie on the bowl.
Caleb laughed "Yeah. I can tell" he walked away, still chuckling "See you later!"
Madison walked in as soon as Caleb walked away. A small smile playing on Isabelle's lips as she watched her brother walk away.
"He seems happy" Madison commented, taking a cookie of the bowl. "I'm glad he is because of what is due this weekend" she added quietly, taking a bite of the cookie
Isabelle looked down at the reminder. "I prefer Caleb to be happy all he can until that moment"
Madison paused mid chew, staring at the young woman before her with softening eyes. The girl who had made her happy again, now suffering for the lost of her father. A father who had been gone now for the past three years. "And what about you?"
Isabelle looked up, "I can handle it" she nodded slowly, her grip on the counter tightening slightly as she fought back a wave of sadness, "I've come to terms of it"
Madison sighed, placing a hand on top of Isabelle's "You're strong, darling. I know. And I know I can be strict with you and try to control you sometimes. But I care for you. Don't forget that"
Isabelle half smiled, still remembering how Madison had never approved her nightly activities or her friendship with Lucinda. "Thanks"
Madison straightened up, eating the rest of her cookie "You have a touch with chocolate cookies" she grinned "You should bake them for Max, sweetheart"
Madison walked away after taking another cookie.
"I don't bake for men, specially my boss" Isabelle called out with a frown, grabbing the cookie she had bit earlier, taking another bite. She looked down in confusion as that time it really tasted like a chocolate cookie. "The fuck?"

"Well, that was rude"
Again, Isabelle had witnessed another failure of Will.
Will turned to face her. She was in the middle of zipping up her sweater, pulling up the hood.
Isabelle looked over the window where Will was to the ground.
Will took a deep breath facing her "Why is that you're here? And where are you?"
Isabelle chuckled, looking around at the little living room of her own bedroom. "Welcome to my bedroom, Will"
Will shook his head, amused. "Right" he leaned against the window of the station.
"Will"
Will looked at the other side of where Isabelle was keeping him company to see Jonas Maliki himself appearing the same way Isabelle had done.
"Will?" Isabelle asked, seeing him turn away from her, frowning and touching his shoulder.
Will turned to her confused, feeling her touch. "I can feel you" Will told her, seeing her own surprise. Isabelle dropped her hand "You're here"
Jonas followed his gaze and soon he understood they weren't alone. "Yes, you can" Jonas replied. Will turned away from Isabelle to face him "Whoever they are. They're here with you" He told him, touching his hand.
"But neither of you are really here" Will breathed, looking between Isabelle and Jonas who couldn't see each other but still followed Will's gaze and knew where the other was. One actually knowing another Sensate was visiting Will.
"No" Jonas agreed. "I'm in solitary confinement" Will looked around, seeing the place Jonas was, seeing he was telling the truth. "And your friend, well... that depends on where they are right now"
"Will?" Isabelle asked.
Will turned to face her, in the station "It's Jonas. He's talking to me. Like you and I can"
Isabelle looked surprised "Well go on. Don't miss this opportunity"
Will turned around, not knowing how to do this "I don't know how"
"Angel called it visiting" He heard Jonas, turning to face him in the solitary confinement he was at, "Members of a cluster do it instinctively, like you and your friend I can't actually see are doing right now. And others, like you and me, outside the cluster can visit if they've made visual contact, eye-to-eye"
Will turned away from Jonas and walked to the wall, touching it, "This is cold" he breathed in shock. "How can I feel this unless I'm here?"
"Because I can feel it" Jonas answered
Will seemed shocked, surprised and overwhelmed as he turned back to Jonas, "No. This doesn't make sense"
Isabelle frowned slightly grabbing a backpack, "Not at all. You're talking to mid air" She pointed out, smirking slightly as she looked at the place Jonas was supposed to be.
"You just spoke Korean, Will" Jonas reminded him
"I can't speak Korean" Will told him
"Yes, you can" Jonas told him "And when you get it, you will"
"Get what?" Will asked, starting to freak out.
Isabelle looked up "Will?"
Jonas looked at the place Isabelle stood, unseen by him "You are no longer just you"
"Will?" Isabelle touched his shoulder, making him stop visiting Jonas. They were now back at where he was.
An officer was walking closer to him, "Mr. Gorski. Will you come with me, please?"
"What did he say?" Isabelle asked, ignoring the police officer. Will started to follow the police officer, Isabelle following behind "Will"
"Talk later" Will said in a low voice, seeming to remember Isabelle wasn't really there.
Isabelle stopped walking "Whatever"
When Will looked back, she was no longer there.

