Personality: Briar comes off as a fun and laid backed person but that is only the impression she gives off. While she acts chill and sometimes pretends not to pay attention, she is actually hyper aware about her surroundings at all time. Years of having to fend for herself have taught her to be ready for anything and to never let her guard down. She's suspicious of everyone she meets and doesn't let anyone know her true intentions. The moment that she catches wind that something isn't right or just has a gut feeling that something is wrong, she's out of there. She's selfish and only cares about herself so she'll be gone in a blink of an eye to save her own skin. So far she hasn't met anyone who she would risk her life for but perhaps that will change.

Other than being emotionally closed off, Briar is stubborn and headstrong. She's not one to bite her tongue and will not hesitate to call people out. Because of this she isn't a team player and does not work well with others. That's fine by her since she prefers to do things on her own, that way she won't get hurt if anyone betrays her. She's also spiteful and will do almost anything to prove naysayers wrong. If that wasn't bad enough, this girl sure can hold a grudge. Briar remembers things well, especially when someone does her dirty, and will continue to remember while harbouring grudge. She's also quick to jump to conclusions and is quick to accuse someone or act defensive which can lead to arguments. Despite her starting arguments with her words, she almost always finishes them with actions. She prefers to resort to a fight rather than talking things out which is what happens when someone criticizes her.

While Briar has many flaws, she also has many traits that are valuable to the type of life she leads. She's courageous, usually being the one to do what others are afraid to do, and strong-willed, when she makes a decision she'll stick to it. Her determination means when she wants something done you can bet she'll get it done no matter what and her resilient mindset allows her to bounce back no matter the setback. She's independent, having no need to rely on others, and adaptable to any situation or environment. Her adaptability means she's great at improvising and being resourceful with what she's given, not to mention she has quick thinking and reflexes. Briar has a silver tongue and is an excellent at lying at persuasion. She knows exactly what to say to get what she wants and to get people do what she wants them to do. Other than lying and persuasion she is also a master at sarcasm and witty remarks. With people she's closer with or knows well, she is playful and humorous, often trading banter back at forth.

*Backstory: Briar was born into a broken home to parents who were both drug users. They thought having a child would fix their mess of a marriage and for a while it worked but after a couple years they were back to abusing drugs. From a young age she had to learn to take care of herself. When she was five her kindergarten teacher noticed that something was wrong at home and child protective services were called. She was taken away from her parents who at that point cared less about her and more about when they'd get their next hit. For the remainder of her childhood and teenage years she bounced from foster home to foster home, never staying anywhere for long because she was a problem child. Briar felt like she didn't belong anywhere and that no one wanted her around, leading her to lash out and run away constantly. She didn't put any effort into school and skipped class to hang out with the wrong crowd which is eventually what got her into crime. By a miracle she managed to graduate high school and began committing crimes full time to earn money. She had been running drugs for a gang for a while now but soon enough the police were on her trail. During a car chase with the police while she was swerving left and right between the two lanes to try and avoid the police, she hit a semi truck head on which caused the truck driver to die on impact and her to slip into a coma. When Briar wakes up in a facility, she finds out she has been sentenced to death because the police believe she attempted a murder-suicide when the crash was actually an accident. The thing is she has no recollection of what happened before the crash and doesn't plan to stick around to tell them her side of the story.
