Aurelius Draco Choi

Aurelius is of Latin origin meaning "the golden one" and Draco is of Greek origin meaning "dragon." Aurelius is the English name he chose for himself and the name he usually goes by. He chose this name when he was in middle school and he just decided to be extra and give himself an extra fancy name.

Choi Minjoon

Min means "sharp, quick, clever" and Joon means "talented, handsome." This his birth name his mother gave him.

Little dragon - his mother gave him this nickname from when he was still an infant and occasionally still calls him that. Only his mother knows and is allowed to call him little dragons because other than this exception, he dislikes nicknames.

Ever since he was a child, Aurelius has been mature and wise beyond his years. Many of his friends from school were from older grades since he preferred to hang out with people who weren't immature and could hold deeper conversations. Many people mistake him to be older than he is as he carries himself with the confidence of an experienced businessman.

Aurelius was born in Seoul, South Korea and his father was in the room when his mother gave birth. His father stayed and helped care for him with his mother until his first birthday when he left.

His ethnicity/race is Asian and his nationality is Korean. Having grown up surrounded by the culture, he is quite accustomed to the Asian culture of respecting your elders and superiors. He is also used to the idea that you work not only for yourself, but also to support your family.

Aurelius speaks fluent Korean as that was his first language. His mother spoke to him in Korean since he was an infant and having been raised in South Korea, it was natural for him to quickly pick up the language. He continued to speak Korean throughout his life through school and work.

His second language he is fluent in is English. His mother decided to enroll him into an international middle school and high school where classes were taught in both English and Korean so that Aurelius would have more oppurtunities in the future. He first learned English in class but began watching shows and reading books that were in English at home as self study. By the end of high school he was almost fluent and going to university in England helped improve his vocabulary and accent.

Once he entered the workforce, Aurelius began learning Japanese so communication between Japanese clients would become easier. He is still learning but picking it up quickly since Japanese and Korean are similar languages.

Aurelius isn't religious as his mother wasn't and he wasn't raised with religious influences such at church or catholic school. He strongly believes in hard work and that every person is the architect of their own success.

Aurelius uses tattoos as a form of expression for his feelings because he himself isn't good at art or showing his true feelings. Most of his body modifications were against the wishes of his mother because she worried that no professional workplace would accept them but he went ahead and got them anyways. However he made sure to get his tattoos in places where they won't be easily seen and are usually covered up.

His first tattoo was a stick and poke tattoo he did to himself when he was 13 of the Taurus constellation. He got it when he began getting interested into astronomy and it is on the inside of his right ankle

His first professionally done tattoo was a dragon behind his right ear to represent his dragon form. He got it on his 18th birthday to celebrate becoming an adult.

His next tattoos are the symbol of air behind his left ear meant to represent his aerokinesis abilities and the thunderbolt on his left ankle to represent his storm manipulation abilities. He got it when he was 21 after graduating from university.

His most recent tattoo which he got on his 25th birthday is of the phases of the moon down his spine. It's to represent his lycan abilities and his love of astronomy.

Aurelius is cold and quiet on the outside. He's not a man of many words and prefers to be an observer, only speaking up when he has something to add. He's calm and levelheaded, always thinking things through and never impulsively jumping into a decision. Aurelius is confident and incredibly intelligent, unfortunately this causes him to sometimes be condescending and controlling. He likes everything to be organized and is hardworking but stubborn. He can sometimes have a lack of empathy and tends to get quite anxious if things go wrong. On the inside he's a huge dork who loves astronomy and cares for everyone.

Caring - he is caring and always ready to lend a helping hand, even to strangers. He knows what it's like to go through difficult times so he tries to provide support anyway he can to be people he cares about. He often reminds his coworkers and mother to take a break to eat and to always take care of themselves.

Confident - Aurelius carries an air of self assurance around him and is confident in himself. He knows what he's capable of and what he's not capable off. His uses his skills and strong suits to get the best results in his work. He doesn't let other peoples views affect his own and stays unbothered.

Calm - he is a very levelheaded and calm person. He doesn't anger easily and doesn't act impulsively, always thinking things through thoroughly before making a decision. He also makes sure he has all the correct info before forming an opinion on anything. He's quiet and doesn't usually speak up unless needed, preferring to observe.

Controlling - Aurelius likes to have control over everything and gets stressed when things don't go the way he wants to. Having control allows him to feel safe and grounded. In order to try and gain control, he can quite possessive over what is his. He gets upset if someone tries to change something or take over his work and doesn't trust others to do as good as a job as him.

Cold - his usual neutral expression doesn't allow anyone to guess what he's thinking and he doesn't tell them either. He remains distant and unattached. At times, it seems as if he is just a mindless working machine. He doesn't give a friendly first impression and usually remains serious and professional during business meetings.