Isabelle shook her head, turning away from where Will walked to her bathroom and disappeared. This was still weird for her. People were appearing out of nowhere in places she was at. The nightclub, her bedroom, the street. She was still worried for the blonde woman who collapsed. She wanted to know what happened to her, if she was okay. Yet, she hadn't seen her again.
It was then when Isabelle was on her way through an alleyway on her way to see Lucinda that a desperate scream reached her ears
"Somebody help me!"
Isabelle gasped, touching her chest "What?" The sudden scent of hospital reached her nostrils, and she turned around, seeing a bunch of nurses leading a patient in a journey. As they walked pass her, the handcuffed patient looked up at Isabelle with frightened eyes
It was the blonde of the pride festival
"Help me" Nomi Marks looked at the redhead who wore a black hoodie. The woman she had seen at the pride march, "Please"

Will seemed scared, having focused into finding Nomi and seeing her visiting asking for help. He took a deep breath, focusing on Isabelle, appearing outside of an alleyway seeing her starting some kind of spray mural. The cop in him for a moment wanted to scold her but he had more pressing matters to attend
"Isabelle!"
Isabelle turned around, finding herself in the passenger seat of Will's car "Two times in a row?" She asked shakily, after her encounter with the blonde. "This seems special, Will"
"Nomi" Will told her. Isabelle's breath hitched in her throat "She needs help"
"Blonde?" Isabelle asked "In a hospital?" At Will's surprised look, she nodded "I just saw her, asking for help. I also witnessed her collapsing in a festival. Will, what's going on?"
Will started driving, "She needs our help. Or she dies. The nine of us will die if we don't"
"Nine?" Isabelle asked perplexed. "What the fuck are you talking about?"
"Jonas said we have to get it to understand this..." Will glanced at her "You are no longer you. You are us. That's why we suddenly feel things out of nowhere, why you and I can talk while I'm in Chicago and you in California. We're visiting. I still don't know what that means, but that's why we need to help this Nomi"
"She's us" Isabelle seemed to understand, still shaken up.

"I swear I don't know where your head is lately" Lucinda told Isabelle that night when they were on their friend Scott's apartment. The three of them were planning their next mural gig.
Isabelle had a cigarette in her hands, trying to forget everything she learned from Will that day. She was laying on top of three different colored puffy and comfortable couches as she stared at the ceiling
"Come on, Lu" Scott slurred. He was always wasted, having tried about almost everything, "Our dear Belle is always a crazy one, aren't you babe?"
Isabelle waved a hand "Shut up" she grumbled, barely glancing at them, seeing them sitting together almost cuddling. She felt like gagging seeing that they began kissing heatedly "Not in front of me, remember? Aromantic here, guys"
Lucinda pulled away, laughing uncontrollably, obviously high for whatever Scott gave her, "That's why you don't fuck Max, honey. Your repulsiveness drives you away and that makes him even more interested in you"
"That's hot" Scott smirked "But that's Isa's man. I'm yours, babe"
They began making out again.
"Ugh" Isabelle gagged, looking away, taking a puff of her cigarette. The only thing in her mind was to tune them off. It was then when this song popped into her head, starring to hum the lyrics, blowing the smoke
Twenty five years and my life is still
Trying to get up that great big hill
Of hope
For a destination
Isabelle smiled to herself, relaxing as she began singing out loud to herself, ignoring the making out of her best friends
I realized quickly
When I knew I should
That the world was made up
Of this brotherhood of man
For whatever that means
Isabelle struggled to get up between the couches, still singing but with a smile in her face
And so I cry sometimes
When I'm lying in bed
Just to get it all out
What's in my head
And I, I am feeling
A little peculiar
Isabelle managed to stand, humming the tune of the song, watching her friends stop making out and watching her. She dropped the cigarette and grabbed a bottle of beer
"Crazy, babe. Told you" Scott grinned
Isabelle continued singing
And I try
Oh my God do I try
I try all the time
In this institution
And I pray
Oh my God do I pray
I pray every single day
For a revolution
Isabelle was singing at the top of her lungs, jumping on the couches, a bottle of beer in her hands
And I say hey hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
I say hey
What's going on?
Lucinda and Scott began singing along her, all laughing uncontrollably
And so I wake in the morning
And I step outside
And I take a deep breath
And I get real high
The three of them, jumped in the bed, using their beers as microphones
And I scream from the top of my lungs
What's going on?
Isabelle placed her arms around Lucinda's and Scott's shoulders, the three screaming at the top of their lungs
And I say hey hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
I say hey
What's going on?
And I say hey hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
I say hey
What's going on?
The three of the had fallen asleep at one point. Isabelle was even singing softly
Oh my God do I pray
I pray every single day
For a revolution
Even when she turned around, she didn't get that surprised to see herself surrounded by two men and a woman.
Isabelle just smiled, briefly looking up and her eyes locking with the man hugging the other man, the two of them singing softly.
And I say hey hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
I say hey
What's going on?
