Personality: First and foremost, Aurelius is a prince and was raised to be fit to be able to sit on the throne of Hyperia. He's perfected the prince charming persona and his many years of lessons in diplomacy have made him able to turn it on as easily as flipping a switch. His smile, whether fake or not, is adorable and is able to melt hearts. However, being royalty doesn't mean he's constantly acting fake and putting up a facade. He's very real most of the time and this mainly due to how Hyperians are as a people. Hyperians are known as generally more aggressive and abrasive people and this shows in his brash nature. He's straight forward and doesn't like to beat around the bush, preferring to just tell things as the way they are without sugarcoating anything. Not telling the whole truth will make it even more painful when it comes out later so he would rather be realistic about everything and not lie to himself.

Being raised as royalty meant that Aurelius was waited on hand and foot so he did develop some negative traits due to that. He can be quite arrogant and egotistical especially to those he sees as inferior or dumber than him. His arrogance mainly comes from when he gets overly confident in himself and his abilities. He doesn't expect everything to be handed to him on a silver platter but he can be extremely stubborn when things don't go his way. This prince is someone who knows what he wants and when he wants it but unlike his sister he knows when he's fighting a losing battle and knows when to give up.

Aurelius is as smart as a whip and a fast learner. He picks things up quickly and is a master as memorizing and absorbing information. That makes it hard for people to keep up to him since his brain is always processing new ideas. He's creative as well and uses his intelligence and resources to think of solutions outside the box. With his intelligence and ego also come ambition. Since he has the smarts and the drive to get what he wants, he's determined and when he's gunning for something he really wants is when he gets super stubborn. However, he doesn't let his ambition get the best of him and is levelheaded. He's calm and thinks things through before making any rash decisions like a true strategist. To most people he's neutral too, Aurelius is pretty chill. Although he's not a big talker, he's easy to approach and loves company. Unfortunately, he's not very good at dealing with romantic approaches. He isn't easily flustered or embarrassed but has trouble flirting back, it's more like doesn't know how to continue the conversation.

Opinion on witch hunts: he finds them cruel and imagines it to be a horrifying way to die. As a person of royal status, he has never been hunted down and risk being killed so he cannot relate to those who are in risk of being hunted but lowkey fears the hunts as he is what people consider a "witch" as well.

Opinion on sexism: Hyperia is a liberal kingdom where men and women are treated equally. He was raised with these beliefs and stands strongly by them, believing there should not be discrimination based on gender and sex.

Opinion on homophobia: Aurelius is a member of the LGBTQ community so he does not condone or support homophobia. In Hyperia, sexuality and the such is welcomed so he grew up with acceptance being the norm.

Brief backstory: Aurelius was born as the crown prince of Hyperia and the future heir to the Hyperian throne. Ever since he could walk and talk, he was groomed to be a fit ruler. His days were crammed with studies, training, and princely duties. He rarely ever got leisure time alone but when he did he spent it reading. The prince was an avid reader and loved to get lost in a good book so it was only fitting that he had his nose buried in a book when he made a major discovery.

Aurelius was reading in the shade of a tree and was getting to a particularly exciting part of the story when he realized flowers were beginning to grow around him. Nature was reacting to his emotions and he was shocked to discover he had these abilities since no one else in his family showed signs of magic. He was the tender age of 12 when he discovered this and continued to hone his powers, only telling his siblings about it after making sure they swore to secrecy.