Condescending - Aurelius is smart, attractive, and gets the best results at work. He doesn't just think he's successful, he knows it. He isn't overly arrogant and won't rub it in your face but he will show that he thinks he's better than you through subtle signs such as his attitude towards you.

Intelligence - he's a quick learner and catches on to new concepts with ease. He has great memorization skills and had excelled in his studies ever since he was child. He's as smart as a whip and his love of learning is what really drove him to study and improve.

Organization - Aurelius likes everything to be neat and tidy, if things are cluttered he can't focus. He believes that a clear mind can be achieved if you have a clean working space. If things are disorganized he has to clean it up before he can do anything else. A messy space is his biggest pet peeve and if things are organized he can find everything easier.

Hard working - other than his love of learning, his determination is also what helped him become a top student. He's incredibly hard working and doesn't get distracted easily. He's not one to be lazy or slack off, preferring to get things done as fast as possible so it's out of the way and he can relax with a clear mind knowing everything is done.

Anxious - Aurelius gets anxious everytime something doesn't go the way he wants it to or if people don't stick to the plan. Even if its just a tiny change, it will annoy him. He doesn't like to improvise and prefers to have a solid, foolproof plan. His anxiety can cause him to worry on hours on end until he's gets proof that everything turned out okay, that's the only way he can be reassured and feel relieved.

Lack of empathy - he has trouble expressing his feelings and rather than talk about them, he bottles them up inside or tries to oppress them. This in turn causes him to be quite insensitive to other people's emotions and he can unintentionally hurt them. Although he can be cold he would never actually mean to hurt anyone's feelings and if he does, he has no idea how to console them. He get incredibly awkward when people cry around him and he sure as hell doesn't know what to do to help them.

Stubborn - Aurelius is usually open minded but at times can get incredibly stubborn. When he's made his mind up about something, it's very hard to get him to change his opinion. Especially when he's working hard on something, he won't stop until he's finished. Even if it means pushing his body and mind through exhaustion, he stubbornly refuses to stop.

Aurelius is usually in a calm, quiet mood. He's not a man of many words and likes to stay focused. He's hard to anger and has amazing patience which he uses to tolerate anything that bothers him. He's levelheaded and tackles problems from a logical standpoint. How he acts in the office is how he usually is outside the office as well.

𝐁𝐄𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒 - †
Focused - when he is focused, it is very hard to break him out of his trance. He blocks out and eliminates all possible distractions before he starts working so that he can be solely focused on one thing. That way, he can be the most productive.

Sad - he doesn't show his feelings publicly and tries to keep his expression neutral. At first, he tries to calm himself down so he can think of a logical solution. If that fails, he will become increasingly more and more distressed but still refuse to speak to anyone. His stress eventually turns into anxiety.

Happy - other than an occasional small smile, he doesn't show his happiness much. Even those small smiles are to seem friendly in professional settings. The closest he could describe his happiness as is "content." He won't outwardly grin if he's happy as he believes happiness isn't just physical cues but mostly internal feelings. However when the rare smile or laugh slips out, he has a cute genuine smile that reaches his eyes and reveals his dimples.

Aurelius gives off a very professional vibe and has an air of confidence around him. Everyone thinks he is very self assured but quiet as he usually doesn't say much. He acts cold and distant, sometimes even condescending, and people get easily intimidated.

Running his hands through his hair - he developed this habit when he went through his "rebellious" phase during his teenage years when he bleached and dyed his hair.

Organizing - when he's feeling stressed, he will get the urge to organize things. It doesn't matter what it is, sorting papers, aligning books, as long as it's out of order he will want to organize it

Touching his tattoos - when things seem to spiral out of his control, he discreetly touches his tattoos to ground himself. It calms him down and reminds him that no matter what changes, his tattoos will always be permanently on his skin.

Aurelius was born in Seoul, South Korea and until his first birthday, he was raised by both his father and mother. After his father left them, his mother struggled to raise a baby as a single parent and often had financial difficulties. Aurelius wasn't aware of his mother's struggles until elementary school and vowed to work hard so he could provide for both of them in the future.

Due to his impressive academic achievements, his mother was able to enrol him in an international middle school and high school where classes were taught in both English and Korean. She had hoped it would give her son more oppurtunities and that's exactly what happened. Aurelius excelled in his studies and took advanced classes. When he got into high school, he was offered the opportunity of going to England every summer to learn and he took it. After graduating at the top of his class, Aurelius when to an university in England to study English and came back to Korea to work.

When he first came back, he bought his own apartment but his mother's health took a sudden decline. He constantly worried about her and even though she protested, he insisted and moved her into his apartment so he could care for her.
