Personality: on the surface, Soren seems like your typical high school jock. He acts dumb and is more brawn than brain. He calls everyone "bro" and is usually seen in the halls laughing with his friends. Soren won't deny that he's a part of the popular crowd and theres good reason for it too. He's likable, fits in well, and is the captain of the senior boys volleyball team.

Unknown to most people, Soren is much more than he seems to be. He's quite intelligent and studious, he works equally as hard in class to get good grades as he trains in volleyball practice. He's focused, determined, and hates giving up. On more than one occasion he has fallen asleep studying or practiced by himself until the early hours of the morning. Soren is an honest person and hates lying in any form whether that be telling lies or cheating on tests. He believes in working hard for what you want and puts in all his effort to achieve his goals.

Soren has a good heart but is afraid to show it. To him, appearance and success is everything. He keeps up his popular jock persona everyday at school and strives for perfect grades. His entire future is riding on how he acts now and he can't afford to fall on the social ladder. Soren is kind, generous, helpful, and empathetic but he rarely shows these traits to anyone except family. He's afraid of what people will think if he stays from the status quo and acts differently than how they usually see him. Since he's aiming for a full ride scholarship, Soren has placed a lot of pressure on himself. However he doesn't want to burden the people around him with it so he keeps it inside of him. He just suppresses his feelings instead of letting them our and honestly doesn't know how to release them.

Strengths:
- air is basically everywhere so no matter where he is, Soren is in his element, literally

- his powers stretch as far as his creativity so he can makes someone's lungs burst, pull air out of people's lungs, or just make things float

Weaknesses:
- he can't use his powers anywhere there is a lack of air such as underwater or in space

- in tight spaces like underground or in tunnels where there is less air and space, he has trouble using his powers as there is less air to control and move around

Background: Soren was born, raised, and currently lives in New York. He's lived a pretty normal life so far and was raised by two loving parents. He considers himself pretty lucky because growing up he had both his parents who had good paying jobs which allowed them to live comfortable, middle class lives and they didn't constantly have to worry about money. However, last year tragedy hit their family. Soren's father was hit by a speeding car and passed away, leaving him and his mother. They had savings and were able to collect life insurance so they weren't complete penniless but Soren knows how hard it is on his mom who has to support both of them alone while still grieving for his father. Soren has always done well in school and but his passion is playing volleyball so he is now striving to get a full sports scholarship to a good college.
