Personality: Markus is a righteous man who always tries to do what it right. He follows his moral compass and sticks to it, stubbornly refusing to do things he believes it wrong. He is also a man of loyalty and his loyalties run deep for people he cares about. He loves his brother and would do anything for him, even sacrificing himself to save him. Markus is also extremely loyal and obedient to his superiors in the army and to Elysia. He would rather die before betraying his kingdom.

Markus is strongly opinionated and stubborn, it takes a lot to change his mind about something he has already formed an opinion on. He won't change his mind unless he has solid proof of the opposition, for him seeing is believing. Even though his beliefs usually lie with his loyalties, if he sees wrongdoings becoming committed, he'll begrudgingly switch sides as he would never allow himself to do something he knows it wrong.

Markus is bluntly honest and will give the truth to you straight. He hates lying and sees no point in beating around the bush as he sees it we denying the inevitable truth. Backstory: Markus' father passed away before his birth and his mother died of illness when he was young. His older brother, Lukas, became his primary caretaker and raised him. The two brother are as close as can be and Markys idolized his brother. When Lukas decided to become a soldier, it was no surprise that Markus wanted to follow in his brother's footsteps. Lukas became a general in charge of the army and Markus is now working his way up the ranks.
